Perfect budget or office keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent keyboard for it's value, considering most mechanical keyboards are priced above the $99 mark. The brown switches of give a nice confirming tactile feel without the loud clickiness of blue switches. A perfect keyboard for typists or programmers that are working in an office and don't want to disturb their co-workers. The base of the keyboard has a slight flex to it if pressed hard enough, and the key-caps have a bit of a cheap feel to them. But, when considering it's price, it's a fantastic deal.

Nice Compact Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like the feel and sound of a traditional keyboard, you'll love this one. The soft backlighting is a real plus in lower light situations. I've been using a Logitech wireless keyboard for years and didn't know if I'd like being chained to the computer again with a cable. But I've readily discovered I didn't need a fully mobile keyboard. The cable is long enough to occasionally place the keyboard on my lap as prior. Great keyboard.

Brown Switches worked for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard did exactly what I wanted. Replaced an old Dell keyboard, but I wanted the same button layout, spacing and footprint so that I had a seamless transition. Logitech had a great website for the various types of mechanical keys, the sounds they make and the resistance required with each keystroke. Based on that information, I selected the keyboard with brown switches. Backlighting is only in white, but has various modes. I just keep it on the standard setting because I really don't care about lighting, but can't see the letters on the keys well without the lighting on. The only downside to the keyboard is that the font used is a little hard to read on the keys for letters, numbers and symbols. Some are fine to read and look normal, but then things like the ampersand are just stupid.

Logitech K845 Wired Mech./Tactile Keyboard review
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard was a good fit for me. The keys are high-relief, provide the typical clicking sound for a mechanical keyboard, and the white back-lit keys really make them easy to see. These are all attributes I was looking for. Pressing the 'FN' key in combination with any of the 'F' keys such as F1, F2, etc., provides alternate functionality, primarily media player navigation keys, speaker volume keys, and shortcut keys. The outside of the box that the keyboard comes in identifies each key's alternate function. In addition, a small symbol for each 'F' key's alternate function is shown displayed on the key itself under the lit 'F'. However, these symbols are not lit so you really have to look close to see them. I would have liked to see these symbols lit as well, but since I use them infrequently it's not a big deal for me. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would buy it again.

Comfy but LOUD
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The "responsive" switches correspond to TTC Browns which is Logitech's house brand of Cherry MX Browns. Everyone has a preference and these are clicky, snappy, there's a fair bit of travel for key slappers like me. And all my other key slappers, this thing is LOUD, even for browns. It's because the keys will collide with the aluminum top of the board. I love it, but this is super subjective. I would NOT recommend this for office use or if you shared a kitchen table home office with a partner/roommate. But if you're in your own personal nerd cave and want a slappy, responsive mechanical keyboard for $60, this is the one.

Great keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like typing on this keyboard. Good tactical feel with the brown switches. Just enough clicky without too much clicky. I am happy with this purchase.

Good For The Price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good keyboard for the price. Keys feel really good and aren't super clicky (I chose Brown Switches.) The keys feel comfortable and give a good feeling when pushed so I know I pushed a key. The backlighting is just what I needed. Mostly you just see the characters lighting up, but there is a bit of light underneath. The face plate is a silver color that spreads the light so it isn't intense beneath the keys. I don't know who would need some of these lighting effects. The only one I really care for is the one that lights up each key you press, but the others are neat for a few seconds. Also, like others have mentioned, the Scroll lock/Num lock/Caps lock lights cannot be dimmed and are pretty intense. I think that's the only thing I dislike about this. The keys all have a custom font, which doesn't make them look too different from normal, but adds a bit of style.

Competent Mechanical Keyboard for Business
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good business aesthetic with decent feeling switches. If you're looking for a budget mechanical keyboard, especially if you're interested in gaming, you'd be better off waiting for sales on EVGA, Razer, or Corsair keyboards as they'll usually drop down to a similar price and will be equipped with higher quality switches. That being said, for someone who's interested in something that's more professional-looking and don't mind slightly cheaper feeling switches, this is a pretty competent alternative. They keyboard is plasticky and has moderate flex, but isn't so cheap and brittle that it'd snap if you dropped it from chest height. The switches feel very similar to their Cherry MX counterparts with maybe a bit more wobble, but the unit I purchased has a bit more tactility if you're comparing the Brown switches. Unsure about longevity, though. Keycaps are thin and cheap feeling, but that's the case with most off-the-shelf keyboards regardless of price. Backlit LEDs shine through well, though, for those intending to type in the dark.

Decent Inexpensive Mechanical Keyboard
||Posted . Beautiful and clicky keyboard - a hit by Logitech
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my first mechanical keyboard and it's at a very good price point for beginners. Not a lot of prior experience but I'm extremely pleased with this keyboard, it's built in a sturdy manner with premium aluminum base. Keycaps have a good font and I prefer the white backlighting, looks much more professional than RGB. Would highly recommend.

Strong build, comfortable keys!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am deciding between a blue clicky vs brown tactile switch keyboard and I ordered this keyboard in the brown tactile. Although the brown switches aren’t as clicky as the blues, I really love the build for this keyboard. It is VERY high quality and the keys are so comfortable to type on. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a mechanical keyboard for the office or at home use!

Great Keyboard!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this thing. It feels well-made, love the aluminum finish, the keys don't feel too far apart or too close together. Would definitely recommend this keyboard for gaming, although for work I prefer the old Microsoft Ergonomic keyboards. Still, this one would not be a bad choice, I think.

Great Performance Keyboard!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it for office use and I love it! All the functionality is superb and the board is very intuitive. Definitely recommend for office use or even mixed use if you want to game with it on a bigger desk (it's full sized so going to chew up some space).

Decent keyboard but there is zero software support
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to upgrade to a backlit keyboard. This was one of the more inexpensive but it had the standard 104 keys and a white backlight so I gave it a try. I got the brown switches which are supposed to be tactile but felt almost linear. This was not a problem. The keyboard is quite thick and could stand to provide a wrist rest because your hands are bent more than normal. The LEDs indicating lock keys are enabled are quite bright and do not dim when you dim the backlight for the keys. But for me, what really makes this a deal breaker is there in no software support whatsoever. You can not even find this keyboard on the Logitech support website. The keyboard works just fine but without software support, I can not customize macros to keys as I otherwise do.

Good old fashion mechanical keys!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent keyboard! Old fashion mechanical keys, but may be a little loud for those who grew up on soft keys, though this is much better feedback when typing.

Very good, should get rid of the weird fonts
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard is great. Most of the time I do not need to look at the keyboard to type, but every one in a while I do for special characters or keys. For some reason they have chosen a weird font and abbreviations so I have to look twice to make sure I'm selecting the correct key. For example, Home is HM, Page Up us PU, and the other key fonts are just... a little weird. To me that's wasted time and of no benefit. People don't choose a keyboard for the font used on the keys. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars. The LED lighting is good, they key response is good, the key font.... well not so good.

Great Value If Used in Bright Environment
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My only complaints are the fonts on the keys (very minor) and the lighting (more annoying). If you're in a well-lit environment where you don't need the lighting, you'll probably like this keyboard. Otherwise, you'll find it annoying like I have. #1) The num, caps and scroll lock lights do not dim and stay extremely bright. #2) The lighting modes and level are not remembered once powered off. If you don't want the keyboard always on and full bright, get used to using the function keys to change it every time.
