The software for this product pretty much ruins the experience of owning anything logitech. The G Hub is clunky software overly complicated button overlay and settings. The headsets also have a weak point where the earcups connect causing them to fall off the headband. I attached a photo of that weak point.

Not until after you open the box, try to install it and use it on xbox, do you then go on the Logitech site and find out that you can't use it wirelessly with xbox, even though the box clearly says wireless then lists Xbox.

TLDR: Well built, good audio quality, average mic, a little bit of “gamer” aesthetic, comfortable, but a little heavy on the head. Overall – excellent product. At first look, the G935's have a very solid construction. The cups do seem a bit large and the style seems a little dated. They’re a little bulky and heavy – but not beyond acceptable. I don’t dislike the RGB and it can easily be controlled via the G Hub software (supports light sync between Logitech RGB products). The RGB comes under fire as being “unnecessary”, but I think it’s an expected touch for most “gaming” product. As for sound quality, listening to music was good. Solid bass and clear highs. I don’t expect to use the headphone jack, but it’s kind of nice to know that I can plug it in with the included premium 3.5 mm braided cable if I need to. I spent a few hours playing Black Ops 4 and Overwatch with these so far and I the 7.1 surround delivers a solid performance here too. The stow-away goose neck mic is a nice touch. It mutes when rotated up and has a good range of adjustment. As far as audio quality goes, it’s about average. Nothing amazing, but adequate for gaming and voice chat.

since i bought these, i have had to contact Logictec to have them replaced 3 times all for the same issues. Granted they have no issue sending replacements but i would just like a headset that works. The ear pieces constantly loose sound. i now have 4 of these broken that are all going in the trash.

The Logitech G935 Wireless Gaming Headset is a powerhouse of audio performance, designed to take your gaming experience to new heights. With its impressive 7.1 surround sound, wireless functionality, and customizable RGB lighting, this headset offers a winning combination for avid gamers. As a passionate gamer, I've had the pleasure of using the G935, and I must say it delivers on all fronts. First and foremost, the audio quality of the G935 is exceptional. The 7.1 surround sound provides immersive and precise audio positioning, allowing you to hear every detail and feel fully immersed in your gaming environment. The headset delivers rich, clear sound with a wide frequency range, making explosions, footsteps, and dialogue come to life with impressive clarity. The wireless functionality of the G935 adds convenience and freedom to your gaming sessions. With a reliable wireless connection, you can move around without being tethered to your gaming setup, enhancing your comfort and flexibility. The headset's wireless range is impressive, ensuring uninterrupted gameplay even if you need to step away briefly. The G935 is also remarkably comfortable for extended gaming sessions. The over-the-ear design and plush ear cups provide a snug fit that doesn't strain your ears. The headband is adjustable and well-padded, allowing for a customized and comfortable fit for different head sizes. The overall design ensures that you can wear the headset for hours without discomfort or fatigue. One of the standout features of the G935 is the LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting. The headset features customizable RGB lighting zones that can be synchronized with other Logitech LIGHTSYNC-enabled devices. This lighting adds a touch of style to your gaming setup and allows you to create a visually stunning atmosphere that matches your gameplay or personal preference. The G935 also comes with a convenient set of on-headset controls. These controls allow you to adjust volume, mute the microphone, and even switch between audio profiles without needing to reach for external controls. This easy access enhances your gaming experience and keeps you in control without interrupting your gameplay. The microphone on the G935 is impressive as well. The foldable, noise-canceling mic captures your voice with clarity, ensuring clear communication with teammates or opponents. It also conveniently mutes when folded up, providing a seamless transition between gameplay and conversations.

    Great Wireless Gaming Headset

So, the G935 is a pretty large headset, but it is not too heavy and feels very comfortable when worn for a couple hours. This might be due to the mainly black plastic chassis (part shiny, part matte) with the only visible metal portion being in the headband. The leatherette ear-cups are square in design, very comfortable and both rotate to a flat position, which is good for storage. Down the back- side of each ear-cup you have two RGB lighting zones along with a Logitech Gaming G logo on each cup. The left earcup has a storage spot for the usb dongle under a magnetic cover, this is great as I know dongles are an easy thing to misplace. Also, in the left earcup there is a well-hidden retractable boom mic, that is muted when retracted. The right ear-cup houses the rechargeable battery while the left ear-cup also houses all the inputs and buttons. You have power switch, a mute button, three programmable buttons and a volume dial. I have two problems, the buttons are too close and indistinguishable to the touch and the other problem is the volume dial that’s too slick making it too easy to accidentally change the volume, after you’ve found your sweetspot. You can use the dongle with your pc or console, but you also can use it with the supplied 3.5 mm audio cable. To unlock the full potential of the G935, you have to use it with the Logitech G Hub software, which I found easy to use. Even without the software, this headset sounds great. I tried it both with a PS4 (Red Dead Redemption) and a PC (Wolfenstein 2) and the sound was clean and impactful. With the software things open up. You can tweak your sound as much as you desire. You can have various EQ presets as well as turn on the DTS and customize the surround sound. The lighting zones can also be customized, with many color options but I don’t know how much of a purpose the lights have when I look at where they are placed, which is essentially behind you. I guess if you are completing a particular look with your other RGB devices. With the mic, all persons who I spoke to, said I came through clear and with no distortion or cutting in and out. When it comes to battery life, I’ve used it for about 10 hours (some gaming and some music) , with the lighting off and at about 50% volume, so I can assume with lights on it would cut that time down to 6-8 hours. I think this is another solid entry from Logitech and I would suggest that is a definite buy, if you have been looking for a stylish gaming headset.

The Logitech G935 is close enough to perfect that I am giving it 5 stars. The headphones cups enclose my ears so well that the noise isolation works almost like noise canceling. The Logitech G935s are not bluetooth. They connect via wireless using a USB dongle which is discretely tucked behind a headphone (see picture). The G935s pair instantly and on a PC, PS4, or Switch (docked) you have an instant wireless connection with no need for drivers. Xbox doesn't support wireless in my tests but it works well via the included audio cable plugged into the Xbox controller. Sound is great. Deep rich base and good mid to highs. The Dolby sound is impressive and really improves games. On a PC the Logitech G Hub software lets you customize the colors and G keys - although I didn't really need to customize the buttons. SUMMARY OF WHAT THE G935 WORKS WITH PC - Wireless via USB Dongle PS4 - Wireless via USB Dongle PS4 - Corded via Headphone Port on Controller Switch - Wireless via USB Dongle in Switch Dock Switch - Corded when Portable out of Dock Xbox - Corded ONLY via Headphone Port on Controller The Logitech G935 is a great headset.

    Improved Build Quality From G933

My previous headset was the Logitech G933, which I had gone through a few of due to poor quality control. The last G933 I had lasted over a year before even more issues crept up again, but luckily Best Buy's protection plans are high quality. I'm on my computer with my headset on for 10-15 hours a day on the regular. I have somewhat large, awkward, sensitive ears, and it's incredibly difficult for me to find a headset that'll be comfortable for that long. The G933 did that. When I came in to replace my G933, I was surprised to learn that they were no longer available, but the new model - this G935 - was on the shelf. I did some quick research and decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad that I did. The G935 is even more comfortable for me than the G933 was. The G935 has these really soft memory foam-like pleather-ish looking ear cups; something that I was very much put off by when I first learned it, as I found the mesh material on the G933 to be good for me and have historically had issues with pleather ear cups, but these are soft and don't heat / sweat up (if that makes sense) terribly like some previous headsets. The build quality of the G935 is much, much better than the G933. Where the previous model squeaked often, this one hasn't made a single unpleasant sound. The power switch is still a little wobbly, but it doesn't affect the functionality of the product so it shouldn't matter. The volume dial is good enough for my uses, but be aware that it is pretty sensitive if you're trying to fine-tune your volume to an exact number using just the dial on the headset. The micro USB charging port on the headset is solid, which isn't something you'd expect to be brought up, but this was another weak point on the G933 that was addressed with the G935. The micro USB cable that came with the G935 is shorter than the one that comes with the G933 - now, this would normally be a downside, right? Well, the cable that came with the G933 was so incredibly long that it was cumbersome to set to the side while not charging the headset. The G935's included charging cable is still decently long without being a burden. The sound quality is also an improvement over the G933. I'm no audiophile, so I can't really elaborate much on that, but when you try it out you'll hear the difference. My one and only point of contention with the G935 is the fact that it requires somewhat buggy beta software - Logitech G-Hub - to configure. Luckily, unlike its predecessor (Logitech Gaming Software), it doesn't need to be kept open for the headset to function properly. So while I wouldn't deduct any stars for this, it is something you should be aware of when purchasing this (install G-Hub to configure, close it when you're not changing settings). I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for a decent headset for lengthy gaming sessions, including those of us who have had issues finding headsets comfortable enough for awkward, sensitive ears. If you had issues with the cheap plastic G933 before, give the G935 a shot - this headset is an improvement in almost every single way.

Everything about this headset is great, the 50mm Pro-G audio drivers really make the sound a really great experience. I can exactly locate where the enemies are when I play games such as Apex Legends or Fortnite. They are really comfortable and the sleek design makes them a beauty. The only complaints that I have are the fact that these are massive for the average person but hey what can you ask from a headset. Also the microphone on this headset is absolutely atrocious, however if you're paying this much for a headset you might as well get an external mic as well. The headset in terms of sound is well worth the $170 price point.

I have been using these headphones for a while now and I have noticed that they sound great, feel comfortable, and the wireless portion just makes the usability much more wonderful. Plus, the battery life on it is amazing, almost went a whole day without having to charge it, awesome work on that end LG. Now, onto the dissapointing part, the voice quality is not so promising. I have noticed from others that my voice sounds like I am talking through a radio and at times it is really hard for people to understand me through them compared to my wired headphones. This product is a must have when it comes down to the usatility of it, but the voice proportion just dropped my rating. Overall, it is a great product with small imperfections. 7/10 for me.

    Overall Good Headset

Sound quality: The overall sound quality is good. I enjoy listening to music with them in stereo mode. The surround mode does take some getting used to and is a bit gimmicky, but I don't think it hurts the gaming experience for a normal gamer. I like the custom eq profile you can make in the G hub to tune the sound profile to your liking. Mic: The mic is decent like most other headsets. Not great, but it will get the job done. I do love that the mic folds up to be completely hidden, and that automatically mutes the mic. Those were features important to me because I use them for video calls, and the auto-mute helps a lot. Comfort: Good depending on your head size and shape. It was clamping a little to much at first for me, but I stretched it a bit and then it was fine. I've worn them for multiple hours straight. Other: The G buttons aren't very useful unless you train your muscle memory. I only use it for the battery status and to toggle surround mode. The customization in the G hub software is very nice. The battery usually lasts me most of a day with my usage, but I did turn off the useless RGB for that.

The Pros: This headset sounds great. I love the wireless feature, and it kept continuous sound from 20+ feet away from my laptop. The materials are average, and the hardware seems well built, but there is a very slight, plastic creekiness from one of the swivels. The leatherette ear seals and headpad are comfortable, and block out most outside ambient noise. The controllable mood lighting effects are a nice touch. The Cons: Logitech's software (G Hub) is required to adjust equalizers, acoustics, custom lighting colors, and button assignments. You can use the headset without the software, but you'd miss out on a lot of the cool features. As with every other Logitech hardware I own, the software needed is a total dumster fire. It was impossible to install without experiencing a crash to desktop. I contacted Logitech support, and even though this is a common issue they were totally clueless how to help. Through trial and error, I was able to install the software in Windows Safe Mode and clean boot. However, it installed okay on my wife's laptop, so it's definately a case by case issue, but seems to be common enough that Logitech should have written more robust software.

When I bought this headset it was only because it's wireless and I was sick of having to take my headset off to go to the refrigerator. The first time I used this headset was to play Destiny 2. I have music volume off in game (because I use Buckethead music) so did not have anything until I selected my character, then, the sound of my ship in orbit, those lows I was not used to hearing, I was impressed. Listening to music, the sound is so much fuller than my old headset. They weigh in a good bit heavier than my old headset, but my old headset was easy to break too. I can look down all I want, straight down even, but look up too high and be ready to grab the headset as it will rotate and fall off. The mic, for me at least is a bit tricky to find to fold out, but I guess that makes it less likely to be broken when folded up. The people I talk to in game say I sound good and clear. The battery hold up really well, being retired I sometimes can spend the entire day in Destiny 2 and as long as I started the day fully charged it has never let me down. But I turned the unicorn puke off, because I can't see it and battery life is more important to me. I really do like this headset and recommend it.

I previously had a set of wired Logitech headset. Unfortunately they broke so it was time to get wireless. I am not too big into RGB, but the other features are what brought me here. Big plus of course is the wireless feature. Sound is great and being able to set up or disable the buttons on the side is also a plus. One con that I have is that when i turn away from the monitor area, the sound cuts off, if I do go further away it comes and go. Another con is that yes, even though I am not into RGB, the lights are actually facing the rear of the headset instead of the front; rendering the lights useless if you happen to be a streamer. All in all a very good product, I would recommend because of the great features and awesome battery life.

This is an excellent over the ear wireless headset. This version comes with a USB adapter that does not have the 3.5mm jack like the previous version, but you can order the previous version and pair it with this newer model. Excellent run time on the battery. Also has good range on wireless. Great for walking to the kitchen to get a cup of coffee while still in a meeting. Really nice to be able to have a wired connection in addition to the wireless connection when necessary. Great sound. Really like the ability to lift the microphone just a bit to mute the mic audio! Great for times when you are in a Teams or Zoom meeting and need to mute for a cough especially! Had a Turtle Beach set with plastic headband, Went through 3 versions with all having the headband fail. These Logitech headphones use a metal band which is so much more robust!

I needed a new headset, and didn't want to spend over 100 dollars. This one had wired and wireless that I wanted. It has a name brand I know and like. I also have used logitech products in past and most of the time very good quality. This one is good, but has a few issues that I may need to get looked into someday soon. The quality of the sound.. amazing.. the comfortable level very highly rated. Overall the headset I like, it surrounds the ear, and not laying on the ear itself... The mic is decent to good too, and hides away into the ear part... not always sticking out which I like. Good price for a respectable quality headset. (also like I can replace the rechargeable battery if it ever goes bad)

Well made, durable headset. While I've never been a fan of wireless headsets, these are fantastic! They will be my go-to gaming headset for years and years. They are very comfortable and easy to use. My favorite thing about them is that they can be used while being plugged in to charge, and they charge during use. I use a USB extender and the charge cable to just plug them in while in use if they start dying. The battery life is fantastic, but we all know how we game for hours on end or even forget to plug them in to charge after hours of use, making the ability to use them while they are charging the perfect solution. The flip-down microphone is great as well to just stop open-mic communication to speak to whomever necessary without having your online game team hearing everything! By far the best gaming headset I've ever owned! Easily a 10/10
