    Terrible mouse

    I've must have used at least 30 to 50 different optical mouse in life, never have I seen one this bad. Here's why... There are 4 small pads underneath the mouse, one in each corner. And interestingly enough, they had to make them uneven, top right and bottom left corner pads are a bit thicker than the top left and bottom right corners. So the mouse keeps rocking back and forth as you use it. If you have ever been to a restaurant where the table legs are uneven, than you know what I'm talking about. Double-clicking sometimes doesn't register because the mouse always rocks back and forth after each click. Just terrible to try to work with this mouse. Now for $10, I'm not going to make the trip back to the store to return or exchange it, so I'm gonna keep it, but I'm very unhappy with it. Maybe I'll buy some tiny padding to pad the four corners of the mouse to make it even, so it doesn't rock back and forth after every click.

    Poor tracking, bad feel

    I know this is a cheaper mouse ($9.99 on Deal of the Day), but I'm having a hard time with the tracking... seems to wander a lot (and I've being using mice for 20+ years). Tried adjusting the mouse settings (even turning off 'Enhance Pointer Precision' for a short while), but pointer either moves too slowly when mouse is moved slowly, or pointer goes too fast and zig-zags when mouse is moved quickly (dynamic tracking). Tried on different surfaces and works better when color of surface varies. Also, scroll wheel feels rough/scratchy. The sides are rubber (or feel like it) which I don't personally like. Maybe I could get used to this mouse if I tried hard, but not worth it, especially since there is now an HP mouse for only $7.99, so will be returning this Logitech mouse,.

    will not work on wood table tops

    Optics won't work on surfaces with irregular patterns. For example, on a wood grain surface (e.g., oak), it will work fine when running the mouse across the grain (the eye picks ups the grain passing beneath it), but when using it with the grain, the optical eye doesn't register movement as quickly. The result being that in order to move the cursor on the screen in equal amounts each direction, the user needs to physically move the mouse 2 times as far when moving with the wood tabletop grain than against the wood table top grain. When I use it on the small equally distributed geometric pattern sofa covering, it works fine. NOTE: Downloading the Logitic mouse software does not help.

    I order the Logitech - Computer Accessories M310 Mouse Red with the awesome swirls. NOPE. They sent me a plain red one. If I wanted a plain red one I would have saved myself $15.00 and just gotten a plain red one that they had one sale. The picture is untrue to what I had received. It says down in product features and it said it came in red and silver. I figured that it was giving a general color amount. Why they have a cool designed mouse, then go and give me this plain red one is beyond me. I am not happy with my purchase! I won't be buying anything from Bestbuy.com that has anything to do with buy.com.

    Not recognized by Logitech Set Point software

    The product I bought, Logitech M310 mouse, does not work with Logitech Set Point software (tried it on 2 systems). Had I knew this, I would not have purchased it. Logitech support site fails to respond to user queries on this subject or fix the problem. M310 will act like a simple dumb mouse .. expect no customization beyond what Windows will give you.

    Maybe this was just a defective one, but this mouse never worked well. It was erratic and slow and only worked a few kinds of surfaces. Maybe that's why it was on sale. I went back to using my old Microsoft wireless mouse, which has the awkwardly long USB stick. I finally got a new Anywhere wireless mouse by Logitech which works infinitely better.

    The problem with this mouse is that I have to use it with the wireless receiver that as sent along with it. It will not work with the wireless receiver that as sent along with my HP wireless keyboard. The keyboard has the same problem. So I think they both suck. One receiver should run both the mouse & the keyboard.

    The mouse worked fine the first month, and then suddenly stopped working. We've tried it on multiple laptops, and it won't work on any of them. Very disappointed. I've owned other Logitech mice, and have been pleased with all of them. I think I just got a lemon with this one.

    I have always used Logitech products and have high regard for them. However, this time it refused to work (I was replacing a larger version). I changed the battery and switched out the dongle with one that works and still no joy.

    The first logitech mouse worked fine for 6 months and then slowed down. Finagling didn't help, nor did new batteries accomplish anything. So I bought another one ... and this one did work at all. Thanks to Best Buy I got my money back and am back to using a wired mouse.

    put in 3 new batteries on 1st mouse. failed within 10 seconds each time. had to go to store to get a replacement. replacement did same thing.Rep said they might have gotten a bad batch. She witness the failure.

    It stopped working soon after I purchased it. Dealing with Logitech was a horror to get it replaced. You would think it was worth a ton of money. I finally gave up and purchased a different mouse

    The first few days I had it, my son went through a battery a day. After that, it just stopped working altogether. I'm not sure if it was the battery compartment itself, but it's trash now. I bought him a new mouse that isn't cordless.

    My first wireless mouse and I am not happy with it at all. Downloaded the driver and still works very poorly. It works best on my knee, if you can understand that. I am planning on returning and getting another.

    Logitech - M310 Wireless Optical Mouse - Peacock Blue has stopped working after 24 hours. I replaced the batteries at no avail. Hard to return the mouse when the packaging was destroyed while opening the box.

    Mine was dead on arrival. Piece was broken where the battery goes in. It was probably just bad luck that mine was busted, but qq should have picked that up imho. Returning.

    I would not recommend this product. It broke within a couple of months of buying it. The mouse would also not connect with the computer via the Bluetooth.
