I was looking for a wired headset. It plugs into a USB port. Windows found it and installed drivers automatically and was up in running quickly. I use it for Skype and On-line gaming. It is lightweight and conformable. It sounds good and I get good reports on my audio. I recommend!

Wonderful headset. Comfortable over long periods, good sound and the mic does not miss a thing. Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that I wish it was ambidextrous. I prefer my mic and cord on my left.

Inexpensive but works very, very nicely. Just plug it into a USB port and you're in business. Ear pieces are different from most head sets (a convex pad, not the usual cups) and take some getting used to. But comfortable and I don't experience any sweating. Unit doesn't put any pressure on my ears or side of my head. Can't say that about other head sets I've used in the past. Sound is clear. Location of volume controls over the right ear is unusual but works well.

Great headset for my home computer!

This is a great headset for usage at home. I was unsure if this headset would work well for what I wanted (skype/gaming) but I got it anyway. I was happy to discover that it is a great headset for those purposes. Very comfortable and the adjustments for size are easy to use. Additionally, the sound is fantastic and the earphones muffle out sounds around u pretty well. I like the volume control on the ear phone but my only complaint is that the mute is very close to the volume, which makes sense but I would have liked it on the cord. Ultimately it is a great headset for in home use. I'm sure there are lighter headsets for portable usage but if you are looking for a good headset for home usage, then this is a good choice.

Very comfortable, sounds very good and the microphone works well. Purchased to upgrade my 7 year old set without a microphone. USB 3.0, is recognized by most Windows Computers and did not require additional software/drivers. Nice.

    Painful, But Usable

My work headset's microphone quit out on me so I grabbed one of these locally. It feels cheap but it's light weight, which is especially important as I wear this 8 hours a day. Problem is, it gets painful after an hour of use so I have to place the earpads on the side of my head in front of my ears so it doesn't hurt as much. Sound quality and mic quality are fine for call center work, it's terrible for music but this headset wasn't made for that so I can't dock points. The mute button is perfectly placed, which is great because I can press it, look at the red light on the cable, then yell about my terrible customers without them hearing me. It's my favorite feature by far. If you're looking for a comfortable headset, grab a gaming headset. If you don't need to keep up appearances then who cares how you look? I don't recommend this to anyone who doesn't need to keep up appearances, but it's cheap enough to where I lost less money buying this and losing 2 hours of my shift rather than having to wait a few days for a new, more comfortable company issued headset.

I didn’t have high expectations for these but ended up being quite impressed. Bought them because a more expensive (much more expensive) over the ear gaming set was giving me headaches. These are extraordinarily lightweight. They sound great and the mic on them works great too. Now, they’re all plastic which is to be expected given their price point so I wouldn’t consider that a negative. If you’re looking for a lightweight set that is inexpensive and sound great these are for you.

    Good Headphones

I purchased these headphones to use with a Rosetta Stone program for learning a foreign language. It is very easy to understand what the program is instructing me to do, and I think the microphone seems to pick up my verbal responses correctly. Sometimes the program doesn't understand what I say, but that is probably my difficulty in pronouncing the words, rather than the Logitech h540 actually causing any problems. My only complaint is that the headphones sit on the ears lightly, rather than "cupping" around the ears, so head movements sometimes result on a tug on the wire connecting the set to the computer's USB port. This tug occasionally moves them from the best position to listen. This reduces the comfort of wearing them just a little bit, but is usually only a minor aggravation. Although there are wireless headphones available from Logitech, they are a bit more expensive. Rosetta Stone recommended using the wired ones to minimize any risk of interference when using their program.

The logitech headset delivers a good quality sound and the microphone provides good voice quality audio (according to those on the receiving end of Skype conversations. The volume and mute controls on the earpiece are convenient as is the light to let you know if you left the mute on. The headset, while not super plush and comfy, is comfortable enough for long usage without being annoying or painful. This is a very good headset for the price.

I was looking for a headset to use for online chatting while in game or online conference calls (using Skype and Ventrillo). I wasnt too happy when I saw at the store that they only had a few sets to choose from. This one was about $20 so thought I'd give it a try being that I had no other choice, really. I ended up liking it because even though it covers both ears, its a lighter headset, so it doesnt feel heavy after wearing it for 1+ hours. The controls for the volume and muting are on the actual headset itself (its on the part that covers the right ear), not on the cord. I didnt think I'd like that either but again, it was actually quite easy. When you hit the mute button, a red light comes on, on the cord so its very easy to tell you're muted. All in all, this turned out to be a great set of headphones. So much so, that I plan on purchasing a second pair.. Because you know, when you find something you really like and try going back later to buy another one.. They're gone and they done make them anymore! So if you're looking for a good headset (sound is great as well), try this one! Cant beat it for the price

A great headset to have for being on the phone 8-12 hours a day. Cushions sit on the outside of the ear and dont wrap which is great as some crunch the ear up and cause soreness. The only thing that is kinda frustrating is the fact that the mic only rotates 90 degrees (up position and down to talk) which forces the user to have the mic on the rightside of ones face. But that comes down to personal preference and the only reason it got 4 stars. Without my preference definitly a 5 star!

This headset isn't the fanciest in the store but works right out of the box. It has easy adjustment of head to ear sizing, swing microphone with good sound quality, and good sound reproduction with it's padded speakers. The controls for volume and mute are easy to use and I like the red light on the cord that lets you know if you are muted or not. Simple but effective. Great value for the price range.

I bought these for my home office. They don’t suffocate the ears and allow them to breathe. They’re very light as if you’re wearing nothing at all. My coworkers tell me the microphone quality is crystal clear.

I love these headphones for my online job. If you have to cough you can press a button so no one hears you and then press the button again to be heard. The volume works great and they are so comfortable I forget I am wearing them! I never get hot they are lightweight to wear. I got the wired (not wireless) ones so I made sure my connections would be 100% trouble-free but wireless would be even nicer.

I think the sound quality is fine all the way around. I can hear fine, and no one ever mentions struggling to hear me. However, I am not a fan of the style of the ear pads. They are not at all molded - just flat pads. As long as I sit straight upright and do not move, the headphones stay in place ok, but if I bend over, or tilt my head to the side, they slide off my ears. And due to them not be molded my ears get "tired" from the pressure of the flat pads if I have to wear them for more than a couple hours at a time. (Often for work I have them on for most of the day.) I use these for now, because I purchased them, but I do not recommend them for long term wear, and as soon as they begin to wear out I will search for a better headset than this.

Installed without a hiccup. Sits nicely on my head. It's light and airy. Doesn't get hot on my ears. Loud at high volume, doesn't distort, Mic works great. All around good headset. I'd buy it again. Only bad is that the Mic HAS to go on the right. Can't swap out which side it can be used on.
