I recently acquired the Logitech M720 Triathlon Wireless Optical Mouse in Black, and I must say that it has exceeded my expectations in every way. As someone who relies heavily on a mouse for work, productivity, and occasional gaming, I found the M720 to be an ideal companion that seamlessly adapts to my varied needs. Design and Comfort: The first thing that caught my attention was the ergonomic design of the M720. The mouse fits comfortably in my hand, providing a relaxed grip that minimizes strain during extended usage sessions. The textured rubber grips on the sides offer excellent control and prevent any accidental slipping. The shape is ambidextrous, making it a suitable choice for both left- and right-handed users. The scroll wheel is well-placed and offers a satisfying tactile feedback, making scrolling through lengthy documents or web pages a breeze. Wireless Connectivity: The wireless performance of the M720 is outstanding. Its Bluetooth connectivity is seamless and quick to pair with multiple devices, and the Unifying USB dongle is a convenient option for those who prefer a more traditional connection. The ability to switch between three devices effortlessly with the Easy-Switch button is a game-changer for users who work across multiple screens or devices. This feature alone has significantly enhanced my workflow and productivity. Precision and Responsiveness: The optical sensor on the M720 delivers exceptional precision and accuracy. Whether I'm navigating through intricate design projects or engaging in fast-paced gaming, the mouse responds promptly to my every movement. The adjustable DPI settings provide additional control over sensitivity, catering to a wide range of tasks and preferences. Battery Life: One of the standout features of the M720 is its impressive battery life. Logitech claims up to 24 months of usage on a single AA battery, and my experience aligns with this claim. The intelligent power-saving technology ensures that the mouse conserves energy during periods of inactivity, extending the battery life even further. This is particularly convenient for individuals who often forget to turn off their peripherals.

For a budget-friendly wireless mouse, the Logitech M720 Triathlon offers an impressive mix of comfort, build quality, and functionality. I tend to prefer heavier mice, and the M720 fits the bill perfectly. It feels solid in hand, not too small, and comfortable enough to use for extended periods. Personally, I’d rather carry a larger mouse than deal with the discomfort of using a smaller one, and this one strikes the perfect balance for me. The performance of the M720 is fantastic, especially when it comes to multi-device switching. I use it to switch between my work computer and my Surface Book, and the switch happens almost instantly without any hassle. This feature has been a lifesaver in managing multiple devices efficiently. One of the best features is the battery life. With daily 8-hour use, I’ve gotten at least 6 months out of a single charge on some relatively small rechargeable batteries from Amazon. That kind of longevity is exactly what you want in a wireless mouse, and the M720 delivers. In terms of usability, the setup process was straightforward, and the mouse works smoothly right out of the box. While the software is functional and adequate for basic customization, I do wish it offered a bit more flexibility for personalizing the buttons and features to suit my workflow. I loved this mouse so much that I actually bought two—one for work and another for home use with my mobile devices. It’s worth noting that I don’t use it for gaming on my desktop setup, where I prefer a wired mouse. However, for day-to-day tasks, the scroll wheel action is particularly fantastic, allowing me to zip through long documents (such as 100MB text log files) with ease, which has been a major benefit for my work. In conclusion, the Logitech M720 Triathlon is an awesome mouse for general use. It’s reliable, comfortable, and offers great value for its price. I’d highly recommend it to anyone needing a versatile, multi-device mouse for work or home.

I'm so happy I went with this mouse. After extensive research, I finally landed on the Triathlon and it was a great decision. The size is perfect. I can't stand when a mouse is too small as I have large hands and fingers. This fits nice and comfortably in my hand. The customizable buttons are great and the wheel with the click lock feature is a nice added touch. Smooth scrolling, responsive movement. And at a decent price for all these features. I had to fiddle with the Bluetooth a little bit to get it to connect with my laptop but only for like 5 minutes. Still, as a backup it has the USB dongle which it can connect to but luckily I didn't need to use it. Also, DEFINITELY install the Logitech Options software. You can customize the mouse to your liking including which features your mouse's buttons can control and pointer speed and things like that. That being said, I noticed significant difference when I changed to pointer speed to the max level. For me the default setting was just not quite cutting it. It was ok at best, but now it's much better. Maybe that's just my opinion though. But I gotta say I love the fact that I can pick and choose to control things like volume controls or screen brightness among a variety of other options just from my mouse. Pretty neat feature built into the software they offer. I love this thing.

Great mouse, especially if you planning to use on more than one device. This one actually pairs with 3 devices . The price is particularly good for the features.. 3 devices, has Bluetooth and USB via unifying receiver, smooth scrolling, customizable buttons, decent size for travel, regular battery with long life, and overall build and comfort . There are other good mice.. MX Master and Anywhere if cost is not a factor ..2-3 times prices than this one.

I never thought I’d fall in love with a mouse, but here we are. The Logitech M720 Triathlon is the Swiss Army knife of mice. It can switch between three devices with the click of a button — which is great, because I apparently live in the 2030s where I juggle a work laptop, a personal laptop, and a tablet, all while wondering why my coffee’s cold. Battery life? I don’t even know how it’s still running. I think I installed the battery during the last ice age. Logitech says two years, but I’m convinced it runs on good vibes and ambition. It’s also weirdly comfortable — like, “did they mold this to my hand while I was asleep?” comfortable. The scroll wheel is a multitool in itself: super fast when you’re doom-scrolling, and precise when you’re pretending to be productive. I’ve used a lot of mice, but this one’s a keeper. It’s loyal, efficient, and doesn’t judge me when I open 42 Chrome tabs. Honestly, if it had legs, I’d take it for walks.

Very solid wireless mouse for productivity and light gaming with great battery life. Pros: feels good in hand, high quality buttons and scroll wheel, great choice of buttons (task switcher thumb button, forward and back thumb buttons), left-right tilt scrolling, option for super-fast scrolling, customizability options with Logitech Options, wireless with dongle and Bluetooth, Logitech Flow, upwards of a year of battery life with one AA battery. Cons: I had a few accidental right clicks with this mouse the first week of using it. Tl;dr Great budget-friendly option for a high quality wireless mouse with good software, multiple buttons, and great battery life. This is great for productivity, especially if you need to use more than one computer, and will be perfectly fine for casual gaming.

The Logitech M720 Triathlon is a wireless mouse designed for users who need a reliable and versatile input device. With a comfortable design and customizable buttons, this mouse is suitable for both work and play. One of the standout features of the M720 Triathlon is its ability to connect to up to three different devices via Bluetooth or an included USB receiver. This makes it easy to switch between your laptop, desktop, and tablet without having to constantly re-pair your mouse. The mouse also has a long battery life, which is a major plus for users who are always on the go. The M720 Triathlon's design is comfortable and ergonomic, with a curved shape that fits nicely in your hand. The textured rubber grips on the side provide added comfort and control. The mouse is also lightweight and easy to move around, making it a good choice for extended use. The mouse features customizable buttons that can be programmed to perform specific functions, which is a nice touch for power users who want to streamline their workflow. Additionally, the scroll wheel has a smooth action and can be toggled to click or free-scroll, making it a versatile option for both navigating documents and scrolling through web pages. Overall, the Logitech M720 Triathlon is a solid choice for anyone in need of a reliable wireless mouse. Its versatile connectivity options, comfortable design, and customizable buttons make it a good choice for both work and play.

I came from using the M705 mouse twice over the past 15 years or so and was looking for an upgrade. The M720 is a nice way to go. It is a tad heavier and bigger but I also have larger hands so, ergonomically, it feels better. The weight increase itself is not noticeable. The functionality of multidevice through Bluetooth and dongle support is a phenomenal feature and is quick to switch. I thought the switch button might be accidently pressed when using the other 2 mouse buttons, but it is conveniently out of the way. Also, I like button in the thumb because it was a feature in the original M705 I missed when they did the upgrade. I can't speak for longevity yet but the price is good and it is a solid mouse. I mainly use it for office work, networking at home, and tinkering with coding on the RPI so the multidevice switch is very useful. Highly recommend

The Logitech M720 is a jack of all trades, and I mean that in a good way. The basics are solid: the mouse has a reliable connection over both Bluetooth and the unifying receiver, tracks well on most surfaces without the use of a mousepad, and has a good button feel. Moreover, there are a few features that set this mouse apart from most others: Ergonomics. This mouse is one of the most comfortable mice I have used: it is ergonomic (for right-handed people) and pleasantly midsize, unlike some other mice like the MX Master 2S, and the build quality and grip is excellent. Battery Life. 24 months is the claim: I have not used the mouse for that long, but the battery seems to hold up well. The Scroll Wheel. I personally find it necessary to have Logitech's dual-mode scroll wheel based on what type of scrolling I'm doing. Beyond this, there is the feature to connect to multiple devices, which I don't use personally but could be helpful. Moreover, this stellar combination doesn't break the bank, at $20 as I bought it, which is one fifth of the price of the MX Master 2S. tl;dr very satisfied with the purchase, and if mice are to your tastes, this is probably the best combination of quality, features, and price on the market.

I specifically needed a bluetooth mouse and this Logitech is one of the lower priced models they offer. I didn't know it would be so good. In particular it glides extremely smoothly across a desk and is the normal high quality that you expect from Logitech. The buttons feel good to click with just the right amount of force and "click". The scroll wheel is AMAZING. There are two modes for the wheel, controlled by the little button just south of it on the mouse. When the button is "in", the scroll wheel ratchets: click, click, click, click, click, as you turn it. This is good for precision scrolling. When the button is in the out position, the wheel spins free. ...and it's weighted. So just flick the wheel and it spins and spins. Which is awesome for scrolling all the way to the top of a page, or all the way to the bottom of a page. Just a little finger flick and it scrolls super fast. The shape and feel of the mouse are nearly perfect for me. Bluetooth makes it really easy to connect for laptops and some desktops. The included RF receiver makes it work with essentially any computer wirelessly. I've been using computers and working with them as a job for more than 30 years now. Generally speaking, I don't install any software that's included with things like this. That software is normally a waste of space, a waste of time, and makes things worse overall. I'm sure some of you know what I mean by this. But in this case, the LogiOptions software is actually VERY useful. This is extra surprising because I use a Mac and the Mac versions of these types of software are usually EXTRA BAD. Not in this case. LogiOptions is very useful and has changed the wan I navigate. I highly recommend both this mouse and the LogiOptions software.

This product is ergonomically designed to be comfortable with my crippled hand. It has a switch on the bottom that turns off the draining of the battery power when not in use. It moves smoothly across surfaces. It is large enough to make room for all fingers. The wheel has just enough resistance to allow accurate use. The buttons are sturdy enough for your fingers to rest on them but still respond to light pressure effectively. There is nothing I dislike about it. I use it on a very small table with a 15.6 inch computer and one hand span on the right with the mouse and 1.5 handstands on the left for paperwork. It is the best mouse I've ever had. I use it about 2-4 hours daily.

This is my favorite mouse. I work on the road and I lost an older Logitech mouse. This one works so much better. There is a button you can press to switch between click or no click on the scroll wheel, and you can connect it to up to three devices Bluetooth or with the dongle that is included. The battery life seems like forever. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable mouse for bigger hands.

This is absolutely the best mouse I've ever owned. I've been involved with PC's and technology for over 35 years, and have owned countless mice, trackballs and trackpads over that period. My go-to pointing device has been the Logitech Marble trackball, and it still drives my desktop system. But I also spend a lot of time on the road as a field service engineer using primarily an HP ZBook 15 workstation, and was never quite satisfied with the current crop of BT-enabled mice. I sort of settled on the HP x400B BT, but the scroll wheel was never that good and I had other minor quibbles with it. When I spotted the Logitech M720 I decided to give it a try. WOW!! What a difference. Granted, it has a large profile but that's one aspect I do appreciate. Small footprint mobile mice become very uncomfortable to use even for short periods, and after a couple of hours they will yield hand cramps that make work seem like WORK. As soon as I put the M720 to use, it was a revelation. This thing is like moving from an ultra-compact economy car into a 3-row SUV. It's ergonomics are superb, and it couldn't be easier to connect and configure. All my laptops are BT-enabled, so I can't speak to operation with the supplied wireless dongle (conveniently stowed in the mouse right next to the battery compartment), but if it's anything like the Bluetooth connectivity, it too should be superb. And I haven't begun to explore the myriad of button / wheel customizations that are available. As far as I'm concerned the M720 is perfect right out of the box. Due to its size, folks with small-ish hands may find it unwieldy so keep that in mind. But for me this is my new go-to traveling companion. If I could, I would give the M720 6 stars. Logitech knocked this one out of the park.

Logitech products have been a choice for many years. Many to most have held up over the years and some not so much. This mouse replaces an M500 when the right-click failed. This mouse was chosen mainly for its larger size and replaceable batteries. I do not like rechargeable batteries especially when not replaceable along with shorter life cycles between charges. This mouse boasts a 2 year battery life which is consistent with previous Logitech mice purchased and this is for a single AA battery. This mouse has a comfortable weight and size better suited for my usage. It has a multi-device feature which I probably will never use but a nice feature if this is important to you. It has a scroll lock which is typically not used in my case. I prefer the free wheel scrolling and it really glides. The mouse clicks are accurate. The right-click has a different sound to it than the left. The right seems a little louder. The right and left click button are rather large and easily pressed. There are two buttons for the right and left click whereas on the previous model used it had a solid button for both right and left click. It does have an on and off switch on the bottom if that's of benefit to you. There are three buttons to the side that I never use or program. They don't cause any interference when using the mouse. The top and majority of the mouse is black. The bottom is white. Would prefer it to be all black but the white portion is very thin but visible. I would prefer if Logitech made all their mice with a replaceable battery option. Some of their "higher" models are only replaceable and although the ergonomics seem a better fit they lose me on the rechargeable batteries. It's a nice mouse for the price and hope to get a lot of use out of it.

This is a very good bluetooth mouse. If you prefer a dongle or if your pc don't have bluetooth (I think BT4) the dongle works well too. This mouse has customizable buttons on the side. There are three buttons but only two of them can be customized as the last one (the one nearest the back of the mouse) is for selecting which PC you want to connect to. That's another great feature.... it can connect to 3 PCs and toggle between them using that button. It feels good in the hand and the wheel has a clutch ( the button on the top) that can be disengaged for very high speed scrolling. Overall, its a very good feeling and working mouse.
