I got these recently, and they for sure take a little bit to get used to. For context I upgraded to these from the G733’s that I’ve had for years. The G733’s are very light, while these are heavier. The heaviness takes some getting used to if you’re coming from a lighter headset, but the sound is worth it! I used the USB connection as my motherboard doesn’t have a great bluetooth adapter, it’s a very simple plug and play, beware of the updates on GHUB though! I haven’t had them long enough to note anything on the battery life, but I haven’t had to charge them yet! Thr pckage also comes wirh an extra set of plush ear covers, along with the leather ones, and a fabric pouch that the headphones can fit in. I’ve loved them so far, so I’m hoping that will continue! I’ve added some photos for the comparison of my G733’s (do note that these headphones have much better adjustable headbands!).

I’ve been looking around for a while for headsets that are not to crazy in price, the bang for my buck, and ones that I know will last me a long time. Now this was a hard decision since I never liked headsets much and was a earbud person. But after giving these a try after a month. I am not disappointed nor regret the purchase. The comfort in the mesh cushions provided for preference, the Logitech software hub, the amazing audio for my competitive gaming/chill gaming too, the battery life, and easy equalizer to pick my profile for those needed audio que in games that I never heard before till now. No issues have occurred and it feels nice to finally have amazing headsets that I can rely on.
That's wonderful to hear the PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED has been such a positive experience for you, especially as someone who preferred earbuds! We're thrilled you're enjoying the comfort, software, audio, and battery life. Thanks for sharing your detailed feedback!

I replaced my Corsair HS80 Max for this headset expecting not so much of an upgrade... But oh boy I was wrong!! This headset is AMAZING!!! The sound quality is A1, with excellent Bass quality which is something I care about. The HS80 Max are NOTHING! if we are comparing them to the sound and microphone quality of this headset. The microphone sound incredible and I had a few friends that told me I sound like if I was using a professional studio microphone. I fell in love with the headset and honestly I'm never going back to any other brand
Thanks for letting us know how things are going. We’re happy the product is performing as expected. Your support means everything.

I switched to these from the wired Astro A40s. These headphones sound just as good if not better than my previous pair. Additionally, they are comfortable for long hours of gaming, and the battery life is great. Only downside is I wish it had active noise cancellation but other than that they are great.

These are a great wireless headset overall! Super comfortable—especially for someone who wears glasses—and the battery life is solid. Sound quality is clear, though I occasionally get a crackling noise in the left ear. The mic isn’t the best (pretty typical for wireless headsets), but it gets the job done. Still a strong choice for gaming and daily use.

Came from steel series arctis 7’s and those were amazing. These take it a step further with the comfort, sound quality, bass, positioning of footsteps. The audio just seems smoother and not overly loud like the steel series can be. I don’t have to turn down most games I open, turn down music boy is discord, nothing. Logitechs cheaper headsets aren’t the greatest but I feel like the pro x’s are just built different lol.
Thanks for sharing your experience with the Logitech PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset! We're thrilled to hear you find it comfortable, delivers excellent audio quality, and provides clear in-game positioning. We appreciate you choosing Logitech!

I orginally user the G773 and moved to this. Great upgrade. Very comfortable, and lightweight. The microphone is much better as well! Battery life is fantastic too! Set up was failry easy as well. I did buy them on sale as well as doing the logitech recycle trade in. Im not too sure if I would have bought it at full price however, but if you have logitech products to recyle and get credit, I would recommend!
We're thrilled you're enjoying the upgrade to the PRO X 2, especially the comfort, mic quality, and long battery life! It's great to hear you found the setup easy too. Thanks for choosing Logitech!

This headset is completely overkill, the sound quality is out of this world, i love this headset and i got really impressed about the weight it's pretty light. It could be a little bit more cheap, but i really don't mind to pay a little more money to get this high quality headset.
The battery is insane btw, i bought like 1 month/2 and i only have to charge 1 time.
Cons: The mic is really decent but you have to know which configs is gonna fit better for it.

This gaming headset touches all the bases in the most perfect ways!
I have had many many headsets over the years and after using this one for just 2 months this one is already in my top 2, if not top 1 for gaming headsets.
A super comfortable headset that can be worn for as long as you need without any discomfort, in personal experience I’ve had the headset on for 12 hours at once without experiencing any discomfort on my ears, on the top of my head from the headband or felt heavy from the weight of the headset.
Extremely comfortable, extremely light weight.
Perfect wireless connectivity with the options to connect with the included USB or even through Bluetooth.
The power switch on the headset might be one of my favorite features on this headset that I have not seen in another wireless headset. Instead of holding down a power button for a random amount of time, waiting to hear the power down sound effect, you can simply flip a switch from on to off, quickly and easily.
The lifespan on the battery is another impressive feature of the headset given how light weight it is. I’ve used this headset for at least 4 hours a day, every other day, for 2 months and have only had to charge it twice!! When it needs to be charged it charges to full battery very quickly with my headset only requiring about 1-2 hours to fully charge and it can still be used while being charged.
Overall amazing headset, have nothing to complain about, only amazing things to talk about with this headset with all of its perfected features.

I put 5 stars, but really it’s more of a 4.5,
I’ve owned almost every gaming headset, including the Audeze, and as far as sound goes these are great, a tad lacking in the microphone but solid. Even though Logitech branded, I still choose the new Gen 5 Astro a50 and the A50X. However, these are definitely more portable for the simple fact that this has a usb dongle versus the mic amp that the astros come with.
Good comfort, good sound, detachable mic. 2 sets of ear pads and long battery life (something astros lack in)
It's fantastic to hear you're enjoying the sound quality of the PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and comparing it to other high-end headsets like the Audeze and the new Astro A50 series.

Great Headset with Good Upgrades Over Previous Gen

My previous headset was the Pro X Wireless 1 which I believed was a great headset and this is much of the same with some improvements that made me switch.
Pros:
First off, the bass is much stronger out of the box and you can further tune it to your liking.
My favorite feature is the ability to switch between the USB dongle and bluetooth connection with the press of a button. Super convenient (with a small caveat*).
Also a minor upgrade is the ability to rotate the earcups so you can wear them flat around your neck/chest instead of them being uncomfortable to wear there.
The battery life is still great. I use it for up to 12 hours a day sometimes and it never dies.
Headset strap and ear pads are just as comfortable, though I will note that you have to wear them for a bit to really shape to your ears/head. (At least for the memory foam leatherette pads)
Good set of accessories.
Cons:
The equalizer has a more limited range than I would like. It maxes out at 6600Hz despite the headset being able to produce up to 20KHz. This gets annoying for me for certain TV shows where there's a super high pitch in the background noise that I can't tune out through the EQ. (This could be fixed by a future software update).
As for the bluetooth, the caveat is that it sometimes just disconnects during use after automatic pairing. I usually just hold the pairing button down, reconnect, and it's back up. But it can be annoying every so often.
Conclusion:
I definitely would recommend this headset if you're looking for wireless. I think the pros outweigh the cons, but if you aren't as interested in bluetooth then the Pro X Wireless 1's are great as well.

Decent Quality, don't expet louder volume for this price point. The sounds quality is better than my old headphones and the surround sound is more accurate, however I don't know why but it doesnt get tooo loud, yes still loud but not as loud as my old set. very sturdy and great feel to them, takes about 15secs to setup right out of the box and the app is easy to use. Overall great for decent quality gaming audio but not loud enough for when I want music blasting in my ears for homework.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback on the Logitech PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED Headset. We’re glad you enjoy its sturdy build and sound quality, and we appreciate your insights on volume performance!

Solid headset option

I have owned the Logitech Pro X for about 3 years now and decided it was time for an upgrade. I decided on the Pro X 2 Lightspeed.
The headset feels familiar. I wear it for 8+ hours a day at work, longer if I decide to game at night. The sound quality is crisp, No more complaints from my customers about not being able to hear me.
I'm no audiophile, but the sound has been excellent. I feel like there is a setting that I may be missing for now as it seems there is more background noise than with the Pro X.
Comfort level was pretty much the same as the Pro X. I changed out the ear pads for the memory foam option, which can be challenging, but a much more comfortable option than the sweaty leather they put on it from the factory.
The connectivity has been great, and additional options for a 3.5mm audio jack integrated into the dongle is a nice plus if you need to connect that way. Bluetooth audio has been slightly problematic, and I believe the dongle is the way to go.
All in all I beleive this is a solid option in this price range before going to the extreme and spending $500+ on a headset.
Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review of the Logitech PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED Headset! We're glad it’s delivering reliable performance and comfort for both work and play—your insights are truly appreciated.

I’m very happy with these headphones. The sound quality is clear and well-balanced, with good bass and crisp highs. They are comfortable to wear even for long gaming or listening sessions, and the build quality feels solid. The microphone works well and my voice sounds clear. Overall, this is a great product for the price and I would definitely recommend it.

I caught mine at half the retail price on sale. Tremendous value for the battery life. However, it lacks support for dual input at the same time. When comparing the audio to my JBL Quantum One; these can keep up with a lot of EQ tweaking. Out of box they dont have as much bass/kick as them and thats even with JBL EQ lowered on bass. High end starts to fall off as well when listening to music. Premium feel/look with the aluminum and build materials. No ANC, but the noise isolation works as well as my JBL’s which does have ANC. These are comfortable and light in comparison and have no cord which is why I wanted a second option to my ONE’s.
We appreciate your honest feedback. We understand that dual-input support and audio preferences can vary. The PRO X 2 prioritizes low latency and clear communication for competitive gaming. We're always working to improve our products based on user feedback.

Best Headset I've Owned

Great headset! I've owned for a little over a month and have only charged the headset once. It has great battery life, and most importantly, it's really comfortable. I have a bigger size head and this was one the reasons I bought this headset due to numerous reviews saying it's a comfortable headset. The addition of mesh vs leather earpads is really nice, gives you options. Great build quality, feels very sturdy. My one con is mic quality. It does sound make you sound like AM radio by default and for the price it can be better. Luckily, the app lets you change up the mic sound and you can adjust it to be a bit better/tolerable. The sound is incredible. very little distortion and everything sounds really clear in games and great in music. I don't see myself getting an upgrade from this, and if my headset were to break, I would by another one.

Honestly my biggest complaint about anything wireless has been the battery life. This device excels at not only really amazing sound, but also just being reliable.

Well, I’ve tried thousands of dolars of headsets. And this to me is a excellent mix of great sound and good features. It is missing one big one though… and that is the ability to use chat mix. Thats right, its 2023 and logitechs most premium headset doesnt have chatmix channel. Yes you can use discord on pc to adjust volume of friends but chatmix makes it so much easier. If they added that feature it would go from 8/10 to a 9.5. Bass is the best ive ever heard on any headset wired or wireless. And its not loud obnoxious bass its clear and punchy, i really enjoy the sound profile i have setup for it. And that leads me to by far the biggest let downs it has… the mic is below average, and the software is trash. The surround settings in logitech make this great headset sound like trash. But when i use sonar (steelseries software) it sounds much better. Also the EQ bands could use a more open type like other brands (steelseries) battery life is great tho! Also very very comfortable even with glasses. Out of my recent headset testing this is the one i kept and it is replacing my steel series nova pro wired.
