    Disappointed with the Dongle

Hi, Its been 2 months snice I purchased this product. No problem with the keyboard or the mouse. I liked it all. What disappointed me is after 2 months of use I just unplugged the USB dongle for the first time to plug it in to my other laptop and i see only the cap in my hand. The receiver was in the laptop. i do not have the ease of reusing this because it does not come together now. I need to pull it out. I am afraid it might stop working if I do this regularly. This is disappointing.

As a professional who spends countless hours on a computer, finding the right keyboard and mouse combination is crucial. The Logitech MK550 Ergonomic Full-size Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Bundle is a game-changer that offers both comfort and performance, making it a joy to use for extended periods. Design and Ergonomics: The first thing that caught my attention was the thoughtful ergonomic design of both the keyboard and mouse. The curved layout of the keyboard keeps my hands and wrists in a more natural position, reducing strain and fatigue. The cushioned palm rest is an excellent addition, allowing for a more relaxed typing experience. Similarly, the contoured shape of the mouse fits snugly into my hand, providing ample support and reducing the risk of repetitive strain injuries. The combination of the keyboard and mouse promotes better posture and comfort, ensuring long-term productivity without discomfort. Wireless Connectivity: The wireless connectivity of the MK550 bundle is exceptional. The advanced 2.4 GHz wireless technology guarantees a reliable connection without any noticeable input lag. I appreciate the freedom of movement it provides, as I can comfortably use the keyboard and mouse from a distance without any interruptions. Performance: Logitech has always been known for its exceptional build quality, and the MK550 bundle is no exception. The keys on the keyboard offer a satisfying tactile feedback, making typing a breeze. Furthermore, the keyboard boasts a whisper-quiet performance, which is perfect for quiet office environments or shared workspaces. The mouse tracks accurately on various surfaces, and the programmable buttons are a fantastic convenience for customizing shortcuts to suit my workflow. Battery Life: One of the highlights of this bundle is its impressive battery life. The keyboard and mouse can go months without needing a battery change. This not only reduces the hassle of frequent battery replacements but also contributes to its eco-friendly design. Customization and Compatibility: The MK550 bundle is highly customizable, allowing users to assign specific functions and shortcuts to the programmable keys and buttons. Logitech's SetPoint software offers intuitive customization options for seamless integration with my workflow. Additionally, the bundle is compatible with both Windows and macOS, making it suitable for a wide range of users. Final Thoughts: In conclusion, the Logitech MK550 Ergonomic Full-size Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Bundle is a premium peripheral package that ticks all the right boxes for comfort, performance, and reliability. Its ergonomic design helps reduce strain during extended use, while the wireless connectivity, impressive battery life, and customization options make it a top choice for anyone seeking a reliable and comfortable keyboard and mouse setup. I decided to buy this keyboard because I saw the great reviews on it. It’s rare I want to go out and buy something brand new or so I thought. Upon opening the box everything looked fishy like it was crammed into the box I thought no big deal. But as I keep look good the mouse and keyboard had their switches set to on and I also thought well as long as I have the receiver I can put some batteries. As I look for the receiver it’s nowhere to be found within the hidden compartment in the mouse or keyboard! So it looks like they gave me a returned model that clearly did not have all the pieces. Extremely disappointed I was so excited to just get up and start but now I have to drive another 20 min back to the store get a refund and still come back.

I've owned several of these Logitech 550 keyboard/mouse combinations at this point and have been very satisfied with them. They've performed very well and the ergonomic design makes it comfortable to type on. I especially like not having wires to contend with, so I can use the keyboard from the comfort of my easy chair. Batteries last for months and even up to a year too. The price is nice too, and I bought this last unit on sale. If I had any beef about it, it would be that the characters/numbers tend to fade with constant use over time, especially constantly used keys, like the period, comma. However, that is a malady common to most all keyboards I have used.

This is the fourth or fifth version of this keyboard/mouse combination I have bought over the years, so it's obvious that I like it. I find the ergonomic shape of the keyboard to be comfortable, it's easy to use, and has all the features and flexibility that a non-gamer will need. The wireless capability reduces the wires under and on top of my desk, and the batteries last a long time. I typically buy a new keyboard/mouse combination every year, and each time I look at what else is out there, but I haven't found anything that beats this set for price, comfort, features, and performance.

So far have had this product for a a couple months and it works really well. I like the fact that there are no chords and that the batteries last practically forever on each unit. The software does work with Windows 8.1 but you need to download it for the OS. (not a huge biggie..) Overall very pleased, set up was a breeze and works as expected and the macros are actually more handy than I thought they would be.. Now if someone could make some features on windows 8.1 (HINT HINT MICROSOFT) easier it would make this product even more useful, but not a ding on Logitech by any means, ding on windows for not opening up the backends app better. I use this primary for Windows and Unix Development and type on it pretty much all day - feels nice, works well, unbelievably has a good range and does not seem to disconnect like some of the past units I have had from other manufactures... Would recommend this for sure for both functionality, Quality and price point.

Like most people, I hope, I generally scan reviews, cnet, and complaints about each item. This item had a few things I needed. First it's wireless. Unlike my original Logitech wireless this is truly wireless. The first one purchased 8 years ago had a tethered sensor that needed to be close the the wireless keyboard and mouse. This new one only has a small usb adapter that can just be plugged in and left. Secondly was height adjustment. I know most have it but this helps when typing all day long. Third is comfort. The wave shape of the keyboard is unusual at first to someone old fashioned. However it is faster for me now. Add in the wrist pad and I can't complain. Lastly is durability and battery life. I use this at work 40 to 50 hours a week. Its showing no signs of wear. The batteries are the ones that came with it. That was a year ago. I would absolutely recommend this.

This is my second Logitech wave keyboard and mouse bundle, and I continue to highly recommend this product. I upgraded from a MK350 to this model to better work with Windows 11, but it also is great paired with a chromebook as well. The wireless feature makes this combo highly portable. The receiver plugs into the laptop and hooks up effortlessly using wi-fi connectivity. There are many function keys that use standard shortcuts or you can program them to handle all your shortcut needs. If you need a full size keyboard to handle all your tasks, then this is the one for you.

I've been using the MK550 combo for years. The M510 is my favorite mouse. It's small enough to travel with, but large enough to use comfortably. It has just the right array of buttons (if you've never used a mouse with forward and back buttons, I highly recommend trying one). I have always found the keyboard to be very comfortable to use and easy to type with. The additional buttons and controls are quite useful, particularly when you take the time to customize their operation using Logitech's software. The battery life on these things is insanely good. The Unifying Receiver system is easy to use and works quite reliably. The USB extension cable is a nice touch for those who need it. I use this set on both of my computers and I will buy it again if I ever need to.

I like the keyboard a lot. I tend to have to type a lot and the ergonomic wave does help with hand and wrist pain a bit. The buttons are nicely spaced apart and after a few minutes, you get used to typing on the wave like you would any keyboard with a slight variation from your usual one. I put batteries in it when I bought it two months ago and have not had to change them once... and to be honest, I often forget to turn my keyboard off. My biggest con to this keyboard is that there is no indication that caps lock is on aside from typing and getting all capital letters. Just a peeve of mine, personally, but I would recommend this to those who have wrist pain when typing and like the functionality of a wireless keyboard.

Great Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo

This is my second purchase of the Logitech Wave Combo mk 550, and I remain extremely pleased with both sets, used for both work and home computer systems. The keyboard has a great tactile feel, a comfortable padded wrist rest, and many shortcut keys you can either use or ignore. The mouse is large enough for my hand without being overly large, and is comfortable for hours of use. Both are easy on batteries and I have experienced no problems. One word of caution: the keyboard is very deep with the padded wrist rest (which is not removable), and may not fit some computer keyboard drawers. I cannot raise the back feet to angle the keyboard towards me and still close my keyboard drawer...not a problem for me, but some may not like that restriction.

Excellent combo unit in every way. Nice ergonomic design on both the mouse and keyboard. Easy on the mousing hand and easy typing weather you have a light or heavier keying touch. Every aspect of this combo seems to be built with quality and sturdiness. Easy to hook up without the wires to get in the way. Came in exactly as pictured and described.

Logitech makes good computer accessories. This wireless keyboard works great. Big white keys which one can see and don't need the light. Works out of box. small universal usb receiver works for both keyboard and mouse. Software allows to customize keys and mouse. Keyboard also has form pad at bottom so it helps for hands to rest on it. Very long battery life. I have looked at many keyboards and finally decided this combo was the best. I am happy that I bought from Bestbuy and they do price match that is plus extra. I recommend this combo to buy.

I have used Logitech products before, they make a nice, user friendly product. The keyboard is very comfortable, easy to use, easier to set up - just plug in the adapter and go. The wireless mouse is made for the palm of you hand, I am a righty so I cannot speak for the lefties out there. The heals of your palms fit comfortably on a padded rest, the keys are nicely spaced - I just find this a user friendly product with a variety of controls available.

    Comfortable ergonomic keyboard

I bought this keyboard because of the price, the numeric keypad, and it's ergonomic. The keys are comfortable, the spacing and feel of the keys makes this keyboard easy to use. Lots of functions that I haven't even begun to use. My one complaint is that you can't tell if the number lock or caps lock is on; but being battery operated, it makes sense that there are no little indicator lights on this keyboard. I sent an email to Logitech to see if there was a workaround to this (a screen display or something). Logitech responded quickly, suggesting a procedure, but it didn't work. Still, I'm good with this keyboard. It's great for the price.

I have had this keyboard/mouse combo for about a month now and it has been fairly good so far. I am using them with a Samsung all-in-one running windows 8.1. The first thing you will probably notice is the size of the keyboard. It is certainly larger than the notebook sized one that came with the computer, but also larger than any other standard keyboard I have used in the past. This is not a big deal to me, but if space is limited for you, it may be something to take into consideration. Installation is about as straightforward as it gets, just plug and play. Windows found the drivers and installed them automatically. This allows the keyboard to function, but some of the features will not work without the installation of Setpoint from Logitech website. Unfortunately for me, I have been unable to get Setpoint to work correctly, so I am still unable to use of some of the keyboard features, such as the applications switcher. I am not sure if I would use this or other features, but I will never know if they are not options. That being said, the volume and video playback controls work rather well and I find myself using them quite often. The keyboard itself is pretty comfortable and doesn’t strain my wrists like others in the past. The keys are a bit noisy and at moments there is some lag time, but that actually appears to be getting a bit better the more I use it. The included mouse is actually very nice and I am extremely happy with it. It is accurate and easy to maneuver. The forward/back browser buttons are also extremely convenient once you get used to using them. There are a few issues with the software, and hopefully I can get them figured out, but all in all the ergonomics are a pretty big step up compared to other keyboards/mouse I have used in the past.
