I have purchased 4-5 of these since I have been using computers. These are some of the best wireless keyboards on the market in their price range, and function almost flawlessly. I say almost, because the whole reason I have had to replace most of these is that they may have gotten a little wet. You would think that companies would think this through a tad more, but they just haven't! If you spill any little bit of liquid in this keyboard, prepare to be buying a new one! I am mostly careful, but when your job consists of being in from of a computer all day, accidents will happen. Also, the newest one that I just purchased seems to be made a little differently. The keys are a little less "clicky" and more on the mushy side, which I am not super fond of either.

I choose this keyboad mainly because of the illuminated keys, but after using it I've noticed how I like it's features and how the look and feel is too. what's cool about this keyboard is you can change the brightness of the keys on the fly or even turn the back-lighting off completely. another cool thing is that it has a touch sensor that makes the keys light up when it hasn't been in use for a while. I don't use all of the F keys but I do like that they're their for my convenience. the battery life is pretty good and lasts longer of course if you don't have the brightness so high all the time which in my opinion isn't necessary. I can't think of anything I don't like about it.. works good for my gaming needs as well.

After going through about 12 discarded computer keyboards at my office and wanting to throw all of them out the window, I finally made the time to go out to Best Buy where I could actually try them out. I LOVE this keyboard! It's wireless and comes with a charger. It is illuminated which is very helpful when working in dim light. What I love the most is the nicely rounded keys and the beautiful touch. It's close to perfect! If I were to change one thing, I'd make the "Enter" key larger. But my little finger knows where it is, so that's just fine. I love it so much I got one for work, paid for by my employer, and I bought one for myself out of my own funds, of course.

I had a back-lit keyboard on my laptop and thought it was the best, so I went on the hunt for one for my desktop as well. I didn't care for the overhead light at night on my desk, but I couldn't see the keys on the keyboard without one. Of all the keyboards I found with this feature, this is the best yet. Not only is the keyboard lit up, it is extremely soft and quiet to the touch., and much quieter than most keyboards that I found. I love the on and off button, as well as the USB port that conserves the battery. This keyboard could last forever. I am SUPER happy with this purchase. I purchased two of them for both my desktops. I also put on a Geek Squad warranty to guarantee a good LONG and happy experience with it.

Replaced old logitech with this keyboard and loved the feel and the back lighting. I don't like to work at home in bright lights. The keyboard also stays in place while typing, unlike the old one. Another good feature is the fact that I only need one usb transmitter to control this keyboard and the wireless logitech mouse that I already use. You just download their software from their web site, follow the easy instructions and now I have a freed up usb port to use, which is great because I was down to my last one on my Gateway desktop. On the logitech website they show you which mouse models are compatible with that feature and mine wasn't listed. I tried it anyway and was quite pleased when it worked.

My mom had been looking for a nice illuminated keyboard, so she can easily type even in low light. And having it wireless was just a bonus!! She uses this with her laptop, so she doesn't have to use the main keyboard, which does not light up, and is smaller. So far, a single charge has lasted quite a while, she's used it numerous times and hasn't had to recharge it yet. It's cool that the illumination goes on automatically when it senses your hands over the keyboard, which saves battery because it's not lit up when not in use. It's also pretty thin & lightweight, so it's easy to use & move around!! The bluetooth dongle plugged in & was recognized instantly & it worked right away! This is a great keyboard, and I love the Logitech brand!!

I was in the market for a cordless, rechargeable keyboard for my office at work. I became particular to a specific type of keyboard, soft keys, good spacing, delicate touches. I was a college student and was used to speed typing on my laptop. What I did not like were raised keys. What I love about this one are the delicate touches required for typing. Makes typing a smooth flow of keystrokes. I tried typing on all the keyboards and this was the winner. Price was worth it and for the battery life. I am an accountant so it gets used daily, I do remember to turn it off on weekend and at night. I purchase this over 6 months ago and have charged it twice! I love this keyboard.

This keyboard has truly impressed me. I had a Gyration keyboard and mouse. The mouse would discharge way too fast and the wireless keyboard would get stuck. I read a lot of reviews and saw a few Youtube videos and decided to give this keyboard a try, It has a three-light battery indicator. It arrived two weeks ago on the middle power light and today it moved to the first. I use the keyboard at least 3 hours a day Sometimes up to 6 hours. The lighted up has great light sensitivity. It really helps at night. I haven't had any connectivity issues. I also paired it with the dongle of my Logitech Mouse, freeing up a USB port. The peace it brings is well worth the money.

Why I did not buy this sooner is a complete mystery. I have had this keyboard for a few days and absolutely love it. I do not have to rely on the monitor's light source or resort to holding the keyboard to catch that monitor light to type anymore. The keyboard lit up looks like it should be on the star ship Enterprise. The tactile feel of the keys feels like my toshiba laptop. Any micro USB cable will charge the keyboard so heads up. Download the Logitech Unifying software to "pair up" to 6 devices and save on USB slots. One USB dongle will handle 6 logitech devices. My wife loves the keyboard so happy wife makes for happy hubby right guys ;) Look ..... just buy the dang thing and like it. Trust a brother ..... Best Buy price matches so why wait ?

    The worst Keyboard Ever

The keyboard does not hold a charge. I have even resorted to keeping it plugged in to a USB port at all times. It also stops working and you have to turn it off and then turn it back on to complete trying. It is very sluggish when it does work, type 10 characters and then have to wait to see if it catches up or to identify which characters it totally misses. I spoke to an associate at the store and he recommended buying a wired key board. I bought a Microsoft keyboard/mouse wireless combination for half the price and it works, as it should. I should have returned it when it first acted up within the first month, bur now it is in the junk pile waiting for recycling with the Logitech high end mouse, purchased at the same time, see my other review

Hi all, Have been using a keyboard from Saitek for several years, largely because I'm a "10-finger" typist and don't NEED to see the keys, but also because it had various colors of backlighting that looked nice on my desk when the other lights were turned off. After numerous complaints from other people about their inability to use my keyboard with most of the letters worn off, + this new one showing up as a Christmas gift and strong hint from my wife (one of those other users), I finally had to replace it with this one. The Logitech keyboard works very well, and is quite comfortable. In fact... it's probably much nicer than the one I used to have...but the only backlighting it has is white. In short, it completely lacks blue, green, and purple backlighting to make my desk look nice with the lights out. ;-(

I have used Microsoft wireless keyboards for a couple of years now and felt that my keying accuracy had decreased. I was also missing lighted keys because I work late into the evenings as a software developer. This Logitech keyboard has improved my keying accuracy beyond even where it used to be. The key strokes take just the right pressure and contact to work well, the keystrokes are pretty quiet (not completely silent), and the lighted keys are great -- especially the way it turns the lighted keys on/off depending upon how close your hands are to the keyboard. Saves on the recharging a lot (yes, the keyboard is micro-USB rechargeable, you don't have to keep buying batteries)! Our daughter also really likes this keyboard. I'll be buying another for her before long.

This is a very comfortable keyboard with great key travel and spacing. The backlight feature is a nice bonus, but was not the main reason I got this. I'm able to type more comfortably and accurately than on my stock PC keyboard (Dell). It's also very quiet which is nice in my home office. The keyboard has a built-in rechargeable battery which lasts for several weeks. When it does need a charge, you can use a standard micro USB cable plugged into the PC or an external charger. The keyboard comes with the cable, but not the charger. In a pinch, you could remove the battery compartment door and recharge the batteries using an external AA charger. However, it's much simpler to leave it in place and charge the keyboard while still using it.

I was replacing an older Logitech keyboard that required AA batteries with this new Logitech Keyboard. I thought my old was fantastic but this one is even better. The keys are smooth to type on and don't have that click sound of the older style keyboards. The back lighting of the keyboard is great...not too bright to take away from the keys but bright enough to make things stand out. The battery life has been great and having a rechargeable lithium ion battery is great. The feature I like the most may seem silly but I love the On / Off switch for the keyboard being on the top of the keyboard rather than on the underside. Easy to turn off to conserve battery power when I know I will be away for an extended period of time. I highly recommend this keyboard to everyone.

I bought this wireless keyboard for my laptop as I do a lot of typing and find the laptop keyboard very uncomfortable. The keyboard has a light when CAPs is on, but no NUM LOCK light, which I find weird, but you can live without it. The best feature about this keyboard is its design. Very stylish, and looks great anywhere. Very light and I carry the keyboard inside my backpack every where I go to study. The only down side I would have to say is the battery life. Though the batteries are rechargeable it seems like they do not hold much charge. Another plus is the backlight feature. Very good in dim/dark area. This feature can be modified. By modifying its intensity you can stretch the amount of time the batteries last.

Love the K800 keyboard so far. I thought it used some sort of optical sensor for the hand proximity feature but when I place my hand under my keyboard tray the lights turn on. So it must use some kind of EMF sensing. Basically it works well and ever time. The keys are far superior to my old Logitech 710 keyboard this replaced. Super smooth and quiet enough. My only gripe would be the short Backspace key. Although my pinky seems to be getting use to it fine. All letters and symbols are laser etched from the back so they cannot be rubbed or scratched off. Came with 2 Eneloop AAs in it which is great. So far love everything about this keyboard and look forward to using it for years to come...hopefully.

The feature I like most about this keyboard is it is FULL size. (I have other keyboards that squeeze the arrow keys and the Insert/Delete keys between the keypad and the main keys leaving no room for my little finger to hit the Delete key without hitting the Insert key from time to time.) My keyboard works as advertised. No sticky key problems although Best Buy offers a protection package at checkout. Plug the USB cable in and the keyboard is constantly illuminated while it charges. In wireless mode the keys illuminate when your hands come near the palm rest area or when you touch a key. The illumination feature saves battery power by turning off a few seconds after your hands are removed from the keyboard. If you type in low light this is a good keyboard for you.

I have purchased a few back-lit keyboards and a few wireless keyboards. This is the first back-lit wireless keyboard I have purchased. Based on the past few weeks, it will also be the last I purchase for a long time to come! This keyboard is rechargeable via a USB connection and it is supposed to hold it's charge for up to 10 days. It has been much longer than 10 days and it is still reporting a full charge. I have yet to plug in the USB charger cable. The keys are very quiet as you type and the contours of the keys are very comfortable. The Logitech Unifying Receiver makes it a snap to sync and allows you to sync multiple wireless peripherals with a single receiver. So far I would have to say this has been the best keyboard purchase I have ever made.

This would be a great keyboard even if it were not wireless. The feel of the keys is "just right". The illumination is motion sensitive, and activates when your hand hovers over the keyboard. The light activation is instantaneous, and the illumination is quite bright. The battery lasts about three weeks before charging is needed. The keyboard will still operate if the battery becomes low, but it will not illuminate, as a type of low battery warning. The illuminated keyboard is very helpful, as I have to use it at work in a dark environment. I am very satisfied with this keyboard, and I plan to purchase additional ones as I upgrade older keyboards.

For the most part well worth the money. Motion sensor works great, illumination is excellent in dark rooms and also excellent in daylight. I wish it came with matching mouse. I had to buy a unifying mouse which works of the keyboard transmitter and does not take up an additional USB slot. I bought the Logitech Anywhere MX mouse which is very expensive but worth it. The only downside is the constant hooking up the USB charging cable even though the keyboard come with 2 slow drain AA Ni-Mh batteries the charge still only last about 5 hours. Note I leave the keyboard on all the the time but still that is the whole point to have illumination when you want it not having to turn off key board and restart it. Still in all I would highly recommend this to others.
