I loved this keyboard the minute I saw it in the store, even though it's a little pricey. I love the low-profile keys, which have a satisfying click with out requiring a lot of pressure. The keys are not only backlit, but the backlighting is well done, where the markings on the key are clear and consistent. I have used backlit keyboards where there was a high-intensity LED behind the key, and along with the potential of that LED being visible under the key and being a distraction for my eyes, it also unevenly lit, making the characters hard to read. I also appreciate the small, compact size of the keyboard, as it takes up very litte space on my desk and yet is decently heavy so it's not sliding everywhere. Of course, one of the reasons I chose this keyboard over others was because of it's 3 separate channels. I can use the same keyboard with my Windows desktop, my Mac Mini, and another mini PC running Linux. All it takes is pressing the button for the channel I want to run it on. This is a recharable keyboard, so it simply needs to be plugged into a USB port periodically to keep charged, and it goes weeks on a charge even with daily use. So far, I only have one complaint. Because the keyboard is designed to be compact, there is very little distance between groupings of keys. There is a slight gap between the letters and the middle section (which includes the arrow keys, and common function keys such as Delete, Page Up/Down, Insert, Home, and End. There is a similar gap between those middle keys and the number pad (and I type 10-key). The backlighting helps with this, but my issue is with the top row of keys. This is where the function keys are located. There is a similar top row of keys above the number pad which are VERY useful. These include a calculator button (opens the calculator program in Windows), a screenshot button (a.k.a. Print Screen), sub menu (same as right-clicking), and a lock key (press to lock your computer before you walk away). My problem is because these keys are so closed to the number pad, I often hit them when using the number pad. This is especiialy the case with the lock key. As a Photoshop and Illustrator user, I frequently use the keyboard shortcut of CTRL and Plus/Minus to zoom in and out, and I frequently hit the lock button instead of minus. Very frustrating. I do wish there was a little extra space between the top row and the rest of the keys. Overall, though, highly recommended!

I’ve used many keyboards over the years but nothing really comes close to the MX Keys. While people swear by mechanicals, I actually came to this from the MX Mechanical and couldn’t have been happier with the decision. Typing on this keyboard is an absolute pleasure and the keys are very well made. I’m using all functions on (proximity, backlighting etc) and battery still lasts almost a month easily. Highly recommend this keyboard.

This keyboard doesn't look like much, but it blew my expectations out of the water. Awesome battery life and smooth, quiet typing. I do wish the keys stayed lit up longer when not plugged in, but it's a small price to pay for the excellent typing experience. It's very slim and I also love that you can connect it to more than 1 device with a simple button press. It also feels high quality.

Love this keyboard! Has great feel, connects quickly to Bluetooth and switches between devices. I have 3 different computers available and it is trivial to swap between them. Recharging is simple and haven't had to recharge since my first time. Lighting is intuitive and useful. Have to get used to some of the key markings (the "Windows" key is labeled "Start" for example), but that is simple. Several built in function keys are helpful, including a "lock" key that is important for my work. Although a bit pricey compared to many other keyboards, it has been worth it so far.

For context: I had recently swapped my Apple MacBook Pro 15” to an iPad Pro 12.9” full time - but still had my peripherals (Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Pad and Apple Magic Mouse). In addition, with the extension of work from home - I had a PC laptop (work issued) that was also in my workspace. My goals: I wanted to reduce clutter - AND be able to use a proper keyboard across the two machines with ease (without having to click into multiple Bluetooth menu items each time to pair to the other). Logitech recently came out with Mac version of this keyboard - but I needed to use across both Windows and iPadOS, so I opted for this “non-Mac specified” version. This was the right (and best choice). First, this original MX Keys has Mac/iPadOS mapping (e.g. Command Key, standard set of function keys) - but when paired with a Windows based machine, those function keys work as expected (e.g. F2 for “edit” mode in Excel). Even the labeling on the keys provide insight into both sets across Mac/PC (e.g. the “Opt” key doubles as “Windows” or “Start”; and “Command” doubles as “Alt” on PC). Second, look-and-feel of the keyboard is great. I will admit the keyboard was heavier/denser than I expected. However, the key-press has enough travel to feel satisfying when typing, and the key backlighting functions well. Lastly, the setup was quite intuitive and relatively easy to map. The biggest win for me is that above “Insert, Home, Page Up” keys, there are 3 “mapping” keys to help easily swap between 3 different machines. The connection is quick and reliable (I have only had a glitch/delay once or twice in my last 3 weeks of use). I have yet to truly test battery life (to full drain), but I am also the type of person who charges when the battery hits 50%. That said, for the magnitude of usage rate on my part (and swapping/pairing across machines), the battery life is holding up quite well. As for pricing: are there more affordable options out there? Yes. However, for the functionality, convenience and improvement in workflow - this is a great deal. For perspective: you can get this keyboard (MX Keys) AND the MX Master 3 (mouse) for less than the Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Pad (and no mouse).

I love this keyboard. Bluetooth with easy set-up and can be programed for use on three different devices. Change devices simply by pressing a key. Keys are backlit. Battery last forever. Works like a champ! Only caution is to keep a wired keyboard handy. I had an incident where I had to restart and access the Bios, and the Bluetooth keyboard is not recognized. Other than that, I love it.

This is a really nice Keyboard, I have a Windows Computer and a Mac computer and it seamlessly transitions between the 2. Battery life on this Keyboard has been great. I have had it for over a month and have only had to charge it one time. The lighting is nice, Typing on it is really nice too. The Keyboard has a nice angle that is not adjustable. The keyboard is a little expensive but I have had some of the cheaper knock offs and they don't perform as well

I love this keyboard, but to be fair, I got it on sale as open box. If I had to buy this at full price, I probably would have passed on it just because I can't justify spending that kind of money for a keyboard. However, It is totally worth the value of the full price, I just happened to luck out. It feels brand new, can't tell that it was open box at all. No issues with keys or key travel. One of the most comfortable keyboards I have ever used.

The ability to switch between devices at ease is amazing. I used this keyboard for both my MacBook and my work laptop which is windows and was able to switch easily between the two with a the push of a button. Literally the push of a button. I like that it's easy to type on and does not hurt your fingers. It's nicely lit so you can see and the battery last forever!

This is one of the best keyboards I've used. I use it for office work, and liked it so much I purchased a second one for my other office. The tactile feedback is just write, and it's made of excellent materials and not some cheap plastic. I've had it for almost a month now, and haven't had to charge it yet. It also doesn't leave much in terms of fingerprints, and it's easy to quickly wipe down.

The Logitech MX Key wireless illuminated keyboard takes a bit of getting used to. I like the feel of the scooped keys and the compact design. It has some weight to it so it feels solid and doesn't move while typing. It has a mind of its own most likely to preserve battery life. It turns illumination on and off as you type and pause from typing. The keyboard basically goes to sleep if you stop typing for a few seconds. It comes back to life even before you touch a key. It senses your hands over the keys. At first there was a bit of lag. I would start typing and nothing appeared for a second or two and then the letters appear on the screen. Other than that it works like any other keyboard. I've learned to wave my hands over the keys when illumination goes dark before I start typing. That way there is no keystroke lag. All in all I like this keyboard. It takes up minimum space on the desk and is very tactile without making noise. Once you get used to its battery saving feature everything works perfectly. As with the MX Master 3 mouse the MX Key can address up to three devices via USB Unifying receiver or Bluetooth. I can even use it with my iPad 6th gen running OS 13.3. Having a full sized keyboard and a mouse with an iPad is dope. It turns the iPad into a laptop with a touch screen. And I can use one keyboard and one mouse to control my laptop, iPad and desktop all at the same time moving files from one to another over the same network. Technology keeps getting better. The keyboard and mouse combo is a true upgrade from what I had been using. Logitech does it again. I recommend the MX Key wireless illuminated keyboard for its feel and feature rich design including custom key mapping.

I've used Logitech keyboards for years and have owned close to a dozen of their different keyboards. I use this keyboard for work and grad school, and this is by far the best keyboard I've used. I'm a fan of keys with both short keystrokes and positive feedback on when you've pushed the key far enough to register the keypress. For me, Logitech perfectly designed this keyboard for both of these. The added benefit of being able to sync this keyboard with up to three different devices, a full size number pad & arrow keys, as well as assigning custom functions to the task specific buttons is excellent. The battery life is close to what's advertised, and the keyboard can both charge and operate simultaneously. The backlight illumination will turn on when your hands are close to the keys, so you never have to type in the dark. I've found that the keyboard will sometimes trigger the backlight when I'm not near it, so I simply switch the easily accessible power switch off when I'm spending time away. Note that I use this both at home and in the office, and both keyboards will falsely trigger the backlight; it seems the keyboards are overly sensitive when triggering the backlights. Overall I've found this to be a great keyboard, especially when paired with the Logitech wrist rest specifically designed for this.

So far so good. We'll see how durable it is. I expect 3 years out of it so hopefully it can make it that far. Keys are good, battery is long enough for all uses, USB-C charging is convenient. I mainly use it for gaming and it works well for that. Its mechanical but quiet which is perfect and not annoying to other people like most mechanical keyboards.

Its the perfect all-rounder for anyone in a professional setting. It’s quiet, comfortable, and has great tactility. Bonus: if you have multiple devices like a desktop and laptop that you like to switch between it has handy single press buttons. Always a fan of the MX series of products and this is no exception.
