Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. The instructions are a joke, completely inadequate and the print is so tiny you need a magnifying glass to read them. The Logitech website asks for the Serial number, that is buried on the back of the keyboard. The typical function keys such as “Prt Scrn” or “Num loc” are absent and no information is provided as to how to perform these critical functions. Where are the instructions??
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Thank you for sharing your extremely frustrating experience with the MK955. We sincerely apologize for the inadequate instructions, the difficulty in locating the serial number, and the lack of clarity regarding essential function keys like 'Prt Scrn' and 'Num Lock'. We understand your disappointment with the setup process and the missing information.

The best keyboard and mouse combo you can get!

This review is on a Logitech Signature Slim MK955 Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Combo. The keyboard is a Signature Slim K950. The mouse is a Signature Plus M750. This is my new favorite mouse and keyboard. It comes in a nicely packaged box that doesn't waste much space. Upon opening you will find both of them wrapped in a thick cloth. In order to pull them out of the box you pull up on a built in tab that shows you where the bolt receiver is. The instructions on how to connect are written inside the box. It is very easy to connect. As soon as you search for Bluetooth devices the name shows up and you select it. After I added it, it automatically popped up a message asking if I wanted to install the Logi Options software made for it. I know everyone is different but I like small, thin, light and quiet keyboards. I don't like heavy, bulky and loud keyboards. It doesn't make a lot of sound when typing but there is still some. It doesn't take up much space but still has a full keyboard feel. The keys have a slight depression so it is comfortable to the touch. The F, J and 5 buttons have a raised spot on them so you know you have your fingers in the right spot. Now, the best feature of this combo for me is the ability to use it between three devices. All you have to do is select the assigned button to your device to switch it. On my main computer I only have one USB port in the front that was being used by a dongle for my old keyboard. I was having to constantly unplug it to use other devices since I can't get to the back of my PC due to location. This now solves that problem with Bluetooth so it frees up my USB port for other devices. If you still need to use a mouse and keyboard for boot menus then you will have to use the bolt receiver that it comes with. This also works great when connected to a Samsung phone using DeX. The Logi Options software further enhances the keyboard and mouse. You can customize button functions to do any function that you can program it to do. Simple use would be the two buttons on the side of the mouse that could be cut and paste or volume up and down. There are already options programmed into the keyboard like search, volume, play, and screen brightness. There are some new ones that I like such as Emoji, Dictation or Screen Capture. You can also program it to do different functions in different apps. You can even program it to do things like open multiple apps and keystrokes with one button through the Smart Action function. They have some pre-built templates you can download for this or you can create your own. Another great feature is if you are using two computers that are connected to the same network and using the Logi Options software, you can copy a file from one computer, drag your mouse over to the next computer and paste that file there. I would recommend this combo to anyone.

Sleek, Solid, and Sustainable

The Logitech MK955 Signature Slim combo comes with three items. A bolt dongle, K950 keyboard, and M750 mouse. With the one I've got the keyboard is two different tones of grey and the mouse is three different tones of grey. Both have a LED indicator and a on/off switch. I guess they are also made from recycled plastic which is pretty cool.
K950 Keyboard:
This keyboard supports both Logitech's bolt wireless tech and bluetooth so it can be used with basically any computer. I suggest you use the bolt dongle though as its better and is already paired out of the box. It takes two batteries. They include actual Duracell batteries in the device. The keyboard boasts a reassuring heft thanks to its high-quality build. Its sleek, slim, and overall looks really nice. It has two stances with adjustable legs. In both placements it has rubber feet so it doesn't move while in use.
The keys are low profile chicklet style with small amount of travel. It has the overall feel of a laptop but in a full sized keyboard. The keys are responsive and there is a little bit of noise when typing but they dont feel mushy at all. Note that there is no backlight which is probably the reason why its battery life is so long. So if you need to use this in low light environment this might not work well for you. You can flip the F keys without the software by pressing function + escape. I did this right away as I need the F keys as primary. The added options built into the F keys are a lot like what you see on laptops and will pair well with different programs people use in their day to day work. screen brightness, emoji, mute, volume, screen shot, etc.
My only real issue with this keyboard is the insert key. I use the insert key quit a bit daily for my work and on this keyboard they decided to make the language key primary and insert key the secondary function which is odd. Meaning if you want to use the insert key you would have to hit both the function key + insert. They should have reversed this with insert being primary but I found you can change this in the Logi Options+ software so not a huge deal.
M750 Mouse:
The mouse it comes with is a M750 L and I love the mouse. Its a perfect sized for my larger hands. The sides are grippy but yet comfortable. Its basically a upgraded version of the existing Signature M650 which was already a great mouse to begin with. Again it comes included with a Duracell battery. Its labeled as a silent mouse. The buttons produce a barely perceptible soft thud instead of the typical click, making it ideal for quiet work environments. The scroll wheel is completely silent. It also comes with a adjustable DPI button so you can change your pointer speed on the fly or customize it to do other stuff via the app.
Logi Options+ Software:
While both the keyboard and mouse function perfectly well on their own, Logitech's Logi Options+ software unlocks a new level of personalization. The software provides a comprehensive overview of all your Logitech devices and allows you to customize buttons and keys to your own preferences depending on the device. The app also includes a dark mode. Thank you for that. I was able to get all of my Logitech devices to show in the app including my older ones.
Overall thoughts:
Logitech delivers once again with the K950 and M750 combo. Both devices offer a premium feel and insane battery life. I see them as a more affordable alternative to the popular MX Keys combo. The slim design makes them perfect for travel, and the single Bolt receiver saves me from having to mess with wires. It all fits in my smaller backpack. I'm going to be using them both at home and on the go at work.

This Logitech MK955 Signature Slim Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo is a great choice!
One nice feature is that both the keyboard and mouse can be connected via the included USB reciever or Bluetooth low energy (5.1). I know on a some PC's, the available USB ports can be limited, so these units offer both options.
The keyboard is powered by two standard AAA Alkaline batteries (batteries included) and the mouse is powered by one standard AA Alkaline battery (also included). Tech specifications say the keyboard mouse should lasy up to thirty-six months and the mouse twenty-four months. I have no reason to question those spec's as all other Logitech products I have ever tested certainly had impressive battery life.
Both the keyboard and the mouse great tactile feel and are also smooth and quiet. They have Multi OS capability and easy-Switch button to connect up to 3 devices.
Packiging had a very nice consumer feel and was protective of the units. Set (as to be expected) was simple, and of coirse the use was simple, being a keyboard and a mouse.
In all, this is a good choice and a decent value in classic Logitech fashion.

Productivity and Comfort with Logitech Signature

If you are looking for a comfortable way to type and therefore work efficiently, I would definitely recommend the all new Logitech Signature Slim MK955 keyboard. The keyboard is slim and features a full size keyboard and I find using the 10-key number pad extremely helpful. I also like that this Signature keyboard is quiet when I type and it definitely helps when you have to concentrate and work on creative tasks or write a research article, no extra noise, no clicking, no disturbances. The keys are also very comfortable to the touch and if you are a fast typist you will definitely notice the difference. Your work flow while typing will be an enjoyable experience. I use this keyboard across a few devices: my desktop, my tablet as well as my laptop (yes, I like this keyboard so much that I prefer the external keyboard to the one built in). You can effortlessly switch between the devices with a press of the Easy-Switch button for easy multitasking
The mouse supplied with this set is also comfortable and feels great in my palm, sometimes I have to do a lot of scrolling and clicking on each item in a busy table, and the mouse has always been pretty precise. I find it is easy to scroll through my documents line by line, the mouse slides well on my desk without any mouse pad. Logitech has been a reliable brand for my computer accessories and I am again pleased with this set. My productivity and typing comfortably matter to me and this keyboard and mouse set will definitely stay on my desk for a long time.

I admit I’ve always bought the least expensive keyboard and mouse I could find. I began using A Mac desktop a number of years ago in my home office. It came with the Magic Mouse and keyboard that I really disliked. I quickly replaced them with very inexpensive Logitech products, they outlasted the desktop. Logitech makes great products. Even the low end items work great and hold up well. When I got the opportunity to try this Logitech MK955 on my new mini Mac, I was very excited. They arrived very well packaged with a weighty feel. I felt like I was receiving something special and I wasn’t wrong. I could tell the difference in quality based on the weight and feel. The mouse fit my hand perfectly and the keyboard, at first, felt too flat until I realized it had little fold-out feet to adjust the slant. I installed the batteries and inserted the logi bolt usb connector and the mouse and keyboard immediately worked. The mouse feels great. It is so quiet I sometimes think I didn’t click. It glides smoothly and just works flawlessly. The keyboard is virtually silent. The keys feel very good to my fingers and they work great. Sadly, I did not realize that I could connect both using Bluetooth only. ( yes, I’m from the dark ages, lol.) When I figure out how to reverse my USB connection, I’ll use the blue tooth connection to free-up a valuable port on my mini. There is also an app that can be used to set multiple functionality and you can also use the mouse and keyboard with up to three devices. Again when I downloaded the app I found that there was a very inexpensive cost to use it. Not something I need at this point in my life. These logi tech accessories will serve me well for a long time. So many options that I never realized were available. Great things!

I recently got this as an additional keyboard and mouse combo for my office computer and my handheld windows gaming device. For both needs, I feel that Logitech really hit it out of the ballpark with this. Logitech has been a very trusted and reliable brand for me for many years now, and the MK955 combo is so perfect of me.
I really enjoy at how thin, or "slim" this keyboard is. It feels really good to type on, with am amazing key travel. Despite being on the slim side, it feels really strong and durable for me, as I am hard typer. Keys feel great when typing and accuracy for me is essential. The function keys are really good to have for shortcuts or when you need easy access to tasks such as screen diming, player controls, and volumes. The numbers keypad at the right is always a great addition to have.
The mouse feels great to palm and with multiple key functions on there as well, they feel natural to my finger layout.
What is even great about this is the ability to have this connected to three different computers at the same time. I have this for my office desktop and also for my windows handheld gaming device. Because the screen is so small, I needed an additional keyboard/mouse to help as the touchscreen wasn't as responsive as I had wanted it to be. Having this bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo allows me greater freedom to type.
The downside for me is wishing this keyboard was backlit. But that is the only think that I did not like about this keyboard. So overall, this is great to have and enhances your typing/home office experience.

The Logitech MK955 Signature Slim Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo is pretty good for what ti does. The product came well packaged and the illustration instructions made it very easy to get up and running. Each item comes with pull tabs that keep the battery prior to first use. Once pulled, the mouse and the keyboard go into Bluetooth pairing mode. When I went to Bluetooth settings for my computer, each products was there for me to select. The keyboard feels very good to type on. I’m able to type very fast with little to no mistakes. The keys have very good key travel with audible clicks. The side number pad is great for those times I need to impute a lot of numerical data, along with the many shortcut keys it has to offer. The keyboard has rubber feet at the bottom of keep it from sliding around on a table surface, and it can also be prompted up at an angle with its built in feet adjustments. The mouse has 2 programmable side buttons. The mouse feels really good in the had while using. The rubber material with ridges that’s used on each side of the mouse gives the mouse some grip and comfort. I was also impressed at how quiet the mouse button clicks are and how fluid the scroll wheel is when used. My only gripe of this combo set is that the keyboard does not have backlit keys. It makes it extremely difficult to use in a room with very little lighting. If it had backlit keys, it would probably be my best keyboard ever. Despite not having backlit keys, the combo is still great to use.

The keyboard and mouse come well packed in the box and wrapped in a cloth protective cover. The ease of setup is well thought out. Instructions are clearly visible on the box and they put the Bluetooth toggle prominently displayed on the box itself. There is a place to store it in the mouse battery compartment and it is nice that it keeps anyone from being confused on where it is located. Once you pull the battery protect pull tabs out of the keyboard it is ready to go. The mouse needs the same thing tab pulled and the switch turned to on. Once you connect the Bluetooth doggle to your computer both are ready to go with no additional steps needed. The keyboard and mouse have just the right amount of weight to them and don't feel flimsy like similar sized devices. The mouse is very comfortable and the movement is smooth and controllable. There are two programable buttons on the side if you if you wish to download the Logi software and configure. I had no issues at all using right out of the box and the keyboard is compact, but the right size to type with ease. The keys are responsive and you have a number keypad as well. The keyboard stands are sturdy and give it just the right amount of tilt. It provides full size features in a compact footprint that keeps your desk free and tidy.

It seems my daily work flow includes more and more online meetings and my mechanical keyboard was starting to become a problem with its loud clicking. The opportunity to try the new Logitech MK955 Signature Slim Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo came as perfect timing. When I set it up on my desk the first thing I noticed was how much more space I had. Right away the combo gave my desk a more modern sleek look and I also didn’t need my padded wrist wrest any longer due to the short overall height. The keyboard feels mostly solid although there is a small bit of flex. Typing is virtually silent with a laptop feel to the keys. The keyboard layout includes the number pad and is identified for Windows and Macs. Using the Logi Options you can also change many of the keys for other than their current functions. Logitech has relabeled the Windows key with one that says Start. It works the same as a normal windows key. The mouse is heavier than I expected and has a good quality feel. You can change the mouse cursor DPI with a button which is a function I do use for picture editing. Paring with the included dongle was plug and play for the most part. I am using the dongle and am also connected over Bluetooth with my Android tablet that I use as a second screen. I did have issues recognizing the keyboard when installing the Logi Options software but that was resolved on a newer release that auto updated my prior install. As a mechanical keyboard user I am struggling with my typing speed a bit but it is getting better. So far the experience has been good. And I look forward to the excellent battery life Logitech is known for. I did have a few issues that are probably mostly unique to my workstation. I use a KVM switch to switch between several computers. I have had some connection issues. It seems to be mostly cleared up with the updated Logi Options software. Some of my key presses have been repeated but I am not sure that it is just me not yet having the feel I normally do. There are a lot of affordable wireless mouse and keyboards available at all price ranges. I always recommend thinking about your use case. In my case I needed a full featured quality keyboard that was quiet. I also will be using the software to make the experience unique as I improve my typing feel and I am liking being able to button switch between devices that I would otherwise have to reach for.

Great Keyboard/Mouse Combo

This keyboard and mouse combo is a replacement of a smaller keyboard and mouse. After a couple months, I determined it was time to go back to a full sized keyboard and mouse.
The install setup was very east via logi bolt. The instructions was right there in the packaging and everything worked on the first attempt. The last time I tried to connect a keyboard and moise combo via logi bolt it was a nightmare. Good job to logiitech for the huge improvement.
The mouse was very comfortable and egronomic in my hand. The two buttons on the left side work as they're supposed to for navigation. The scroll wheel also does it's job.
The keyboard was very nice, the keys did not make any noise which is important to some people I guess. I wished the keyboard was backlight though.
Since this is not my first logitech keyboard I am already used to the esc/fn button functionality and the opt/start and cms/alt buttons.
I also setup this combo with my andriod tablet and switching between it and my laptop was a breeze.
I am giving this keyboard and mouse combo five stars, even though I wished the keyboard was backlit.

Logitech delivers options with the K950/M750 combo

I have a MX Keys combo for home and grabbed this MK955 combo for work since they are very similar. The MK955 combo is an economical option at about half the price of the MX Keys combo.
You can pair up to 3 devices making easy to swap between a laptop, desktop, tablet or even a phone using the Bluetooth capability with a press of a button on the mouse and keyboard. The 2.4ghz transceiver is included but I prefer Bluetooth.
The keyboard is a typical 110 key style with numpad. It’s thin and lightweight and almost backpack ready… that is if you have a tall enough bag. In comparison the MX Keys, while similar in size, is quite a bit heavier and I wouldn’t care to lug it around. Even as a low profile unit there is adequate travel on the keys with decent tactile feel with very minimal flex. Even the spacing helps me reduce the hitting multiple keys while typing. The Windows and Alt keys are dual labeled with Opt and Cmd allowing for easy use for both Windows and Mac systems. The fn function keys add typical media control with a few bonus functions such as emojis, speech to text, multiple window switching. The numpad even has a key to pull up the Windows calculator and another for snipping tool.
The 6 button mouse is comfortable in your hand if you are right handed. If you are left-handed the mouse still is comfortable however you pretty much lose the 2 left side buttons unless you are adept with the pinky finger on your left hand. At time of righting this I’m unsure if Logitech will provide a left-handed option but it’s possible.
While the combo isn’t rechargeable it does come with 2 AAA batteries for the keyboard and 1 AA battery for the mouse. You can supply your own rechargeable AAA and AA batteries if you wish.
If you download the Logi Options software you get the most out of this combo. The app allows you to customize commands and add shortcuts to make your most often used tasks easy.
My only gripe is no backlighting/lighting on either device. Call me spoiled but I’ve become really reliant on backlighting but if that’s not a concern for you then I think you will love this combo.
It’s great for work and superior in every way that the cheap peripherals provided with a typical company provided computer or cheapest of cheap home computer systems.

This is a full sized keyboard with number pad on the side. It's not only compatible with all operating systems, you can connect to 3 different computers at the same time. One computer will be connected via USB and two via Bluetooth, same connectivity for the included mouse. (Batteries included for both.) Switching over from computer to laptop to tablet, Windows to Apple to Linux, is an effortless transition. The connection is flawless as well taking no time to switch and operate devices.
The keyboard has thin, quiet, and mappable keys while the mouse also has mappable buttons for a customized experience. There is a on/off switch for each device to save the battery life, hence the proclaimed 36 month battery life of the keyboard and 24 month of the mouse.
The mouse itself has a smooth glide and a quiet click, however I feel it's a bit small for my hands. Otherwise, it is a very good quality mouse. The versatility of the mouse/keyboard combo makes it a must buy for all computer users.

This new set from logitech is clearly designed with a particular user in mind. That is the person who works from home on a work device and wants to also with their personal home device. Setup Logi+ options software on both devices, sync the mouse and keyboard and voila. You can seamlessly move between work and home pc's with the same mouse and keyboard and also copy and paste between machines.
I found syncing the keyboard to the logi+ software a little buggy but it did eventually work. With a single keypress you can fully switch between saved PCs/Laptops, same with the mouse on the bottom. Mouse can hold two dpi settings, no free scrolling though which is a shame.
Keyboard is a very lowkey slim model which is obvious from the name of it, but I found hitting the keys for work credentials. Maybe I'm just a slim keyboard guy but I found I missed my keystrokes more often than not.
If you want the slim keyboard and the ability to work seamlessly between multiple systems than this is your setup. At the price point it feels worthwhile for the options you get along with it.

Cheaper version of the MX Key with M650L mouse
|

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Pro:
Long battery life
Mouse clicks are quiet
Con:
Uses AAA batteries
Mouse is small and not ergonomic
Keys feels like hard plastic
Not compatible with older devices using Unifying receiver
The Keyboard
This is a cheaper and more plasticky version of the Logi MX Keys. It still has the same heft and the ability to connect up to three separate devices, either through the receiver or bluetooth; but there are some differences, however. First, it runs on batteries rather than being rechargeable. It also lacks key illumination and a few of the function keys are changed. It also now has flip out feet.
While there’s nothing wrong with the keyboard functionally, and the build quality is still good, the keys just don't feel great to type on. They are harder plastic and the actuation is stiffer so it just feels like I’m hitting the keys harder.
The Mouse
This is almost identical as the Logi M650L, and simply put, it’s quiet but too small. First the positives. Like the keyboard, it can connect up to three separate devices. The buttons are soft and near silent, much like their other recent mice in the MX line. It has the free spin scroll wheel which is a feature every mouse should have. The negative is that it feels small. I have small hands, and even then only the top part of my palm is on the mouse, with the rest of my hand hanging off. It’s just not ergonomic and my hand will get cramped trying to keep a grip on it. It also needs a battery.
Logi Options+
I don’t really use the Options+ other than to change some settings for the devices. Two useful features are the Flow and Smart Actions. Flow lets you use the same devices across multiple computers. Smart Actions are programmable macros.
Summary
There’s nothing terrible with this set, and it might be alright if you’re not typing for long periods of time and don’t need to constantly use the mouse. Build quality seems good, even though it’s mostly plastic. The keys are hard plastic and typing on it gets uncomfortable after a while. The mouse is too small even though it has nice features. Personally, I’d rather get the MX Keys Slim for a bit more or get a bigger mouse.

The board was light weight and very slim. I prefer higher profile keys; I would have adapted them, but the mouse in the combo I did not like. There was no tactile feedback on the mouse. I need something to tell I clicked... I was not seeking a quiet option.
