RGB Dream Come True
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech’s G915 TKL, a.k.a “holy grail”, is the elite RGB lightspeed wireless keyboard out on the market to own right now. There are so many things Logitech did right on this keyboard, that outweigh a minor flaw. First, I want to thank the G915 team. They created an inclusive environment by considering everyone’s individual keyboarding needs, by allowing the user an opportunity of choosing from three different switch versions. By having the user choose their switch version, I believe, allows for a better consumer experience. I chose its linear switch model since I believe the keyboarding experience should be as smooth and discreet when late night gaming. But that is the rave about RGB keyboards and why gamers want them, it is ALL about the customization, and how organically your mind can connect with your hands to have the best consistent gaming experience. First Impression When I took it out of the box it was love at first sight. Love the compact size and weight of the keyboard. Made with durable aluminum alloy, the keyboard’s sleek and thin profile layout screams for sophistication points. The Low-Profile switches allow for an extremely comfortable worry free finger stroke follow thru. Half the standard size hugh? Wow, I am feeling spoiled. The volume wheel did not experience a bump, effective ergonomic control. The Inside Package I must say the battery life on this thing is phenom! I charged it once like six days ago. My only question is, why did they stick with older technology Micro USB data charging and not upgrade it with a USB Type C? With cutting edge technology available nowadays, a quicker method of charging would have been nice. Curious that is all. Logitech’s G HUB software has evolved in allowing one to choose from a plethora of downloadable Lightsync game profiles shared by the community or by choosing Logitech’s own presets, overall a great time management option. I suggest you start here to get you started in your animation design, as I did not have an imaginative mindset of creating something completely new during my initial time with the G915 TKL. This keyboard stands in a league of its own since every key is programable. I have another RGB keyboard, and that one is programmed by sections, not by individual keys. The software did not automatically onboard my game choices from my pc, I had to add them manually. Not a big deal. The speed differential was not noticed when switching from Bluetooth to the Lightspeed USB. I never did lose integrity in my accuracy or gaming speed. This is what RGB is all about. Final Feedback The G915 TKL team has taken the keyboard and reinvented it in many ways. They began with an aesthetic sophistication in its lightweight and compact design and developed it from there. I am very much impressed with its high-performance battery life and comfortable Low-Profile linear switches. The accuracy on my keystroke delivery was matchless with LIGHTSPEED USB, and did not see any speed differential with Bluetooth. Their G HUB software platform is user friendly and extensive, it made it easy to program F-keys for advantage game play and the opportunity to LIGHTSYNC each individual key with my own imaginative creation or borrowed community download. I guess I can say, “I had my RGB dream come true. Will you?”

Nice keyboard with flimsy non replaceable keycaps
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Flimsy, easily breakable keycaps. Logitech does not sell replacement keycaps in case one breaks after warranty period. Likes to randomly disconnect from G Hub software. Otherwise a nice keyboard.

Impressive!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only had this for a short time, but I must admit I am impressed with it. Logitech just seems to have gotten everything right with this gaming keyboard (well, for my use anyways ;-) ). The build quality is outstanding. Very solid and well built feel. The size is rather amazing for a gaming board. It is very thin and not to compact, but just right. The RGB lighting is very customizable with the Logitech software that you will need to download. A side note on the software: It is also used for the Logitech Pro Wireless mouse. Nice to have a one stop shop for both the mouse & keyboard. The overall level of customization that you can do with the lights and the keys is awesome. Keep in mind that this is a tenkeyless board. Not an issue for most gamers, but something to keep in mind if you use it for non-gaming. I love the media controls. The lightspeed & Bluetooth buttons are easily found. The location for the battery & caps lock light are right at the top center. I like that! Now as far as performance goes, so far so good! I personally like the clickyness of the keys. Not to much and yet not to light, either. My previous keyboard had to much play in the keys for my liking. The responsiveness when used both as a wired or Bluetooth connected keyboard is very good. Wireless gaming keyboards have come a long ways in responsiveness. So much so that it shouldn't even be a factor in your buying decision when it comes to this board. So far the battery life seems to be great (rated for 40 hours of game play) but again, haven't had it that long. I will most likely use it wired most of the time. I love that it has a single USB cord. My last couple of gaming keyboards took up two USB slots. Nice to see that as a thing of the past. Overall I am really liking this keyboard. It is solid and feels like a quality keyboard. For myself, I have no complaints. The only thing I could maybe see being an issue for some users is the size. If you have big hands or clumsy fingers, this might not be for you. Beyond that it is pretty much perfect!

Cheap Material
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this keyboard for about 6 months. I game daily. The WASD keys, and some of the number keys are worn down already. For the cost of this keyboard, it seems cheap in material. I have owned other gaming keyboards, and have never seen the keys worn down like this.

A great addition to my wireless gaming
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My preference for gaming is directly on my laptop. It is a gaming system so all components fit my needs. But sometimes I want to go big screen, and do it seamlessly without too much sacrifice in game play. This keyboard was the last piece I needed. I simply connect the HDMI/stream, grab the keyboard and mouse and I am up and running on my TV. First the claim of no lag, check. The performance is just as good as my actual laptop on either dongle or Bluetooth. The keyboard is thin, really thin. At first I thought it would be flimsy, but the materials are solid. It doesn't perform like a cheap board nor does it feel like one. I have a G mouse and charge pad already, so I am no stranger to G HUB software. The keyboard integrated instantly and fit right in with my preexisting setup. Lights all synced and pretty. Oddly, my favorite feature in the volume roller. Changing volume can be a nuisance at times. My headset has a separate volume control so it is less of problem now, but quickly hitting the roller when something isn't mixed right feels more efficient. So far, I have no complaints. The range, battery, build and performance have exceeded my expectations so I won't bother hunting for a flaw. My gaming is now wireless, and judging through playing, you'd never know the difference.

Outstanding little mechanical keyboard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a small footprint keyboard but packed with lots of features. It is best used for what it is intended... gaming. I have the G110 which is larger and wired keyboard from Logitech. What I love is the G915 TKL is the small size and nice feel of the keys (soft and smooth almost like a laptop). There's no noticeable difference in response from my wired one and the G915 TKL. It is a high quality build, not plastic like other gaming keyboards. It is a bit heavy probably due to the battery and the metal case. The roller is nice and convenient to change the volume. There's four levels of lighting but I like the brightest with changing colors. The battery last long, really long time... over two weeks now with one time charge on a daily use of at least 3 hours.

A high-end wireless gaming keyboard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There was a time when no serious gamer would use wireless input devices. Logitech’s lightspeed wireless tech with little to no input lag makes choosing wireless peripherals a much easier choice for the modern gamer. Mechanical keyboards have been very popular in the past few years and the latest trend is the TKL or Ten Key-Less style the leaves off the number pad in the right side of the keyboard for a smaller footprint. Features: - Lightspeed wireless tech for almost zero noticeable input lag - Bluetooth support - Customizable RGB illumination - Dual Angle Adjustment - Rechargeable battery - Small Footprint PROS: - Very small footprint with smooth round edges - Good battery life IF you aren’t going nuts with the illumination on the keys. I got somewhere around 200 hours of wireless run time with all keys at 0 brightness and only about 35 hours with all keys at full brightness. Somewhere in between will get you around 100 hours per charge - There's a pocket for the USB receiver right on the back of the keyboard. To be fair, this is a relatively common feature on wireless keyboards but it’s clearly labeled and VERY easy to access which is a nice touch - Power switch moved to the top edge of the keyboard. This is way better than a switch on the bottom of the keyboard. This way you can turn it off without lifting the keyboard off the desk potentially getting dirt/oil on the brushed aluminum finish. - RGB Illumination. It’s just so cool. It’s GREAT to download/create custom game profiles so that only the buttons that are used in the game are lit and can even be color coded. CONS: - Pricey. It’s a very good keyboard but at its price range, you have to be VERY happy with all the pros or it may not feel like a bargain - The volume wheel feels cheap. The volume wheel on my old Gaming Keyboard felt great. It didn’t have a clicky feel to it but there was SOME resistance that made if feel like I had control over the volume. The wheel on the 915 has NO resistance and many times will continue to spin after I release my finger from it - Micro-USB charging port. For upper price range the port should be USB-C. Charges faster and you never have the check the orientation of the cable. - Brushed aluminum finish. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times. STOP WITH THE BRUSHED ALLUMINUM FINISH! It is a dirt and oil magnet and since the keyboard is something that you are constantly touching, it always looks splotchy. - Key Caps move around a bit. You can wiggle the key caps JUST a bit more than I would expect on a keyboard at this price point. They can be replaced, but they are not standardized so it could get pricey. Conclusion: It’s a really good keyboard if you like this style. It’s got a very small footprint, it’s very low profile with several angle adjustment options. The battery life is solid, the RGB illumination options are plentiful, and there is no input lag. If you are a gamer and you already have some of the other more meaningful upgrades like an ultrawide monitor, great graphics card, SSD, and you are looking for a really nice low profile RGB wireless keyboard, this is one of the best.

Best keyboard I've ever owned in over 30 years.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the low profile and the switch quality. It's nice and understated with brushed aluminum, and looks great. The RGB options are all pretty cool, but it's not so flashy it looks like a disco on your desk like some RGB options tend to be. Worked like a charm right out of the box. I charge it maybe once a week. One 2-ish hour charge is over 40+ hours. No issue with dropped connection/input lag. While pricey, I have zero regrets. This thing is very high quality, and the best keyboard I've ever owned.

Posted .Hi sorry to see you're having some design related issues with your G915 TKL keyboard. I have one that I am currently using to type this response and when I don't have the feet in use, the keyboard lays flat and doesn't move unless I pick it up. It could be that the feet on your keyboard isn't laying flush on the backside like it should. Great build & WiFi
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard feels very well built, keys are highly responsive and the wireless functionality is flawless. I have the linear switches and they Kind of feel like they have sand in the switch and you don’t get a good click at the bottom to know you have pressed the key. However, they do actuate quickly. If I was making the choice today, I would choose the clicks switches instead of the linear. I am giving it 4 stars because it is a good keyboard, but is kind of pricey.

Well Built Linear Action Gaming Keyboard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is a darn tank. There I said it. This model seems more specifically aimed at someone who's gaming from a laptop or has limited desk space. I had no idea I missed the number pad until I started using this keyboard. The scroll wheel/scroll bar that is programmable is quite useful and mounted right on the top edge of the keyboard, right where you'd want it to be. Options for wired and wireless are awesome, and I tried it in both modes with absolutely no lag. The body of the keyboard is aluminum, and well built. I also love the backlights. You almost HAVE to have the Logitech software to use the advanced features, but it's worth it. Only one issue caused me to hold back that 5th star on this keyboard, and that's the action of the linear switch. It feels like Logitech put their nicest linear switch in this keyboard, but that also means it's has a little bit of a soft landing. Not a lot, but if you're one who likes to melee mash your keys, you'll find it slightly unsatisfying. I'm definitely not a mechanical switch guy and I hate the clicks, so I've used a number of linear switch boards. I would recommend if you want a good gaming keyboard with nice response times and wireless. The option to not have a number pad is great for those that are desk space challenged.

Wireless gaming keyboards are back on the table
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the longest time, I have resisted buying wireless keyboards for gaming. I've gone through quite a few sets of non-gaming wireless keyboards over the years, both bluetooth and USB dongle, ultimately relegating them to living room tv pc duty. Between battery replacements, bad signals causing missed keystrokes or lag, and no mechanical switch options, there was really no positive statement I could write about them other than the wireless aspect. These days, options are vastly improved, and Logitech's G915 TKL Lightspeed Wireless keyboard has changed my mind as to how capable a wireless gaming keyboard can be. The brushed aluminum and almost all black design is pretty sleek, like a stealth bomber. The heft on this baby is really something, giving it a premium feel but also increasing stability so it doesn’t slide around in the heat of an online match. The keycaps have printed legends only for the extra symbols for the number keys and other keys with traditionally alternate uses, like the quote/double key or the semi-colon/colon key. The rest of the key caps feature transparent legends for the RGB lighting. With the lights off to conserve battery power, most keys will look as if they are all black, which could a nightmare for non-touch typists. I really dig the fact that the F-keys are all single function, and media controls (play, pause, mute) have dedicated buttons instead of using the Fn button to change the function of the F-keys. The zero-friction volume control shuttle is extremely sensitive, responding to the barest touch. A downward flick of the finger and I go from 100% to 20% volume, though flicking up in the opposite direction only increases about 20% per swipe. Since the wheel is in the upper right corner of the keyboard, my wired mouse sometimes rubs against the wheel, inadvertently lowering the volume. This TKL variant of the G915 model comes without the numeric keypad found to the right of the arrow keys (known to keyboard enthusiasts as the 10-key), which is becoming more and more popular with the mech keyboard crowd. Not having the number pad means that you don't have to hold your arms as far apart to reach your mouse, allowing for less travel when switching your right hand between the mouse and keyboard. For gamers, this reduction in travel distance could give that extra edge you need to blast an opponent or hit that health potion key so you don't get creamed by that huge monster you are tanking. Those missing the number pad but liking the 10-keyless layout can always pick up a USB number pad to compliment the keyboard, I have mine to the right of my mouse. This keyboard has multiple connection options. In addition to bluetooth, which can be laggy, Logitech offers its proprietary "Lightspeed" dongle, which plugs into a traditional USB slot (which means you'll need a separate adapter if you want to use this type of connection on a laptop that only has USB-C). I was delighted to find that the Lightspeed connection is blazing fast, and lag was non-existent. There is also the ability to plug the keyboard in via USB, so you can charge the built-in battery while you use the keyboard, which is a feature that not a lot of wireless keyboards have. I plugged in my go-to gaming keyboard via USB to do a side by side comparison. While it is also a 10-keyless board, it has traditional Cherry MX brown switches, vs the low profile Logitech GL linear switches (which looks to be a rebranded Kailh Choc Red, still bearing the word “Kailh” on the actual switch but without the logo). I pulled up a keypress/scan rate timer and found that my shortest time between keypresses was almost 20ms lower on average with the Logitech G915 TKL vs the full height keyboard. A typing speed test showed a boost from around 80 words per minute to well over 95, with no drop in accuracy. Additionally, the linear switches are much, much quieter, even when bottoming out while typing, vs the Cherry MX’s. This is to be expected, since the Cherry MX Brown’s are tactile switches, but I wasn’t expecting to be able to spam keys almost 33% faster. It will take a little adjustment period to get used to linears, coming from tactiles, as I have a resting habit of slightly pushing in keys, just before the bump. Doing this on a linear switch with such a low activation force (i.e. the force necessary to get the switch to register a keypress) results in a lot of accidental keystrokes. The change also makes typing feel “squishy” without the little bumps. If this is a dealbreaker, then no worries because Logitech also has options for clicky and tactile switches for this model keyboard. I just went with a linear this time around because I was curious to try that style vs the tactiles, and because my gaming setup is in my bedroom so I wanted a quieter option for the late night gaming sessions to minimize the annoyance to my wife. She could immediately tell the difference in sound, much quieter despite a slight increase in the rate of tapping. “Instead of ‘CLICKA-CLICKA-CLICKA CLICK’, it goes ‘tappitytappitytappitytaptaptap’!” were her exact words. Playing an FPS like Overwatch did take some getting used to with this rig, since being accustomed to a full height keyboard, holding down the W or E key for extended periods of time felt wonky due to muscle memory. To unlock the full potential of this keyboard, including custom keyboard layouts and color options, the Logitech G HUB software, the latest iteration of their customization software, is required. From there, the amount of customization that you can do is, for lack of a better term, overwhelming. Custom profiles allow you to set up macros, reassign the mapping of nearly every single key, and even assign extra hotkeys to launch whatever system function or application you can think of. You can register profiles for different program, with different macros for each, and easily swap between keysets. Even the game mode button, which prevents you from accidentally hitting the Windows key and knocking you out of your full-screened game to bring up the start menu, can also be customized to lock out additional keys. The color options are nearly limitless, allowing each key to be a different color, change colors in trippy seizure-inducing patterns, and even synching to your audio. To save space, the F-keys double as the macro buttons, which for me is not a problem but could be an issue for those interested in a more “full featured” keyboard. The only downside to this keyboard would be for those interested in replacing the keycaps with custom sets, as there aren’t too many manufacturers doing Kailh low profile caps (especially with non-standard layouts), so those looking for their end game but need a full custom caps to feel complete can move along. For the rest, this keeb checks off everything I’m looking for in a 10-keyless board: RGB, killer battery life, solid connectivity, macro features, and dedicated media controls, all in a debonair, compact package.

After 2 weeks of solid use, we have a winner for g
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 2 full weeks with the Logitech G915 TKL Lightspeed Wireless RGB Mechanical Gaming GL Linear Switch Keyboard, I can say it does perform very well and I noticed an improvement over my old gaming keyboard. The best feature is simply the keys of the board itself. The way the keys feel and press are positive and smooth. The speed wirelessly is also spot on, zero lag, just make sure you keep it charged. The biggest feature is per game key settings, that is a huge selling point for me personally, especially with FPS or Racing games. Being able to setup the keys for my style and not what a munfacturer thinks is the best honestly. The color system works with the latest update of Logitech's software. I also have the Lightspeed mouse and I can easily sync them up to the color settings I want. The entire Logitech eco system is coming together great in my opinion. Only reason for 4 stars is honestly no keypad. Logitech could have easily added the keypad so it could be a daily keyboard and I know for manufacturing and size, it could have been added for penny's to broaden their sales possibilities.

How thin you like your gaming keyboard sir?
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never have I seen something like this product ever before, The thinness and the quality combined into one elegant package have made the G915 one of my favorite wireless gaming keyboards. I will agree here that the best thing about this keyboard is the fact that it's designed so well from Logitech. Something I can't believe they made. The design is wonderful as the G915 is light and easy to pick up and move around with ease. Keys feel fantastic to type on with each stroke and travel distance from the base of the keyboard is fine. In any case, the aluminum surrounding feels premium with your gaming setup. I very much enjoy the aesthetic of the G915 because no longer gaming products look like a huge chunk of black plastic. I also choose tenkeyless GL linear as I needed a keyboard with less sound when typing and less space when using; So far I'm extremely happy with it. Using the lightspeed mode on a living room PC and well enough it worked. Wireless (USB dongle / Lightspeed) is as good as it always been so no issues with distance from the keyboard. Battery life was insane going almost 40 hours it just been a few days since I charged it but found that Bluetooth (which is on this device) didn't hold up as long as a direct connection with lightsync. Media keys are also on the keyboard; These are big and noticeable is great when using Spotify while multitasking and a volume rocker. Lightsync RGB colors are gorgeous to the eyes and but you can customize even more with the "GHUB" software which always worked fine. Millions of color options you can play around with but GHUB does need to improve as many other manufactures give you many ways to use the keyboard outside of macros and colors. Still, the colors get bright and impressive for something wireless. There are plenty of macro options for the keyboard for you to go into. You are probably wondering what made this keyboard so special over the rest out there? And my answer to that is: This is thin and compact. If you are not interested in a thin and compact gaming keyboard then this isn't for you. but there are MANY situations you may find this keyboard useful especially if you want a streamline desktop setup. The keyboard isn't that much better over Logitech's other G series that came out recently, but G915 has a market for those who want to travel as light as possible without sacrificing their performance. I think this is a market that would appreciate this keyboard. Overall it's just good. I feel at this point if Logitech keeps on this path they also will overtake the gaming market with products like this.

Fantastic Keyboard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an absolutely fantastic keyboard. Right from the get go, you can tell you are getting a premium product with this keyboard. It comes packaged very nicely, exactly what you would expect at this price point. From the moment you take it out of the box, you can see and feel that this is a high quality keyboard. It's got a nice hefty feel to it, and everything just feels very well constructed. Hooking it up to your computer is rather straightforward. You can just plug it in using the supplied USB cable, use the supplied wireless dongle to connect via "LightSpeed", or you could use bluetooth. It's nice to have these different options. For my testing, I opted for wired connectivity. After connecting it up, you also need to download the Logitech G Hub software to get full use of all the features that this keyboard provides. Once again, this is a pretty straightforward process. Just download the software, and it automatically detects your keyboard. The software itself is pretty simple to use, and you can do things like customize the color lighting in many different ways, and also create custom macros for different games. All pretty standard stuff for a gaming keyboard. It even has a "game mode" which disables keys like the Windows key that you may not want to accidentally hit during a game. Overall very nice integration with the keyboard. The feel of the keyboard is great. The keys have just the right amount of feedback and feel great while typing. Even the volume wheel has a premium feel to it, and is surprisingly satisfying to use. Not something I was expecting. I'll be honest, I didn't really know what to expect from such a high priced keyboard, but after using it for a while now, I am very impressed. This will for sure become my daily use keyboard. In conclusion, everything about this keyboard is just a joy to use. It feels great to type on. The gaming features are spot on. And the software and setup are simple and straightforward, and give you a great amount of customization options. You will not be disappointed if you get the chance to try this keyboard.

great small keyboard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Man, I love and enjoy this keyboard. I have the G915 with the GL clicky keys. what I loved is that I was able to just plug this into the same cord. its a micro usb cord so that can be a con. I don't mind the cord type. but this day and age would have been great to see a usb c now. this keyboard is 20$ less the the full sized keyboard. I prefer this keyboard as it pretty much does the same thing the full size does. there are a couple differences. no 10 key on the side. and there are no G keys that are on the left side. I believe those are to do micros. there are no M keys as well at the top. however there are M keys within the F1-F4 keys. and if you do like to set up macros, you still can thru the Logitech G Hub program. I love RGB lighting myself. its fun, looks great etc. and the fact that you can also disable if don't like. so its always a win win for me. this particular model with the linear keys I love. its a lot quieter as you don't have the clicking noise that the other GL keys have. its very responsive as well. as soon as I press the keys, it activates. my other keyboards have a slight play to them. for me I like that. others might like the hearing or feel when the key activates. I biggest reason for wanting this keyboard, outside the Linear keys, was the size. I don't have a huge space for my keyboard and mouse, so taking away the 10 key gives that extra space. I don't use the 10 key or the Gkeys that the full size keyboard has, other then when I first start my PC up. so for me, I am not missing those, but enjoying the extra space. overall love it. if your like me, don't have a lot of space for keyboard and mouse, and want a quieter keyboard, this is a great choice. price is a bit steap, but you are getting a great gaming keyboard that you can use wireless with Bluetooth or Logitech lighspeed.

Sweet wireless gaming setup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I generally steer away from wireless for gaming just because of the perceived notion of latency but this keyboard demonstrates I shouldn't worry so much. Awesome low profile keys combined with a linear press makes for really smooth typing. Took a couple typing tests to compare and I had less mistypes with this keyboard. Gaming felt as crisp as normal. For anyone working from home this is the perfect go-between from work hours and gaming hours.
