In normal listening environments the noise cancelling works great however in louder environments it can be difficult to hear. This is to be expected. Headphones are lightweight and comfortable.

This headset has been incredibly useful to have now that I'm working from home due to Covid. The sound quality is great and I have received compliments on how clear my voice sounds from my coworkers. There are volume up/down controls and a mute button on the right ear piece. The cable contains a red LED that indicates when you've muted the headset. I rated this 4 stars because the red LED in my headset intermittently works. However, this does not affect the mute function.

I purchased this headset as a backup for my Logitech G930. If you have or know anybody that has a G930 then you probably know they randomly lose signal and reconnect. This is quite annoying when talking to friends or gaming so having the H540 on hand is very nice. There are no install steps or anything like that, just simple PnP so as long as your Windows OS does not get cranky with you it should work almost instantly. I do have some issues getting it to sit nicely on my ears but this may just be from only using over-the-ear headsets for the last few years. Other family members state that it feels fine and sounds good so I guess it is just up to your preference for headset style. Also want to point out that, as this is a backup for my G930, I use this headset roughly once or twice a week so it is not being used heavily daily which would definitely play a role in how it feels/functions. I believe it would work just the same if used heavily daily though. TL;DR - This headset is great for general usage, sounds good, easy to wear, and does not seem to be made cheaply (so far). I'm happy with my purchase :)

Very comfortable to wear. The sound is very good. It is a good headset for listening to music and videos. The volume adjustment on the ear is also easy t5o use.

I have now used this headset, daily, for the past two months. The sound is crisp. What I really like is that I can adjust the sound level with a touch of my index finger, up or down. I can also mute the mic with just a push of a button. Again, after two months, I really like this headset.

Useful and dependable product. My online classes required usb headphone to work. This product worked wonderfully. Good sound. Controls on earpiece easy to use. Comfortable to wear for extended time periods.

The store didn't have the original lower priced set that I wanted so upgraded me to this one. Overall the sound quality is good. The headphones are larger than I wanted and a little hot to wear. I can't tell you if the microphone blocks out external sound but if it is positioned in a certain way you can hear your voice (kind of like your ears are stuffed up) which I found annoying. IMHO, not worth the extra price to upgrade from a basic one.

These headsets were purchased for our intake department, they are comfortable, noise cancellation, easy to plug into your laptop, and economical. we love them

I am using these for teleconferencing as well as listening to videos an audio presentations. They have good sound quality both inbound and outbound. They are pretty comfortable, though not quite as comfortable as my Jabra headset. Also, unlike my Jabra headset, the earphones do not rotate to a make the unit flat for easier transportation in a backpack/messenger bag - they take up more room. However, for my regular, non-travel needs they work fine.

I've had several pairs of these throughout the years. They've been produced for over a decade - and they are perfectly balanced for quality, price, and are pretty durable. If there ever was a wired headset I could say I love, the H540 is that headset. To me, it is the best designed all-rounder ever made.

These are the best headphones as I use them for work answering calls and I just love them. They are comfortable, lightweight, and noise cancelling. I highly recommend them!!

I needed a headset quick and lucked out when I purchased this product. I prefer wireless equipment but am not at all disappointed with this headset. When in meetings or on calls everyone can clearly hear me speak, no feedback, and great sound quality when listening to others.

The headset, especially paired with an app like Krisp, are phenomenal. They perform really well. I do find them hot on my ears, and as I am unaccustomed to wearing a headset I don't like having my ears compressed. Likely I will get used to both. Having the wire coming from my earlobe down my side and going to the USB plug is inconvenient. I have since wished that I had gone for the wireless headphones so that I wouldn't have that wire to navigate around. I never know if my arm should go around the outside of it or the inside of it in order for me to use my mouse. I also find myself wishing I could continue listening and walk around. Otherwise, it performs well and I am satisfied with the purchase.

Good solid headphones. Switch to turn off mic. Good product for the money. They have lasted 9 months so far. :)

The headphones have great sound; Inexpensive; Not meant for small heads, as they fit loosely; You can still hear outside noise.

Excellent sound quality and all my coworkers say mic sounds crisp and clear. Very lightweight - doesn't feel burdensome nor does it make me sweat.
