More importantly, it eliminates the limitations of using my laptop's tiny keys and fairly unresponsive keypad; also allows me to work from a more comfortable position since I don't have to be sitting right at the laptop. And since I never really got used to the little fingerboard that passes for a mouse on my laptop, this lets me use a comfortable and familiar alternative. Best electronics money I've spent in a long time.

It seems bigger than the last one I had, which I liked, but I am getting used to this one and do not have any problems. I really like the keyboard and mouse only having to have one chip to run both. I really wish the Home/End, Page Up/Page Down, and Delete buttons were arranged in a more standard layout. I use them all the time to navigate through text, and it will take me a long time to get used to them.
