PRODUCT LOGITECH - LITRA BEAM LX PREMIUM DUAL-SIDED RGB LED STREAMING LIGHT WITH TRUESOFT FOR STREAMING AND BROADCASTING - BLACK AWESOME LIGHT & SOFTWARE – HORRIBLE STAND ALMOST RUINS IT I’m glad I stuck with it, but the stand alone almost made me put it away back in the box. In the end, I had to modify the stand for now, and I will eventually replace the stand, but like I said, I’m glad I stuck with the LITRA LX PREMIUM DUAL overall. THE GOOD Once you are controlling the LITRA BEAM LX PREMIUM DUAL from the G-Sync software everything is fantastic. - Turns on the light automatically when a selected webcam is activated - Turns off the light automatically when the webcam is de-activated - Infinite adjustment of white temperature (warm to bright white) and brightness - RGB Color Selections for the rear lights - Rear Colors can be synced to monitor colors, etc. Now I can better control the lighting when streaming without fussing with a handful of task lights I have clipped to my desk. I think I will like it long term. THE STAND Someone needs to be taken to the woodshed for this stand. When you screw in the lamp to the stand there is not enough tension to hold the lamp in place, it was always loose and spinning. No matter how hard you screw it in, it is always loose. By loose I mean a strong breeze (or the weight of the wires) will tilt the lamp. Fortunately, I had just purchased some washers for my camera tripod mount which solved the problem by effectively shorting the length of the screw, it gave the light bar something to grab onto (the washer). Wire Management is horrible. It just does not hold any of the wires out of sight and the clips provided are too weak and that same strong breeze will separate the wires from the clips. Here I used Velcro cable straps along the shaft to better hide / control the wires. The base of the stand is too wide (deep) to fit cleanly behind any of my monitors. If I left it as it was, the height of the monitor (32 inch monitor) partially blocks the light, causing shadows because it was so far back on my desk, even when extended to full height. So, I had to half balance the light stand on the back of my monitor stand with 2 CD Cases under it to prop it up, then loosely lean it forward with more Velcro straps. The base is fine, but what the thing really needs is another axis of articulation, so you can lean the light forward, not just tilt it up and down. Even a joint at the base would be perfect so it can lean forward. THE MANUAL CONTROLS The controls need to be backlit, when you are being blinded by the front light, you can’t even see the controls exist, let alone any marking. This only matters if you want to use the light manually, but once you have the software running then it does not matter as much. THE INSTRUCTIONS Don’t really exist other than some vague pictures on the inside lid. I still could not tell you want the hieroglyphics mean and which button does what. Again, once I was controlling it from the software it was all good. SUMMARY The light and software controls are nice. I would recommend you plan on tossing out the stand, and get a cheap, but decent multipoint articulating webcam stand and mount it to that instead. This assumes you plan to use it in the traditional horizontal orientation above your monitor. Instead of side lighting. Although it is overall OK, I can’t really recommend it at this price point with this stand.

I have been using cheap lightings for many years and just decided to upgrade to this high end product. I'm very satisfied so far. Very easy to control, vibrant and dimmable lighting settings, the stand is also flexible for the lighting needs. I would argue that even it's probably the best lighting options, but the build itself isn't really matching the price. Still very good product tho.

I have this and the elgato key light, I really like the RGB on the back of this, but the lack of an elgato stream deck app makes it very unusable for me, so I gave it to my brother for his streams. I also say it’s not bright enough for green screens, you’d need 2 or 3 to make it really work The buttons on top are way easier to use than the Logitech app, but streamdeck would have been the easiest, that’s how I control my elgato key light for my green screen

I was hesitant to get this version over the slightly cheaper model without the colored light on the back. Now that I’ve purchased it, I’m sure I made the right choice. While the white light itself is amazing for streaming, the colored side gives the whole thing a lot more purpose than it would otherwise have while I’m not using it. Solid build, super easy set up, and extremely flexible and effective light. Five stars.

This is one of the best lamps out there. I love the design, the dual light options, and the controls are absolutely excellent. I think this is the right option for people to have discrete lighting at their desk (vs. the larger square lights manufacturers offer) while still achieving a very high quality lighting environment.

The Litra Beam LX is perfect for streaming! Bright, natural lighting with smooth RGB on the back gives my setup a professional look. Easy to adjust, portable, and makes me look great on camera every time. Love the vibes!

This is an awesome light. One side has your basic spotlight which is super bright and has the ability to be adjusted from daylight to a more yellow temperature in K. The other side has RGB which can be set to various patterns. One down side which is only minimal is the cord runs down the back instead of through the stand.

Great light! Love the way it lets me choose from a basic white light (that also goes from cool to warm light) but also has several color settings on the opposite side. The stand has adjustable height that is also a win. If you are looking for a light that you can turn on, then this is the light for you, let me tell ya!

Easy to setup, and the stand was pretty sturdy. It had a variety of different set up options for the light. My only gripe is that I cant connect it to Apple Home. Other than that it does a good koby

Logitech Litra Beam LX is a premium light, and I love using it every day at my work from home desk. The light has a premium feel with solid materials and a sturdy base. Putting the light together together was easy both for assembly and also adjustment. After installing software, i was pleasantly surprised to learn the light and my Logitech webcam can work together to turn on the light when the webcam is in use. 100% unexpected and 100% appreciated! I look forward to using this light on my desk for years to come!

Easy set up. Nice even lighting with little shading. Downside is it accentuates the wrinkles on my 85 year old mug.

I’d moved my desk to a darker part of the room and needed to improve the lighting for my video calls. This device provides a very natural shade of light that’s pleasant to look at throughout the day, and the quality difference in my webcam was a night and day difference. Works well with both my Mac and PC. Recommend!

Perfect addition to my setup, the Litra Beam LX has both function and aesthetic. The key light is perfect for my setup, and is a cheaper alternative to other key lights, as well as more space efficient than competitive ring key lights. the RGB bar is a neat touch, and it can sync to what is displayed on the screen and add some wall lighting effects when playing video games.

Great light. Lights up whole desk on the lowest setting. Plus the rbg makes this the best steaming light no doubt.

Pretty great light, it has a lot of options. The cord is long, I can plug it into the wall, and the power works with the light. When the light comes on, it has a bunch of different colors pretty sweet.

I needed a light for work meetings as I work from home. My office space doesn't have windows, so I needed better lighting. Only complaint is the RGB on the back side just isn't that bright, even on the highest setting.
