The characters are painted on the keys, not certain how long they will be visible. For now ok. Would have spent more $$ if a higher quality specimen had been on display.

The old keyboard started loosing connection or at least stopped responding for seconds to a minute. The mouse still responded during that time. It wasn't batteries. This keyboard/mouse combo is the best level of bells and whistles. I did look at other products but they were either too basic or for gamers. This updated version has a much smaller dongle than the previous one I had so I like that.
