I purchased this Logitech Mouse because it had a very long battery life and offers a four directional control wheel for scrolling in all directions. I like the shut off switch on the bottom with green/red indicator for on/off. I also appreciate the space that exists under the bottom cover which houses the usb connectivity dongle. The mouse is wireless and comfortable to use for long periods of time.

Logitech - M510 Wireless Laser Mouse - Review: It is adjustable via the 'ELAN' Pointing Device software on my laptop. The battery has been in use for MONTHS ... even though I often forget to turn the mouse off - my bad. I have a long cpu bench and the mouse is often 2-3 feet away from the receiver without any 'signal' problem. VERY Satisfied with this product.

Worked right out the box. Smooth and comfortable. One caveat: Its not as dark as pictured, otherwise I'm very happy with it

My mouse has a great response on a solid surface. I don't need a mouse pad anymore. Also, it covers a lot of screen with a minimum amount of movement, in other words, the mouse is quite sensitive. Great value for the money.

Good full-size mouse but not often on sale. I really like the extra buttons.

Gives me the freedom to move away from the desk too. We have a photography business and when doing a presentation this mouse allows me to sit near the client (away from my desk) but still operate what is on the computer, which is being viewed through a projector. Has made my job so much easier!

This latest version of the M510 is an update from the two that I already own. Tracks over nearly anything, (haven't had a chance to use it on the clear glass coffee table). One of the best features is the "auto-sleep" function... If you forget to turn it off, it will shut down, saving power, and instantly come to life when you go to use it again. Feels good, fits my hand, nice click action.

Good quality mouse with smooth response and comfortable grip. Love the extra bells and whistles to scroll left and right with the roller. And how can you not like that color combination of ultra sonic blue and black!

This is a product that I will repurchase. It feels good, but there are not many colors.

Bought this to replace an old mouse i had. I have always trusted Logitech but was a bit wary about such a cheap device. Once plugged my computer pick it up with no issues, pointing is precise and the customizable buttons work great for what I do. Light weight, the scroll wheel works fine although is not as fine as with some of the upscale models. Overall a good performer, excelent choice for traveling work.

Has a good grip and a connectivity is great, only "but" is the actual color, is not like the advertised at all. Still I got it for the use and not the color.

Very helpful and works great if you are just a college student and trying to get a perfect size mouse.

No problems with this mouse. There is no delay or lag and can’t imagine what else I would need it to do.

I've been using a Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0 for years but when the office upgraded to new desks with a glass top on them, my Intellimouse had difficulties tracking correctly. Got this wireless mouse based on other reviews and am pleasantly surprised -- most of my experiences with wireless mice were early on and they had a lot of "stutters" or "connection drop-outs" but I haven't noticed any with this Logitech mouse. It has none of the difficulties that my Intellimouse had tracking on my glass-top desk and it feels okay in my hand -- it feels a bit more cramped than the Intellimouse as my hands are a little on the large side, so my hand doesn't "rest" on the Logitech quite as easily as on the large Intellimouse. The scroll wheel also feels more "clunky" than the very smooth wheel on the Intellimouse, as does the "click" of the scroll wheel, and the forward/back buttons on the thumb-side feel just a tad off location-wise. Still, these are all pretty minor complaints considering it actually WORKS on my desk and the Intellimouse does not. The side-scroll (tilt wheel) functionality is quite neat, though my I had to install the SetPoint software on Logitech's website as the default Win7 drivers recognized the tilt-wheel and set it to "scroll 3 lines" per tilt, but nothing would actually happen when I tried tilting the wheel. After installation of the SetPoint software, though, it works as it should. I have to say, I really like the blue color of this mouse, too. And having one less wire to run behind my desk is really nice! Overall, happy with my purchase for this price, though I might end up trying out a larger Logitech wireless mouse in the future. Oh, and the unifying receiver sounds like it is great if you have other Logitech wireless devices like a keyboard, but I do not so I cannot comment on it in practice. I also purchased the grey version of this mouse as a backup, but I definitely like this blue color better.

The size and shape of the mouse helps a lot ro prevent strain on the fingers and hand. I have big hands but I think it would work good with both small and big hands with its ergonomic shape. The weight seemed lighter than the previous version of the M510 (I have an old version of this mouse that is why I bought it again because it is very comfortable to use even with prolonged use). I think I like the old version better because I have more control of the cursor with the weight. The product is solidly built. I think I will be using this for a long time. I had my old one for maybe a year now with no issues and I haven't changed the battery yet. I actually bought two of this new version when it went on sale. Got tired of transferring one mouse between three laptops. It was a great buy for 14.99 each.

This is by far the best wireless mouse for the money. The Logitech M510 Wireless Mouse is an excellent mouse for anyone and everyone. Is has a nice, tactile scroll wheel and L/R buttons. It includes thumb buttons, which is why I consider it a gaming compatible mouse, but those are also handy for internet browsing and other programs as well. The mouse tracks really well and it has not once lost connection to the USB receiver. It feels relatively heavy, making it stable on my mouse pad and allows extra precision - as well as just giving it a quality feel. It is not too large nor too small - it really is just the right size and would fit any sized hand very comfortably. The M510 is also rated for up to 24 months of battery life with 2AA batteries which is absolutely amazing (and it includes 2 Duracell batteries!). Windows 10 detected the mouse immediately and installed the appropriate drivers - this is plug and play, no issues. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, trusted brand, quality mouse. There is simply nothing out there that can match this price for what you get.

I was in the market for a wireless portable mouse for my work laptop and the m510 has fit my needs. It's light weight, fits in my laptop bag and is easy to plug and play into other devices with the unifying adapter. Unlike some laptop mice this one has back and forward buttons along which is a plus in my book! Hoping the battery life is what it claims. 24 months on 2 AAs will be amazing. I was disappointed to see some battery wear upon first activating the mouse. So I'm guessing I'll be replacing original batteries sooner than 24 months.
