I'm constantly accidentally hitting the Device 1/Device 2 button. It's also very easy to trigger the "Precision" button, making you think that your mouse has frozen. The wedge shaped platform made to tilt the angle of the trackball is a stroke of genius. I'll have to put some grip tape underneath the wedge to keep it from sliding around my leather chair.

We appreciate your feedback on the Logitech MX ERGO Plus. We're glad you appreciate the comfortable design and the innovative wedge shape. We understand your concern about the accidental triggering of the "Precision" button and the sensitivity of the Device 1/Device 2 button. We also acknowledge the potential for the wedge to slide on certain surfaces. We'll take your feedback into consideration for future product improvements.

The addition of the angle plate on the bottom is fantastic for someone who deals with carpal tunnel. The level of customization is fantastic and everything on the device is within comfortable reach without any discomfort in my right hand. Love it!!!

Best Logitech Trackball Mouse Yet!

One of the best versions of their trackballs! The ERGO shape makes spending long hours working on the computer a pleasant experience. I like the ability to adjust the angle of the device to make it more comfortable on my wrist/arm. I've been using Logitech trackballs for over a decade and by far this is the best one yet! My only complaint, as shared with others, is the new "Options" software... Bring back the many options found in the old SetPoint!!! Future feature request... Allow the angle adjustments to be fluid instead of fixed increments. Highly recommend the MX ERGO Plus Wireless Trackball!

Took two days to truly adapt to the new non motion. I’ll never turn back now. It’s perfect. If you have big hands like me then this is the perfect mouse for you . It’s chunky.

I tried this mouse out and like the feel and smooth operation but I could not get over the way the base of my outward portion of my palm does not rest on the mouse so I tend to tilt my wrist outward and end up readjusting my arm and wrist to a comfortable straight position like when you sit at a table and lay your arm on the table naturally and have yet to find a good mouse that will do that. I wear extra large gloves so a mouse this size is what I need, a regular mice tends to cramp up my hand. Over all a great mouse that needs better circumference design to keep you from turning the mouse 45 degrees counter clock wise to get the feel you want. I just am going to keep using my Logitech M570 which is a little better with hand placement. I am sure this will work for hand smaller than extra large.

Bought one of these for home and loved it and with getting a new monitor for work, I figured it was about “that time” to get a new mouse. I’ve used trackballs for decades and always loved them. Add the cordless part and you have a winner.

The riser only works in the angled position. When you put it at an flat position, the mouse slides off of the riser. The trackball would stick and I had a hard time with it. Luckily I had an extra ball from a previous mouse and after replacing it, the mouse worked great. Overall, I wouldn't spend money on the "Plus" part of this mouse. Use the money you save on that to get a new trackball.

Hello PeaBee, Thank you for choosing Logitech and for taking the time to review the MX Ergo Plus Wireless Trackball Mouse. I have a attached a link to the “Getting Started” page for MX Ergo Plus where you can find product guides, software downloads and further assistance. The difference between the MX Ergo and MX Ergo Plus is the optional wedge which provides an additional adjustment to the angle. If using the MX Ergo Plus flat, this wedge would not be necessary. The MX Ergo and MX Ergo Plus are both currently $99.99 US. The ball for the MX Ergo can be removed for cleaning. If you have issues with the trackball sticking, further assistance is available on the Logitech support website. I hope you enjoy your MX Ergo Plus Trackball. Best regards, John at Logitech https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023300094

Versitile, but a tad bulky for travel

Got this for use with a Microsoft Surface Go for travel, and it's leaps and bounds better than the MS70 trackball. The bottom steel plate allows the trackball to sit flat on the table or tilted 20 degrees; there's a very strong magnet that holds it into position. it's very comfortable.
The steel plate does make it a tad heavy for travel, but you can leave that at home if you don't want to carry the weight. The trackball is about the width of the Surface Go keyboard, so the trackball is a tad bulky.
Battery is rechargeable and will last for about 4 months on a charge according to Logitech. but you must plug it in to USB2 or USB 3 to charge.
The buttons are reconfigurable once you figure out where to go to download the software to reprogram them. There are NO instructions in the packaging save for a little sticker on the base of the steel plate that points you to logitech.com/options where you can download the software. Once you do, you can reconfigure the buttons from the default and set them to your preference.
But the default settings are very handy, there's a button just above the trackball to set the 'precision' so if, say, you're doing a powerpoint presentation and want to go to finer control you can hit that button and get more precise control of the cursor. You can toggle it again to let you use one or two swipes of the trackball to cross the entire screen. The buttons to the left of the left mouse button default to forward/back on your browser, but you can change those if desired for a hundred different things, from volume up/down, zoom in/out, or anything in between.
The main left/right buttons and scroll wheel (center button) can be reconfigured as well.
You can set up the software to let you know when the trackball battery is getting low and you have to charge it.
And, you can use the trackball for up to two different computers, either using the bluetooth or the USB2 dongle that comes with it.
There's no slot to store the USB2 dongle like there is on the MS70, so don't lose the dongle if you're not using it.
