--- SETUP --- The Logitech Racing Wheel and Pedals for Xbox One is simple to set up. There is a permanently attached USB cable to the steering wheel but all others connect to the wheel. Under the wheel base, there is a nice oval-shaped groove to allow you to coil the cables in a neat way so that you only have the length that you need. You will need an electrical outlet nearby to complete the setup. The wheel itself has hooks that are easy to pull up and down with some cleverly hidden knobs that secure the wheel to any flat surface . --- FEATURES --- The main features of this steering wheel is that it provides force feedback when playing driving games, full 270 degree wheel rotation, pressure sensitive pedals, and a pedal plate with clutch step. There is a connector under the base to add a clutch stick add on, but it is not included in this unit. Additionally, this wheel works on both Xbox and PC! --- PERFORMANCE --- Having this peripheral for Xbox is a dream come true. Arguably, the best racing games are on Xbox and with Xbox Game Pass, you have a lot of variety to choose from to enjoy your steering wheel. I tested this wheel with the following games: Xbox 1: Forza Horizon 4, Formula 1 2019, Dirt 2.0, Dirt 4. Xbox 360: Split/Second. At first, the wheel didn’t work with Forza, but then I realized that was because I had the game opened before I finished plugging everything in. A quick closing and reopening of the game made the wheel work, and I haven’t had an issue since. The wheel automatically aligns itself, so be careful not to put your hand through the openings of the wheel. After it aligns, you can begin driving. It is possible to fully control all menus with the steering wheel itself. The peripheral feels solidly built, sturdy, and won’t get loose when properly installed. --- EXPECTATIONS --- I have tried various wheels in the past and was always disappointed. This wheel is different. The wheel gives you force feedback. What this means is that, if you lose control in the game, the wheel will turn the way you’d expect it to turn in real life and go against where you want it to go. Most of the games I tried have a viewing mode where you can see virtual hands on a steering wheel and they sync very well with your real hands. Again, another viewing mode removes the virtual steering wheel and just allows you to see the dashboard and that feels like a more realistic approach to race gaming. In all games, there is a learning curve. The steering will feel natural if you’ve ever driven a real vehicle. My non-gaming wife was able to drive across the country roads in Forza Horizon and was just enjoying the views. However, since the pedals are pressure sensitive, you need to get used to how much to step on the break and not just slam it. The brake pedals provide a nice pushback against your foot and the gas pedal does feel like a real pedal. I played with the pedals on a carpet, so it didn’t move much when I was stepping on it. I imagine that you might want to place it over a non slip mat if you plan on using it in a non-carpeted area. When using the wheel in racing, I initially placed lower than I was used to. The more races I played, however, the higher I began moving up in rank. All races, even if I lost, were more fun to experience in this manner. I was pleasantly surprised that the wheel worked with backwards compatibility games on Xbox One X. I tried Split/Second, an arcade-y racing game from Disney Interactive. It is surprisingly just as fun playing arcade style racing games compared to simulation racing. The only caveat is that between cutscenes, the wheel would rumble like crazy. Since it’s not necessarily intended for older gen games, that’s not something to drop the rating for. --- VALUE --- This is a great racing wheel and the price of the unit is a great investment when purchasing it on the Xbox because Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has already publicly stated that all Xbox One X peripherals will be forward compatible. That means that when the Xbox Series X or S come out, you are already set to future racing games, extending the value of your purchase. --- APPROVAL --- For racing enthusiasts, this is what you want to be playing with. Since it works on Xbox and PC, both of which have Game Pass on them, you will have a variety of racing games to choose from and endless hours of fun.

I was looking for a racing wheel with pedals for Xbox one and got the Logitech racing wheel with pedals. It came with excellent packing and included with Logitech G923 Racing Wheel for Xbox One and PC, Pedals, Power supply, and Owner's manual. Setup is quick and easy with the instruction sheet. I have connected all the cables to the wheel and connected the USB cable from the steering wheel to Xbox one. The wheel and pedals are built with excellent quality. Without any additional setup, Xbox one recognized the wheel. I have played various car games like Forza Horizon 4 and 7. It took some time to get adjusted with the wheel and pedal as I was using only Xbox controllers until now. The gaming experience with this device is mind-blowing. I felt like driving a sports car on racing. I have placed the pedal on the carpet instead of the hardwood floor to avoid any movement or scratches on the hardwood floor. It stayed really well on the carpet and did not move at all. The wheel controller has a much better response than the regular Xbox controller. My kids are using this racing wheel and pedals more than Xbox controllers now. Logitech - G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals is a must-have item for Xbox one with features like force feedback, refreshed Logitech G design with the brushed metal wheel, hand-stitched leather wheel cover, and polished metal pedals.

Excellent and Well Built Racing Wheel

I don't have many bad things to say about the G923. Both the wheel and pedals are extremely well built and it’s a joy to use in racing games. The Trueforce feedback system is great, though severely lacking in games that support it right now. I don’t have a point of reference to compare it to except for the Xbox 360 wheel I used years ago, but if you’re passionate about racing I can’t think of any reason you’d be unhappy with this wheel. The contents of the box are pretty simple. You get the wheel, the pedals, and a power supply to run it all. The first thing I noticed is how well everything is built. The wheel has a good size and weight to it right off the bat and the leather (synthetic I believe) material wrapped around it is very high quality. The pedals feel equally solid. Everything connects at the bottom of the wheel and Logitech includes some helpful cable management to take care of excess cabling. The built-in clamps felt pretty solid, but I opted to also utilize the threaded mounting points and bought a wheel stand from GT Omega. The USB cable does feel a tad short; it reaches my Xbox and PC from the couch, but just barely. There is a spot near the USB connection that breaks away and looks like it’s meant to be used for extension cables, but one was not included in the box and I didn’t see any options for buying one yet. Using the wheel I primarily played Forza Horizon 4, though I did briefly play Grid to check out the Trueforce feedback system. The standard force feedback is good, but Trueforce feels like a next-level improvement with the amount of detail that it transmits. It’s brand new, so it’s somewhat understandable that only a few games support it, but I do really hope that list grows quickly because I’d love to take advantage of it in more games. The level of immersion that a wheel in general adds to the racing experience can’t be understated and the G923 has been solid and consistent over the last 3 or 4 days I’ve used it. I actually found it a bit challenging to use at first compared to a controller, but that quickly went away as I became more acquainted with using it. I really like the resistance on the brake pedal and it helped me apply it in a much more nuanced way than with other wheels I’ve used where it just goes straight to the floor. In Forza Horizon 4 the dial wheel and +/- buttons didn’t seem to have a function, but I’m sure that’s something you could map out on PC. Speaking of PC, I did have a problem getting the games I tried to recognize my wheel and ended up having to map all the functions manually, which wasn’t ideal. I’m going to chalk that up to it just being so new that games just don’t recognize it yet. I didn’t delve too far into the G Hub software, but from what I could you can customize just about anything on this wheel from the operating range to the sensitivity and more. With a price that’s more that’s more than most consoles, it’s certainly not a casual purchase, but if it's an experience you really want I don’t think you’ll regret it. You could save a bit and go with the G920 or G29 instead, but I would recommend trying Trueforce if you can because it does feel like something truly unique. It’s a tough sell though when only a few games support it right now. Hopefully that changes in the future and hopefully that future is soon.

Logitech is no doubt is the leading name in making gaming accessories such as racing wheels and force shifter. This model looks identical to the G920 model but the feedback system which is called "TrueForce" is significantly improved over the older model. What does that mean is every move or noise coming out of the games during racing you would feel in the vibration that TrueForce feedback generates. It is realistic as I play Horizon and I feel in real racing as I'm fully engaged in every noise/ behavior the engine makes such as pushing gas pedal or hit the brake. Quality speaking, the wheel is well-built and made of nice stitched leather. This accessory works perfectly and provides a real and fun racing experience. Pros: Easy setup, premium quality, controls on wheels are handy, feedback is responsive, sensitivity is customizable vis G HUB program which is a good addition to have. Cons: None

I've been wanting a good racing wheel for my PC and Xbox One for a long time as I haven't had one since the Xbox 360 days. When the Logitech G923 first arrived I was amazed how much smaller the box was. I was a little concerned in fact but after opening it all up everything was there and it was just packed tighter. Setting it up was easy, comparatively to actually setting up the racing stand anyways. I had it all mounted and ready to go in about 20 minutes. Note that the USB cable is fairly long, about 6 feet I think, but I had to get an extender because it was too tight of a stretch for me so may want to consider picking one of those up if you're not right by your PC. I installed the G Hub software from Logitech and the wheel was recognized after a fast reboot. Getting it up and running with Grid on the PC was a breeze, I had to do absolutely nothing other than go into the game and start racing. Same for Forza Horizon 4 on the PC. However Forza Motosport 7 wouldn't, and still does not, recognize the wheel. Other than that though other games like Wreckfest did recognize it without issue. Assetto Corsa Competizione recognized everything except the acceleration but one quick button assignment fixed that. The force feedback Trueforce style is really pretty amazing in Grid (one of the few games that work with it right now) and is definitely one step closer to feeling you are truly controlling a car. Otherwise the force feedback in regular games is really good and strong on the PC. Moving over to the Xbox One again Grid recognized the wheel right away but several of us using it had problems with oversteer and had to mess around with the settings to get it more manageable. We all agreed the control was better on the PC. Playing Forza Horizons 4 on the Xbox One was ok but again Forza Motorsport 7 didn't like the wheel. There seems to be something about that game that doesn't like the wheel. I even tried other wheels that are similiar such as G920 and G29 to no avail. I'm not going to worry about it too much as a new Forza Motorsport game is coming soon anyways but be aware. I will say others have gotten it working so not sure why it won't work for me. The actual wheel and pedals are very high quality, the wheel feels like a real racing wheel and like I said the force feedback is strong and precise. The pedals are a really good, strong base. I cannot say how they work on carpet as mine are mounted on a racing stand (which I would highly recommend). All in all, my foster child and all of my friends couldn't get enough of playing with this wheel. I do wish we had a shifter we could buy for it but it's not out yet (and the G920 shifter does NOT work per an email from Logitech..) I had to practically tear them away from the wheel so that I could race and I think that says it all. I know a lot of folks have strong opinions on wheels for their system but I waste no time here in saying this wheel is amazing and I'd highly recommend it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND A+ !!!!!!!

The Logitech G923 is an excellent mid-range racing wheel that brings solid build quality, immersive force feedback, and a decent pedal set, making it a great option for sim racers looking for a high-quality experience without breaking the bank. Design & Build Quality The G923 retains the premium, sturdy design of its predecessors (the G29 and G920), featuring a hand-stitched leather-wrapped wheel, solid metal paddle shifters, and a durable pedal set. The buttons and dials are well-placed, offering easy access to in-game controls. While it doesn’t have the premium feel of direct-drive wheels, it’s still a well-built and long-lasting product. TrueForce Force Feedback One of the biggest selling points of the G923 is TrueForce, a new force feedback system that enhances immersion by offering more detailed vibrations and better road feel. While it works well in supported games like iRacing, Gran Turismo 7, and Assetto Corsa Competizione, the difference compared to older models isn’t game-changing—especially for those upgrading from a G29 or G920. Pedal Set The included pedal set features a progressive brake pedal, which feels more realistic compared to the previous models. It provides better resistance, mimicking real braking pressure. However, the throttle and clutch pedals remain fairly standard, and some users may still want to upgrade to a load-cell brake pedal for even more precision. Compatibility & Software The G923 is compatible with PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, but you’ll need to buy the correct version for your console (PS or Xbox). On PC, it works seamlessly with games like F1 23, Dirt Rally 2.0, and Forza Horizon 5. The G Hub software allows you to fine-tune settings, but its interface can sometimes be a bit clunky. Pros & Cons ✅ Pros: • Excellent build quality and comfortable design • TrueForce adds extra realism (in supported games) • Strong and smooth force feedback • Solid pedal set with a progressive brake • Compatible with PC and consoles ❌ Cons: • TrueForce support is limited to certain games • Pedals could be better, especially the throttle and clutch • Not a huge upgrade over the G29/G920 for casual users • No quick-release system for swapping wheels Final Verdict The Logitech G923 is a great choice for casual and mid-level sim racers who want a quality force feedback wheel with solid performance. While TrueForce is a nice addition, it isn’t a must-have feature unless you play supported games. If you already own a G29 or G920, the upgrade isn’t necessary unless you want the slightly improved brake pedal and force feedback. However, if you’re new to sim racing or upgrading from a cheaper wheel, the G923 is an excellent starting point. Rating: 8.5/10 – A solid racing wheel with good force feedback, but TrueForce isn’t a game-changer.

Excellent Mid-range Wheel Kit for PC/Xbox

I am an avid and somewhat competitive player of the F1 series on PC where I use a Formula 1 style wheel and pedal system from a competing brand with a Playseat cockpit. I’m also a big fan of the Forza series and wanted to try out the new Logitech both to have a backup for my F1 PC and an option for the Xbox if needed. I’ve heard great things about the predecessor to this model, the G920, but have never owned a Logitech wheel. Out of the box the thing looks and feels great with a leather wrapped steering wheel, large metal paddle shifters, and a lot of buttons. There is a shiny blue strip at the top of the wheel to help you find the center point and new for this model RPM LEDs in the very center. If I had one complaint about the design of the wheel, it is that these RPM LEDs are very small and easy to ignore. My F1 wheel has much larger and brighter LEDs that I do actually use when learning a new car (at some point you learn when to shift without looking at the lights). The pedals are really nice as they are quite heavy and include a “carpet grip” that flips out to keep them from moving. I was indeed on carpet and never had a problem with the pedals pushing away from me, which is great. Additionally, the brake pedal is progressive which gives it some resistance and makes it more akin to an actual brake pedal in a car. Both the steering wheel and pedals come with holes for mounting bolts if you want to attach to a racing cockpit. So of course, the first thing I fired up is F1 2020 and overall it was a great experience. First off, these races get pretty intense and I was not doing anything less aggressive than I normally do and it never came off my desk with the included clamps. It took me a while to get into a groove but once I did I found I was only about a second-to-two off from my best lap times which I can certainly say is not the hardware but from not playing the game since it came out nearly two months ago. This was the only game I have that supports the new TrueForce feature and while yes, I could feel kerbs as I went over them or the understeer into the corners it wasn’t any more immersive than what I’m used to and certainly a bit "rough around the edges". Don’t get me wrong, as at this price point the G923’s force feedback is actually very good just not as smooth as what I’m used to. However, I'm obviously comparing it to the kit I typically play on which is twice the cost. If this is your first wheel or an upgrade from an older or budget wheel I think you will be quite satisfied. Next up was Forza Horizon 4 on PC where I was really hoping to spend a few quality hours in a game that not only have I not played in a while but also only with a controller. However, I was terrible with it. I had trouble keeping the car on the road. I played around with some of the in-game settings such as steering dead zones and linearity hoping it was not just me but to no avail. Disappointed with myself, I then had the bright idea to try it on Xbox, but unfortunately, I was just as bad there. After an hour or so I got a little better and was able to keep the car on the road but I wasn’t near as fast as I typically can be with just a gamepad. It's quite possible that I'm just one of those guys that can really only use a wheel for sims and not arcade racers. I then went looking for other games to try in my library. Had nothing else on Xbox One but found a game on my PC I only played a few times called American Truck Simulator. This is where this wheel really impressed me. This was a game I wasn’t used to playing with a high-end wheel nor did it seem as if I was driving-on-ice like in Forza. It was just right. I spent my entire Sunday playing this game on the G923 and it was absolutely awesome. I remember when I tried the game in the past with just a controller I had a hard time backing trailers into their unloading zones or keeping these massive vehicles inside of their lane at 70 mph on the interstate. Not anymore, by the end of the day it was like I’ve had a CDL my whole life. The force feedback here also seemed appropriate. It was never too much or distracting at all. I actually turned it off at one point and then it just felt weird, almost lifeless without it. Really, who needs to go 200mph? Move over F1 and Forza, it’s time to go big and slow. Pros: Excellent design and build quality Lots and lots of buttons Mounting Points for Cockpits Optional Shifter Accessory Available Carpet Grip for Pedals Full 900 degrees of steering Many supported games Cons: Force Feedback can hit or miss depending on game support New wheel means some custom button mapping may be required Overall, I really like this wheel and recommend it but ultimately the experience is going to depend on how well the game support is. The good news is there is a lot of games on the supported list that I didn’t have a chance to try.

This is a good quality steering wheel and pedal combo. I am using it for American/Euro truck simulator and Forza Horizon 5. It makes driving a lot more fun and engaging. For Forza, driving on dirt and the handling gets a little challenging. You can customize everything very easily. All of my experience is from the PC side. The actual setup is very easy, need to make sure all your wires are nicely running through the slots and locking the steering wheel is a breeze with thin table adapter already attached. Make sure you take it off for thicker table tops. The pedals are stable, I use them on a carpet and even with heavy breaking, it never moves. For software, once you install G-Hub, the hardware is recognized and all works perfectly.

The Logitech G923 is hands down one of the best purchases I’ve made for gaming. The force feedback feels incredibly realistic you can actually feel the road, the traction, and even subtle shifts in weight as you drive. It makes racing games way more immersive, and honestly, I could play all day without getting bored. Everything from the wheel design to the responsive pedals makes it feel like I’m in a real car. Whether I’m drifting through turns or going flat out on a straightaway, the G923 delivers. If you’re into racing games, this is a must-have. Absolutely love it!

So the main update for the G923 over its predecessor the G920 is the addition of TrueForce which adds more feedback and ambient sounds while driving. The downside is that few racing games support this advanced feature. In fact, few games i tried support the wheel at all, which is incredibly frustrating. I'm not sure what is more frustrating, HP's drivers over the years, or the fact all these racing wheels apparently need game updates for support or they don't work at all? I mean c'mon its 2020, maybe have an option for a Universal Driver or fallback for basic functionality? I tried Forza Horizon 4 since it was the latest and best looking driving game I own and nope, not recognized at all. Have to manually configure all the inputs and you can't leave any setting unconfigured or you can't save. So frustrating. Luckily, Dirt Showdown has a free demo on Steam, so I downloaded it and same deal, no G923 support, didn't even see G920 so I had to fallback to G29. Great. But at least I was finally driving, with Force Feedback and all the bells and whistles. Still no TrueForce however. I'm hoping more games update support for the G923 because right now its super frustrating experience for anyone who spends $400 on a racing wheel to have to manually configure their wheel for every game. Some older games didn't recognize it at all sadly. A few other observations: 1) The wheel is well-built and feels great and responsive overall. Force feedback is strong but not overdone. 2) There's no backlights on any of the buttons anywhere, just an array of tiny colored LEDs at the top which I guess is TrueForce since they didn't activate normally. But some kind of backlight or illuminated buttons for XYAB would've been expected right? I mean we have keyboards and mice with hundreds of LEDs, but we can't get a single backlight on a $400 racing wheel? 3) Dislike the pedal system, I don't have a dedicated seat, just carpet, but I found the pedals shifting at times even with the carpet anchor. The brake also feels super stiff but maybe I will get used to it and I'm just used to my own car's brake. 4) The steering column pressure mount teeth can be removed, which I had to do to fit over my cheap fat Ikea desk. 5) No gearbox on this unit like I had on my G27, but apparently the G27 gearbox is compatible over the RS-232 connector so I may give it a shot. 6) As mentioned, Logitech should provide a legacy mode option or something in their G-Suite or on the wheel itself that allows it to fallback to a general compatibility mode for older games. Overall, very cool update and I can't wait for better driver and game support and more games to support TrueForce. I'm really hoping Forza Horizon 4 gets an update since that's a great looking game. I didn't try on my Xbox One X since that's in the family room but I'll be looking for updates on the PC. I'm not a huge racing sim fan but I know some folks are and this is a solid wheel if you are looking for one. I'm only recommending the wheel in its current state because I do think games will issue updates for Logitech in a relatively timely fashion.

Got this as a gift for my son. He loves it!! I tried it myself and it feels great! The trueforce feedback is awesome! It was easy to setup. The built in desk clamps is easy to use, my son can mount it on his desk and remove it when he is not using it. The quality is top notch.

The Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals is an excellent choice for racing enthusiasts seeking a realistic and immersive experience. Compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, it features TrueForce feedback technology that syncs with in-game physics and audio for lifelike vibrations and resistance, making every turn and drift feel authentic. The leather-wrapped wheel and sturdy metal pedals offer a premium build, though the brake pedal may feel stiff for some users. Setup is straightforward, and it works seamlessly with popular racing titles like Forza Horizon 5 and iRacing. While TrueForce is only supported in select games, the overall performance, durability, and customization options make the G923 a standout choice for serious racers.

Right out of the box, you can tell this wheel and pedals are well built. Quality plastics support the metal pedals and brushed aluminum wheel wrapped in leather. Honestly, this feels better than the setup in my actual car! I really appreciate the attention to detail with a retractable grip on the base of the pedals for carpeting and pop-up screws for easy attachment of the wheel to a table or whatever support system you choose to use. I love cars and really enjoy racing games, but also tend to get bored with them quickly. It just isn’t that exciting to play them with a regular controller or mouse and keyboard. I got ahold of the G923 wheel and pedals in hopes that I could fix that. So far so good. Playing with a dedicated wheel and foot pedals makes gaming SO much more exciting and realistic. Controls are responsive and synced well with games. Trueforce helps me judge speed in corners and pedal resistance is perfect so I know exactly how much throttle or braking to expect from my inputs. So far I have only used this system to play Forza Horizon 4 on Xbox and it was plug and play. Going to try it with F1 2019 on PC next and see how that goes. My only complaint right now is my setup. I live in an apartment and don’t have any tables or desks that I can use to mount the steering wheel and have space below for the pedals. Literally playing on my lap for now and while it works, definitely not ideal. Hoping to get a Playseat semi-soon to round out the setup. Would absolutely recommend checking those out if you are interested in this wheel and pedals!

Wheel and pedals are well-made. The wheel itself is comfortable to grip and and the layout of the buttons make them easy to access. The pedals are of good quality, and each one has a different level of resistance. My favorite feature is the “Trueforce” Force Feedback, which uses haptic feedback to make it as realistic as possible. Not all games support this, but the ones that do, are truly amazing to experience. The only negatives I have is that there are not buttons for all LB/RB//RT/LT, it is dependent on the game of how they behave. Also, the brake can be difficult to depress, and you will want to adjust the sensitivity in the games.

I bought this to play BeamNG and Assetto Corsa, and as an entry racing wheel, it's been pretty okay. The wheel feels a bit small but the feedback is neat and the construction is solid. The pedals feel a bit cheaper, and I think they could build in better floor grips so they're not sliding around so easily when you have to apply full brakes. Great starter set for folks new to racing games and want a better experience than a controller. If you're looking for the best of the best, I'd consider other options.

This is my first racing wheel purchase and it is well worth it! I will admit, the brake pedal is a bit stiff, but other than that this is a great rig to start on. I've seen there are complaints that the force feedback is not powerful enough, but if you're like me and have no context of any other more powerful wheels, this is great! I use it for Forza Horizon 5 for Xbox series x and Assetto Corsa on Steam.

Great entry wheel for sim driving. This is my first gaming wheel and it’s been a real pleasure! Adds a lot of immersion to every game. The force feedback feels good. The pedals are really good a little to close for my liking but really good quality. The pedals are also easily modifiable so that spacing problem I had was an easy fix. Is the wheel just as good as a direct drive wheel. No, but it’s close. As an adult I can tell you it’s still a good wheel but buy a direct drive instead. I plan on doing so in the future because I’ve had so much fun with this wheel, but the wheel feels a bit childish. I’d recommend this wheel for teens. I also want to add. True force! Is it a gimmick? Yes it is but I love it and I wish more games implemented it. So if you want to buy the wheel for the true force option it’s only on a few games so I wouldn’t buy it for that reason. Also also do not buy this wheel if you plan on mainly playing The Crew 2. I have no idea but the game hates this wheel and will constantly crash or stutter your game. Any time I played and had the game on 60 fps it would stutter like crazy then freeze then eventually crash. Game worked just fine with MNK but the moment I plugged in the wheel it was not a great experience. The game did run when I switched to 30 fps but I spent way to much money to build a nice pc to be playing games on 30 fps.
