Better than the first one that the arrow bounced all over the screen, so I'm keeping this one only because I don't want to keep returning and purchasing only to find they're all like this. MO time.

Overall there is no much complain. Exception is sometimes the wheel acts too fast, making a bit difficult to go through pages using the wheel to scroll down larger pages. Aside from that, the buttons are good in response when clicking on them and quite reliable and fast when moving the mouse around the screen.

The wheel is difficult to control. I have hard time in moving the cursor. I replaced with a cheaper one which works lot better.

The scroll wheel on this mouse is way too sloppy. Pages constantly drift because of this. It's difficult to have quck form filling because you can barely get the pointer to stay in one spot.

I am on my third one of these. Fits my hand like a glove (I have bigger hands so some of the smaller mice are difficult to use). This mouse is a little bigger than some others but it has great customizability with the SetPoint software that comes with it.

I had some difficulties getting the mouse set up. Probably software issues with the PC I was using. Mouse doesn't work on any surface. I would use a mouse pad.

I've used this mouse for the past 6 years and I think it is excellent. It is high enough to not strain the hand too much. There is very little input lag if any at all. I've used it for gaming and haven't had problems. The only problem with this mouse I found is the button underneath the thumb is hard to press.

Have this mouse at home for several years. Mouse supplied at wotk is wired and hard to work with when used to wireless mouse. Solution, buy one for work even if not on sale. Like it that much. Great feel and useful buttons.

bought this to help with ergonomics. too much time with standard lenovo mouse in hand was aggravating my tennis elbow. this seems to help. deducted one star due to inaccuracy of mouse when in smooth scrolling mode. when in ratcheted scrolling mode, accuracy is not an issue.

    Comfortable With Great Battery

Got this mouse for use at work after my old wireless one started freaking out. This was pretty easy to setup and get going. It's really comfortable and I have wrist issues so that matters. Battery life has been fantastic on month 12 of daily use and haven't replaced it yet. I really like having the forward/back button and the additional "squeeze" button on the thumb. Only reason I am docking a star is because when you switch from between having the incremental/click on the scroll wheel versus to smooth scroll it get's too easy. I like to have free scroll on most mouses but this one is too fluid and makes it hard to avoid over scrolling.

First, off there is no doubt this is an awesome mouse. It has some really awesome features and tons of people love this mouse. The reason I returned it was because it didn't fit my hand well. More specifically, I tend to physically pick up my mouse with my thumb and pinkie finger to reposition it. This mouse was really hard for me to naturally pick it up and reposition like that. It cramped my hand when I did. I also noticed that there isn't a lot of support for the lower palm of your hand which I like. So I returned it and purchased the Logitech 510 which corrected both of these issues for me. Love that mouse.

    Unusable

This mouse scrolls on its own, making it impossible to use for any type of editing. The screen view jumps up and down, and zooms in an out on its own because the mouse is spuriously sending the message to move. The underlying root is that the scroll wheel has too much momentum and is very difficult to stop from rolling. It rolls on its own even by the motion of moving the mouse in other ways. In order to make it through the week with it I've had to spend way too much time and effort to slow the wheel before making my next move with the mouse. It takes forever to make sure it's in the right position before I can click and do what I need to do with the mouse. I need a mouse with a wheel so there's no point in just disabling the wheel. I've given it a week and have had enough. I plan to give it away and get something else.

    Wonderful Workplace Wireless Marathon Mouse

I purchased this mouse to replace the rope-a-dope $20 mice they were providing me at work. For not much more than that, I got a nice wireless mouse (that hasn't run out of batteries since purchase so far). The Marathon has a great feel and heft in hand, which lends to a good impression of high build quality (I'm not taking it apart to verify though). I appreciated the very small size of the wireless dongle (it protrudes about 4 mm), I left it plugged into the side of my laptop for several weeks, and it never caught on anything. The primary right, middle, and left buttons have a nice tactile response. I feel the forward/back buttons on the side of the mouse are slightly small and hard to hit, but not enough such that I feel that it requires deducting points for the mouse's design. The infinite scroll feature on the mouse-wheel is great when navigating large data structures, and even when in normal mouse-scroll mode, the wheel has a great weight and feel to it. Since I use this mouse at work, I can't really speak to it's gaming performance, but I would say that I generally prefer a mouse with a larger size and shape for gaming purposes. As the Marathon mouse is nominally targeted at mobile usages, its size is slightly smaller than a "standard" size mouse. Overall, I find using this mouse to be a huge step up in experience over the previous mice I was using at work. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a compact, long-lasting wireless mouse.
