I really love just simple and minimalistic aesthetics. The Logitech G713 fits this description. I also wanted a mechanical keyboard that could game like a beast. The Logitech G713 fits this description. One thing clearly distinguishes the G713 from Logitech's previous lines. That would be the white finish. It looks SO good. It really just complemented my setup so well. Right out of the box, you will be pleased at your purchase. The build quality also felt excellent. It feels sturdy. In terms of real use, I just love the tactile feedback that I get. The G713 uses the GX Brown keys. Honestly, it does not produce too annoying or distracting of a sound. It is fairly quiet. In terms of response time, it felt near instantaneous. The included cloud wrist rest looked dumb to me, but my wrists were screaming thank you. It feels like a cloud. The RBG lighting just looks SO good with the white. You can customize with the G Hub App. All in all, this is a mechanical keyboard that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and yet can game like a boss. The white adds a nice aesthetic touch and the wrist rest is truly a nice addition.

The Logitech Aurora G713 wired keyboard is a great keyboard with some questionable feature. The keyboard comes in all white, with mechanical keys that feel great to type with. The letter keys are custom back lit well as a LED strip around the whole bottom edge of the keyboard. There are 4 main media keys at the top, there is also a volume wheel. This keyboard is wired and can be connect via a USB-C cable. The cloud palm rest is a nice touch that completes the look of the whole package, although it does get dirty fast. The Aurora G713 keyboard can be customized in many different ways with the free Logitech G hub software. Through the software you can customize the LED lighting in infinite ways, the premade profiles look amazing to me, and that’s what I currently use. The nice thing about this is you can safe your profile directly to your keyboard in case you want to use this on another computer. The LED is not the only thing that can be customized, Logitech also made it to where you can customize the faceplate, even the keys can be changed. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of the faceplate, while its very easy to remove (it attaches magnetically), it leaves a noticeable bulge around the edge. It also doesn’t even cover the face of the keyboard all the way, so if you do decide to change colors, it would look kind of odd. Typing on the Aurora feels really good. The mechanical keys feel really good when you click them, and the extra raised keys make it more comfortable to type. The only thing I wish this keyboard had, is the number pad. Overall, I think the Aurora G713 is a fantastic keyboard. The white keyboard with the cloud hand rest make it look comforting, mixed with the LED lights it looks beautiful. The mechanical keys feel great to type, they’re also very responsive. Although, I’m not crazy about the detachable faceplate, over time I have learned to ignore it. I just wish it had the number pad on the right for better convenience. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a bright and tactical keyboard.

This keyboard really well made and the white color complements the key colors very well. It comes with two different USB adapters that allow you to take advantage of more advanced features if your PC supports it. I just used the regular USB adapter and it is working very well. It works right of the box and you can download the optional software to have full control over the lighting. There is large amount of light colors and color schemes to select. For gamers, there is a unique feature that the software provides in that searches for preset gaming configurations for any installed software. The software recognized all the games I had loaded on my computer and gave the option to select a customized setup for each. All the keys are very responsive and the weight and feel is just right for extended gaming sessions. The USB cable is plenty long enough and the extra can be managed by the included rubber cable tie. The cloud shaped hand rest is an added addition and very comfortable to use. This keyboard will give you an advantage in gaming the cool lighting will set the mode.

Very nice gaming keyboard. The RGB LED lights are fully programmable and the keys fully support remapping. The click on this keyboard is outstanding and so satisfying. Not too clicky and not too quiet. Tactile. They nailed it. I really appreciate USB C connectivity this time around. Finally. The build quality of this keyboard is better than most I’ve tried. I don’t feel any flex or give when typing. Just solid-feeling responses from the keys. This could easily ride in my tech backpack and I would not have one worry about malfunction due to build. I appreciate the included palm rest as it adds a certain level of comfort and aesthetics. It’s not wireless but that’s ok. The LED lights would zap the battery too soon for me I would suspect. The roller mouse is very handy and though I have to remind myself of it’s existence, once I remember to use it it’s very handy and more convenient than reaching for your mouse for a quick webpage scroll or photoshop zoom in/out. I highly recommend this keyboard for anyone that wants their gaming rig to stand out!

Love visual customization of this tactile keyboard

Adding the Logitech G713 Aurora wired gaming keyboard to my gaming setup has been a major upgrade in comfort, usability, and customization.   In the box is the wired keyboard (~6' detachable cord USB-A to USB-C), palm rest pad, and instructions.  Setup is simply plug and play, however to use the customization options, you will have to install the Logitech G Hub. Jumping into layout, the keyboard is tenkeyless (TKL), meaning its standard size of 87 keys, and doesn't have the number pad to reduce footprint.  The keys are individually lighted RGB mechanical switches topped with textured PBT keycaps, with under case lighting. The key spacing density is standard, so for most there isn't an issue with accidentally hitting multiple keys.  The key weighting is medium, with a bit longer key travel that I expected from a gaming keyboard, however there was zero lag and after the first 15 minutes I didn't notice.  The keyboard has rubber feet and two levels of incline, a 4 degree tilt and an 8 degree tilt. Additional features are quick control buttons across the top, in order from left to right are: gaming button, customizable to eliminate unwanted key input during gaming, brightness, media reverse, play/pause, forward, mute, and a ~2" wide roller for fine tune volume adjustment. Lastly, there is a magnetic removable top plate you can paint or swap with two other color options (not included), these same colors are available in interchangeable key caps as well. The thing that sets this keyboard apart, outside of the quality tactile mechanical keys, is the user experience.  From the G Hub interface, I can create custom light patterns or use preexisting light animations, create game specific lighting profiles, configure game keys, and overall make the RGB lighting patterns as vibrant or muted as preferred. While the presets are a nice starting point, I really liked the ability to match RGB color patterns with my desktop lighting. In summary, this is a well made, nicely weighted gaming keyboard. It can double as your daily school / work keyboard if you don't mind not having the number pad. The color patterns and animations are only limited by your imagination, and the keys are sturdy with a no lag response. This keyboard will be my new go based on visual style and build quality.

The Logitech - G713 Aurora Collection TKL Wired Mechanical Keyboard is an overall great keyboard. It’s easy to set up and use. This Logitech G713 has many additional buttons rather than your standard keyboard. It has a button that can ‘disable’ certain keys to enhance your gaming experience. It has a button to change and turn off the RGB lights. It has buttons for volume and rewinding and forwarding video. The keyboard also includes what is possibly my favorite feature, a volume scroller. The scroller allows you to change your volume without minimizing your game or video. The keyboard has keys that are backlit with customizable RGB lights. The RGB lights also go around the keyboard which is a nice touch. The overall sound of the keyboard is pretty great. For me I enjoy hearing the nice tactile sound, which isn't too mechanical or quiet, when I press a key. The keyboard comes with a nice, firm yet soft, wrist rest. It’s about the same size as the keyboard lengthwise and feels amazing when used for long periods of time. The keyboard is also on the lighter side so it won’t be uncomfortable or awkward to move. Overall, if you are looking for a very versatile, comfy keyboard that comes with many great features, then you really need to consider this Logitech G713 keyboard.

This is one of the nicest and coolest looking keyboard you will use. It is heavy and extremely sturdy. Since it is USB type C wired, it is plug and play. The keys light up and you can even select different patterns. I plugged in this keyboard and immediately began to use it. I started typing a paper for one of my school projects. I fell in love with the look and feel. I actually enjoyed using this keyboard and found myself looking down at it because it is so cool looking. The keys are smooth like butter. I feel like I can type on it all day. I then started my favorite FPS PC game and played it for a while. All of the keys felt natural and I had no issues with it. Until this point I actually had forgotten that it came with a cloud shaped wrist pad. I set it up and tried everything all over again. It was way more comfortable with the wrist pad. The cloud shape also adds to the fun. The only thing I with this keyboard had was a full numeric keypad. Then it would be the absolute perfect keyboard. But there is little to not like about this keyboard. I even like that the USB cable is detachable so if it gets damaged you can just swap it out. This is going to be my every day keyboard.

    Logitech + Keyboards = Awesome!!

Logitech has been my favorite brand for keyboards and mice for at least the past 16 years. While I normally use the wireless compact (but "full-keyed") MK470 for work and general use at home, I was looking for a decent wired gaming keyboard with my recent foray back into PC gaming. Well, it seems that the Logitech G713 Aurora (Tactile) has turned out to be more than decent. Right out of the box, I noticed that this was no lightweight keyboard, which surprised me a little. The footprint is just about the size of the K360 (my previous wireless compact, full-keyed keyboard) that we also use around the house, but slightly narrower. The design of the base is very similar, from the thickness to the curved corners and edges. While the K360 still has the 10-Key with almost the same size, the design for the G713 has the normal middle keys of the keyboard (arrows, Ins, Home, Del, etc.) instead. Across the top are a few special function keys: Game mode (which disables the Windows and menu keys by default, but more can be added to disable in G HUB); Brightness (which, of course, changes the brightness of the LED lighting, but also changes running preset with press with 1 - 0); then the music/mute controls. There is also a roller bar at the top right that is used to control the volume. Although it is a wired keyboard, the USB cable is detachable. It connects with USB-A to the computer, and USB-C to the keyboard. The keyboard height can be set to two additional heights from flat. Getting to use it, the feel/response of the keys are great! Definitely no issues here. It is taking a little getting used to not being the low-profile keys that I am used to using all day every day. Using G HUB, there is so much customization available. When I first started G HUB and it detected the keyboard, it did prompt to do a quick firmware update. After that, it was on to seeing how it could all be set up. While I really am not a fan of all the LED lighting that seems to be on everything gaming (mice, keyboards, PC's, and even on some memory modules), the lighting on the G713 is unique in my (limited) experience. There are several different presets (there are actually some really cool ones to watch) and animations (which you can create your own custom animations). Then there is the Freestyle, where every single key can be set to its own color, along with the 15 ring/underside lights. There are also groups of keys that can be set the same (such as WASD, F keys, Arrows, etc.). Key/action assignments can be done as well. Macros can also be recorded. While my work requires me to use my normal keyboards (I definitely need the 10-Key), when it comes time to play, the G713 is now my go-to keyboard.

So I have used wireless keyboards for a decade plus... and frankly, I spend big money for so-so performance. So I went back to a wired keyboard... and this has been great. So first and foremost... The key press on this is awesome... the push back on the keys have been great, and they respond very quickly. Allowed me to bump up my words per minute at least by 5 or more (I am in around 130 or so). I love that the cable is removable. Two reasons, this allows me to carry the keyboard in a backpack (when I am going into work), without worrying about breaking/bending the cable. And it has allowed me to add a cable to the length I needed to get to my KVM switch. I love the lighting effect on the keyboard, yah, it is purely cosmetic, but it does add a cool effect to my desk. And I enjoy that. The quick action buttons and roller are good, I don't use them a a ton but they are there and work well for what they are intended for. So the 1 start reduction: - I actually do miss the number pad more then I thought I would. - I need an ergonomic version of this keyboard. At least a basic one where there is a gap and my wrists can stay at their normal angle.

LOVE!! This keyboard is adorable and the linear version is fantastic. I didn't realize I wanted a white keyboard set until now and I'm obsessed. I used to have a big Corsair keyboard that was great, but it was too bulky for my needs. The cloud wrist rest is comfortable as well. 10/10 recommend!! Buy the matching mouse & headset, you won't regret it.

Compact Keyboard Takes Some Getting Used To!

I don't know what I expected from this item but as a gamer who is also a business professional, so I use gaming keyboards at home and ergonomic keyboards at work, I was definitely surprised by this cool little keyboard. The wrist support being a cloud is pretty cool and it was something that my girlfriend noticed and really liked when she was using the G713. I did too but the way I sit when typing it felt just kinda weird to me. But I am used to a full-sized keyboard that is spread out & covered with extra macro keys nso it took some getting used to. It didn't take long though. The key felt nice when engaged and when released, my typing was the same as it normally is at 150+ WPS, and so I enjoy the keyboard but my girlfriend has really fallen in love with it. So much so that she has taken over using it with her Mac along with the Logitech Vertical Mouse for Mac. Both being white, compact, and easy to carry has made her adopt it quicker than any other peripheral I have brought home for her or that she has asked for. That is the ultimate sign of approval, if the lady of the house is happy then all are happy & I must say that we are all truly happy with this cool little keyboard from Logitech!

The good: It looks great, the keys feel nice, and I love the volume roller. 3 different connection options. Cloud palmrest is adorable. The bad: If mine isn't defective, then this keyboard has some pretty serious flaws. It was fully charged, then the firmware updated and the battery dropped immediately to 0%. When I plugged it back in, it wouldn't charge at all until I let it sit all night. Wired is the only reliable connection, it disconnects every few mins on bluetooth or receiver. The LEDs are the dimmest I've ever seen on any keyboard, the room lights have to be off or I can barely see the lighting. It's not just my eyes either cause my Razer keyboard is very bright even with the room lights on. I've messed with G Hub for hours trying different presets and colors, turned brightness up to 100, turned inactivity dimming off, etc but it's just super dim no matter what. I really wanted to love it especially since good white keyboards are hard to find, but I just can't justify keeping it with these issues :(

Good keyboard, but not the best fit for me

While this is still a very nice keyboard, there are a few things that I don't love about it. On the Pro side, it has nice reactive keys that feel very precise and high quality. You can definitely type faster than on a laptop's built in keyboard. It also has a lot of custom options for the lighting which is fun. The wrist rest is also very comfortable. On the Con side, the styling and lighting options skew pretty feminine. White doesn't have to automatically be feminine (think of most Apple products) but this one feels that way for sure. Now that's a con for me because of my personal preferences, but could be a plus for other people. Also the keyboard feels unnecessarily thick and bulky. To some extant that was probably intentional to be able to go together with the wrist rest better, but for me it actually takes away from the overall comfort a bit. I have a different model of Logitech gaming keyboard I use with another computer that has a much lower profile and when I used the rest with it, it was much better. Again this could be my had size and finger length that affects this and it may not be an issue with someone else. Overall it is still a very nice keyboard, but it just isn't the best fit for me.

Logitech G713 Aurora Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

So I received my Logitech G713 Aurora Collection TKL Mechanical Tactile Keyboard a couple weeks ago and have been putting it through its paces. This has turned out to be one of my favorite mechanical keyboards that I've used in a long time. Logitech never ceases to amaze me. Inside the box comes the G713 Gaming Keyboard, USB-A to USB-C cable, a cloud-like palm rest, and the user documentation. To get started simply plug the USB-C end of the cable to the back of the keyboard and the other end into and empty USB port on your desktop. Next you'll want to go to Logitech's website and download and install the GHUB software to your computer and you're ready to go. This keyboard is compatible with Windows, MacOS, iOS, as well as iPadOS. This keyboard can be customized to your liking with the additional purchase of keycaps and top plates which are all interchangeable. When you connect the keyboard to your desktop you are immediately greeted with the cool light ring that goes almost around that entire bottom of the keyboard. In addition to the cool lighting effects, the keyboard has a dimmer button as well as dedicated rewind, fast forward, play/pause, and mute buttons at the top. The G713 also features a volume roller wheel at the top right of the keyboard. I have had a blast using this keyboard over the last couple of weeks with my online games through Nvidia and Microsoft. It is very comfortable to use and I love the tactile click sound while gaming and my daily usage. With the GHBU software you can customize the light effects/animations. I recommend this amazing keyboard to anyone looking for a cool mechanical keyboard with lighting effects, tactile feedback, and interchangeable top plates and keycaps (both of which are not included).

The Logitech G713 is a aesthetic king or queen. It has great looks and functionality! This is a TKL that has all the functions you need and nothing you don’t. It has a game mode that I really like where you can disable windows keys from accidentally coming up or chose what you want to disable. Which it great. The large volume roller on a smaller keyboard is always a plus to make it easy to raise or lower without have to find then press it a million times to do it. The looks are great! It has rounded edges to give it that soft look yet contained. It also has great hardware customizations! This is where the aesthetics come in. Depending on your setup you can swap the top plate and key caps to a different color to match. Or you can keep it white for that minimalist and clean look. The RGB is fantastic! So customizable with the Logitech G Hub app. The keyboard also has a bottom ring to add a little flair to your desk which really makes it pop! The tactile switches are really good and the feel is great while typing and gaming. The keys are a comfortable height making it very ergonomic. The included cloud wrist rest is made out of a fake leather plastic material. I wish it was more of a cloth for comfort. But at the same time it won’t get super dirty and it’s cleanable. Also I wish there was a slight cut off so it can slide flush with the keyboard. But that’s super minor. This keyboard is a great looking and performing making it perfect for any desk.

In the box is the G713 gaming keyboard, usb-a to usb-c power cable (1.8m), cloud palm rest and a booklet with user documentation. First impression, I love the slimmer design with the detachable USB-C cord, the light show with gaming keys illuminated a red color, and the cloud palm rest is very comfortable. There is a download that should be completed immediately since there is a firmware update available. After the update, there is a short tutorial that shows you the additional button functions and you can customize the whole keyboard as well. I personally love the default settings, so I decided to skip that part of setting up but continued the tutorial for all of the additional buttons at the top. The cloud palm rest is actually very nice and comfortable. I was a little skeptical at first because taking it out of the box, it is so thin. After using it for a couple days now, I definitely would like to have another one for my office keyboard. The detachable cord allows you to multitask and use the keyboard for work and play but for me, this will only be for gaming since there is no number key. I love using for work but find myself flustered when I try to type numbers and have to use the numerical keys at the top. Overall, with or without the customization, I would definitely recommend this keyboard to friends and family.
