    Even works on leather!

When I found this mouse I was looking for one that would work on my leather sofa. I already had a Logitech mouse that would not track on the leather so I always had to use something it would track on. I was leaning towards the Anywhere mouse, but the price was a lot higher. The description made this one sound like a viable option and the price was right (it was on sale at the time) so I gave it a try. It works great even on the leather! My one complaint would be the scroll wheel. Most scroll wheels "click" or at least have some sort of resistance. This one is free wheeling so you can easily scroll past what you're looking for. Overall I am still very happy with this purchase.

This mouse is easy to connect and use, with no set up needed out of the box (I use it with Windows, Linux, and Android tablet devices, and bought another one recently for my wife to use with her Mac). The USB receiver is small and unobtrusive and can be stored inside the mouse. Battery life so far is really good- I've been using it daily for about 10 months on the original batteries. Most importantly, the onscreen mouse pointer is responsive and moves smoothly without any jerkiness or hesitation (I had this issue with wireless mice from other manufacturers- very annoying).

Needed to upgrade all equipment after almost 10 years with Dell desktop. Bought a Dell laptop but could not get use to no mouse to fly around screen. I always buy my electronic stuff (TVs, Computer equip., any new gadgets I want) at my Best Buy store as there is so much new tech stuff I can hardly figure out what would fit my needs anymore. I simply tell the sales person what I need and my price range and I am shown a variety of items and how they work. This was no exception. There is a little gadget that simply plugs into a port and the mouse simply works. I do not even have to remove the gadget when I put the laptop away for the day. Mouse works perfectly.

I bought a mouse from an online retailer it stopped working after a week. they issued an R M A but it cost the same as the purchase price to send it back. Shopping online at Best Buy is easy with a great selection and prices and if there is a problem it's a short trip to the local store. This Logitech mouse was so easy to install just put in the batteries plug the transponder in the USB port and it's working. It has a comfortable hand feel and is smooth and responsive on all surfaces with no wire to get tangled. The buttons and wheel are also as smooth and with laser technology there is no track ball to wear or clean.

I seem to have a deep entropy well surrounding mice I buy that expresses itself as a gravity hotspot. Those darn things are always crashing to the floor at high G forces. A few of the mice I have had have been reasonably resistant to these mysterious forces, while others cease to function after only a few such events. This particular mouse has a) resisted the heightened gravity field better than most of my previous mice, and b) endured the high G's quite well so far when needed. Apparently the Logitech engineers have come up with ways to circumvent the laws of gravity in ways that result in a more durable mouse.

I love this mouse. I've been using one for the past 4 years and just bought a second one for another office. The battery life is great. I think I've had to change the battery twice in 4 years and I use it daily for work. It's small and portable, too, without being too small for everyday use. The wireless connectivity also works great. I have no issues with loss of signal. Also if you want to use one receiver with multiple mice and/or keyboards that works great, too. I have two offices that I work from and have a wireless keyboard and mouse at each office and they both work with the same receiver.

    Small mouse

The mouse is relatively easy to get working; I just had to download their Unifying software, and it was ready to go. Operation is smooth whether on a mouse pad or a hard surface. There is some pointer skipping when loading web pages, but it's not too bad. The ability to tilt the scroll wheel to go backward or forward in the browser is nice. The only thing I don't like about the mouse is the size. I have average to small hands for a female, but the mouse just feels small. I even chose the 525 because it was larger than the 325, but it's still too small. It's roughly 4" long and 2 1/4" wide. Sadly, it's going back.

I love this mouse - bought this to replace an old one that had become glitchy. It's no gaming mouse, but for everyday use it is great. My last mouse had a clicky wheel, this one doesn't - I almost took it back, but I thought I should give it a try and now I much prefer the free wheel. Battery life is good - 2 batteries rather than 1 (the first thing I look for), it's fast and accurate and heavy enough to really feel you control it. I have the unifying receivers on each computer and laptop so I can take my mouse with me - it's a small thing but I can work much faster when I don't have an unfamiliar mouse.

    I liked the M325 Better

I went in to replace my Logitech M325 & was hoping to get another one. All my local BB store had was everything other than black. This was the same price, so I did the whole "It is a higher model number, same price, should be better." It is good, don't get me wrong, but the M325 just seemed sturdier to me & I can tell the rubber pads on the bottom of the 325 were better as this one isn't as smooth as that one was. It just feels a tad bit cheaper to me. The mouse scroll is smooth, however you can feel a little detente in it just slightly. I preferred the old smooth scrolling of the M325.

I use W7 on a quad core Cyberpower computer, 4G RAM. This mouse is erratic, often stopping. When I try to select for copy, it will disconnect in the middle of the process then drag the already selected text to another place in the document. On Facebook it is virtually unusable. I replaced the batteries, reinstalled the software, moved the settings around, "unpaired" then "repaired" it. Only temporary fixes. It doesn't like my mouse pads, any of them. I worked marginally on the wooden desk top. All in all I'd say "FAIL" I had such high hopes for this handsome logitech device. I am returning it and I do NOT recommend it.

Great little mouse! I used to have the V320, which is an older and very similar model, and i'm guessing this M525 is a successor to V320. I got the M525 on sale, and for the price of 24.99 you can't beat the quality. The mouse has on/off switch and the battery cover opener at the bottom. Once you open the cover, you can also store the unifying nano receiver right there. Bluetooth would have been a better option, but no big deal. Overall quality little mouse, and easy to use even for longer periods of time. My laptop has a touch pad, but for light gaming i got this mouse, and very happy with it.

I'm a gamer, so when I bought this mouse I had high hopes. The price before sale was around 40. I bought it on deal of the day for a little under 20. You would figure a 40 dollar mouse would be better. At the price of 20 dollars, this mouse is great for people who so anything else but game. It has a forward and back button for internet browsing on the left hand side. And although there is two battery slots, it only requires one to function. Main point, on sale good mouse for non gamers. Normal price, you can find better for 40, even if you're not a gamer.

I like this mouse. I had the Logitech Couch Mouse prior to this. I expected to get another Couch Mouse, but could not find one. This mouse said it worked on various surfaces, and it does, very much like the Couch Mouse. I use it on my chair arm or in my lap and it works well. I like that it is available in red. The only thing I am disappointed in, is the wheel. The Couch Mouse wheel had a smooth rolling wheel or you could push it in and click to a more tactile, more controlled rolling. I liked the more controlled choice, but this mouse does not have that choice.

I bought this mouse to use with a new laptop. The primary features that caught my attention were the tilt wheel (for web browsing and sideways scrolling), Bluetooth, on/off switch, long battery life, and invisible laser. I like it enough that I'm considering buying one to replace my desktop computer mouse. The scroll wheel is smooth (no clicking) allowing for more control when scrolling. The tilting wheel is very convenient to browse web pages (back & forward). It's very responsive for gaming, no lag, and of course works well for all my office and graphics applications.

I have used Logitech mice for a couple of decades now. I think this is my fourth wireless one. I was a little wary of the gloss look, rather than a matter finish, and the prominent, newer logo but I'm glad that didn't dissuade me. The mouse tracks well, clicks are easy and crisp, the feel of the mouse in my hand is perfect, and I love the battery life. I'm not a PC gamer so I can't speak to it's value there but for Internet, office applications, and graphics software, it has been just right.

I've owned several of these over the years. They will honestly last about 2-3 years before they start having a "double click" issue (the button will register single clicks as double clicks every so often). However, during those 2 years, it's been one of the best and most responsive mouse I've ever used, and is able to work on different surfaces. I've tried other mice on the market and always ended up returning them and buying one of these. It's priced well enough to warrant purchasing a new one every few years if you can get it on sale.

This is a very sensitive mouse--especially for someone used to the old style, corded mouse (I know, ancient, right?). At first, I wanted to turn down the sensitivity since the slightest movement seemed to result in far more movement on the screen than I wanted. After a week or so, though, I got used to it and am now up to speed with the rest of the world. I do keep forgetting to turn it off, though. They should make one that activates on when it's moved and off when it's been still for > 1 hour. Maybe that already exists but this one doesn't do that.

For MacBook Pro 10.6.8, you can plug it in & go, BUT buttons and wheel cannot be configured. To me worthless without being able to program the buttons ! I have a Logitech M305 that works great, I was able to configure all the buttons & scroll wheel. Don't get why other Logitech mice won't configure with MacBook Pro 10.6.8 I was just looking for something a little better, but so far have not found a wireless mouse that will configure with my MacBook Pro ! I keep looking, may try Logitech Anywhere mouse, or maybe if I upgrade to Mountain Lion I may have more luck.

Not much to say, great quality, great price, durable and all around great product. I have been buying Logitech mice, speakers and keyboards for literally years. I own 3 laptops and two desktops, both desktop have combo wireless keyboard and mouse. All my laptops have Logitech mice. One laptop has lousy speakers so I purchased an external speaker and I love it. Did I mention I have two headsets and two clip on video cameras, all from Logitech. No I do not work for them or am affiliated in any way other than being a customer. Hope this helps.

This is a great mouse to use for almost about everything. Plus whats great is I got this mouse on sale. This mouse is very easy to set up. There is a little device almost similar to a thumb drive but for the mouse. To access the device, there is a "switch" you pull down and the bottom half of the mouse will pop out. Then you turn on the switch and your all good to go. Also, the battery life is excellent, only because I don't use it 24/7. Overall, this is a great mouse if your using it for online use or anything else.
