I replaced my Apple Magic Mouse (which I loved, but was causing to much pain due it's obscenely bad ergonomic build) with the MX Master. Overall I find it a fantastic mouse. LOVE that it's Bluetooth and I don't have to waste a USB port with some stupid dongle. Battery life is about what they claim—long enough that I don't care if it's 100% accurate. The software is great, which shocked me because Logitech is horrible with software drivers. The pros: Comfortable, nice software for Mac, Bluetooth works great, mouse itself is accurate. The cons: It's almost too accurate/fast. It's sometimes difficult to move slowly and precisely. This is a minor thing that I'm sure I can still adjust for in the software. The thumb wheel and thumb buttons on the other hand cannot be fixed. They're almost too small and too close together to be useful. I find myself having to look to see which button I'm hitting, etc.

super comfortable in the hand. Love the fact that it's bluetooth and can save 3 different device connections, so I'm able to switch between my windows desktop, my macbook pro, and even my android phone with the push of a button! Tracking is perfectly accurate. Also offers a lot of customization. awesome bang for the buck!

I bought the logitech mx master mouse to replace my old logitech mx mouse. I love this mouse. It is bigger than mouse mice I have used in the past -- if you have small hands it may be too big for you. The size took some getting used to. I have one minor complaint, and it is minor, the back and forward buttons are very close to each other. I sometimes press forward when I mean to press back. The large thumb rest is actually a button that when pressed show all active applications and allows you to easily switch between apps. I love the speed sensitive rolling wheel on top. Slowly roll the wheel and it scrolls slowly; quickly roll the wheel and it scrolls increasingly faster. Another new touch is the side-to-side roller wheel which allows you to easily scroll from side to side in any document. Battery charge lasts a long time -- I bought this mouse on 1 Dec 15 (it is now 6 Jan 16) and I have only had to charge it twice. I use my computer and mouse daily for several hours. Overall I am well pleased with this mouse. My only complaint is that it wasn't free...but I guess you do get what you pay for. And, by the way, Best Buy was gracious enough to match price for this device from another vendor.

Bought this mouse for my son who plays a lot of games. Wanted one that can work on glass as we have a glass desktop. Works well on glass for normal everyday use but tends to skip or lag when needed for quick gaming action. My son uses the mouse on the drawer below which is fine by him. Battery life is good and mouse is comfortable to hold and use

Logitech still makes the best mice

I have 3 Performance MX mice and decided to spend the money to purchase the MX Master because it could be selectively attached to 3 different computers. Others had noted the tendency of the sideways scroll wheel to stop functioning for no reason and that has happened to me. I have found ways to get the sideways wheel to start operating such as clicking on a different application or different spreadsheet and then back to the original. A pain in the ----, but a minor one. I prefer the sideways scroll wheel to pushing the middle up/down scroll wheel left and right. Logitech's biggest screw-up is the way they have implemented the application switcher on the MX Master. On the Performance MX you click whatever button activates the application switcher and the windows all show on the screen and you can select the one you want. With the MX Master a small window shows up on the screen and just the icons for the applications show. and if you try moving the mouse cursor the entire window with the icons disappears. You have to keep pushing the application switcher button to scroll through the files you have open. If you have multiple spreadsheets or word files open it is difficult to select the correct one. I have hopes Logitech will come out with a firmware upgrade to fix this problem because it really is a backwards step in how they implement the application switcher. That problem not withstanding this is a very good mouse and unless the application switcher functionality is something that is a deal breaker for you I would recommend it. I have rated this as 4 stars but if possible I would say it is really 4.5. I had sufficient time to return the unit, but felt the benefits outweighed the couple of poorly implemented features. I forgot to mention the time between needing to recharge is quite a bonus as well, especially when traveling.

    Even better than MX revolution

Didn't think that Logitech could do better than the MX Revolution. Well, they did. The biggest improvement is the mouse tracking. This mouse works more reliably on glass and can work on a solid white surface. The previous mouse would not work on a flat white tabletop or piece of paper. Also, the shape is a bit more comfortable than the MX. I like that the scroll wheel automatically switches from click mode to free wheel during hard scrolling. Free wheel works much better here than the MX. Cons: not many but there are a few. 1 I don't like the placement of the Forward / Back buttons. I have a larger hand and they are hard to reach. And these buttons are right atop one another. The MX arrangement for these was better. 2 Battery is not easily removable. The MX mouse had the option to insert a AA battery or keep the rechargeable. This was a lifesaver a few times for me when working offsite. This isn't such a deal breaker because the battery life on the new mouse is very good. Overall, I recommend this mouse. It's not cheap but is one of those things that is worth the extra money if you use it a lot.

I was formerly completely sold on my Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth mouse. I still have it and use it as a backup but this Logitech mouse has won me over. I've used other Logitech wireless mice and was always disappointed but this one is so highly reviewed by so many reviewers on the internet, that I wanted to try it. I was concerned about the size, but it is completely manageable for my relatively small lady hands (I do have long piano playing fingers, though). I love the scroll wheel and the extra programmable buttons. The side scroll wheel sometimes also comes handy in Windows 10 for certain applications. It tracks well on any surface and I've found I don't need to be fastidious about having a mouse pad anymore. But most of all, I love that this mouse is rechargeable and I can use one of the oodles of micro USB cables I already have lying around the house. Highly recommended - don't be afraid of the price. And with the new version of this mouse out now, this model can probably be obtained at a discount.

This mouse is comfortable to handle, and is factory programed for several time savings jobs. You can reprogram yourself if you want to change. Another thing I like is you do not replace the batteries, you charge these from your computer or a close electric plug, and the charge lasts 6 to 8 weeks. Excellent Mouse.

This is the greatest mouse I've ever used. I have larger than average hand and most mice never felt very comfortable. This mouse is very comfortable and perfect for video editing or general use. Long battery life and being able to connect to up to 3 devices makes this mouse even better.

As a Mac user its always been convenient to just use the Magic Mouse! Comes with the product and it works great! But like most things in life if you dont try something new you'll just never know what youre actually missing! This mouse is like it was made for my hand! the horizontal scrolling took a while to get use to as with the magic mouse you just touch your finger to the way you want it to go... But with the ability to customize every button to your choice of command is amazing! even the motion gesture of holding a button and swiping in any direction to make a command! A must buy for those with bigger hands and something that just feel amazingly comfortable to use!

I switched from the Microsoft Arc Mouse and immediately feel the difference. Bluetooth enabled means one less USB usage to care about. The ergonomics are great, it feels premium and it is packed with functionality. Ideal for gamers and video editors. Battery last a lifetime!

This is by far the best mouse I've ever owned. I never have to worry (too much) about the surface I'm trying to use as my "mousepad". To be fair, every so often, I'll find a surface that will make the pointer move ever-so-slightly slower than standard, but the mouse still works. In addition, its battery life is second to none; the speed-adaptive scroll wheel shifts seamlessly between click-to-click scrolling and hyper-fast scrolling; and Logitech has made it so easy to switch between connected devices (e.g., switch from my work laptop to my home computer). The one thing I haven't adjusted to yet is the thumb scroll wheel. It makes total sense, and it works as well as everything else in this device, but after years of nudging the main scroll wheel left and right, I don't know if I'll ever get used to this. I think the fact that there are so few sites/documents that require left-to-right scrolling makes it unlikely for me to adopt this technology regularly. Overall, I can't say enough about this device. Just love it!

Bought this mouse to replace an old Logitech one that was 10 years old and still working good. Just wanted to update. This mouse is very precise and comfortable to use. Love being able to customize the buttons. All in all it's a true Logitech product -- always excellent !!

This one is both bluetooth and USB. I like the grip of the mouse and the wheel on side is mote convenient to scroll than buttons. Battery life is decent. Its worth replacement to my old performance MX. I paid more than what it was listed today but I dont regret.

Great mouse with very smooth control. Love the scroll wheel that can be set to spin freely to scroll lots of pages at once. Battery has to be charged, but only once every couple of weeks. Not that big a deal since you can still use it while its charging.

This is a great mouse. It modified some of the best features of previous versions and added the side scroll wheel. This is perfect for anyone who has to deal with giant spreadsheets. I have big hands so the size of it was perfect for me. My only complaint about the fit would be the location of the two buttons by the side wheel. They are behind the wheel so it makes it a lot more difficult to quickly hit them. Software is easy to configure, however I had a bit of an issue with the application specific button switching. When I had my browser running, even though it was minimized it was still using those functions (Back & Forward) rather than my usual (Copy & Paste). Probably going to be fixed soon, though I haven't tried it much lately. Battery life has been better than expected and charging time is very quick. Long story short, great for anyone who uses a mouse a lot. Probably too expensive for the common user.

I am so happy with this mouse, but there's two caveats. One, it's perfect for my hand size, but I have big hands, and two, I'm not a gamer, so I can only speak to using it for everything BUT games. Photo editing, spreadsheets, code development, emails, web browsing - fantastic! It's accurate, comfortable, the scroll wheel is literally fun to use and I did not know of a side scroll feature, but with this mouse, I can no longer live without it (I probably could, but I'd be angry about it.). Great, great hardware. I also really like that I can assign three device profiles. So my kids can use it on the fly too without messing up any of my presets. It's also on point visually. Batman could rock this mouse.

This is a great mouse - it is comfortable and the sensitivity is good. The Bluetooth wireless feature is nice, but I wish it had a dongle that was connected that I could attach wirelessly to the computer when it needs to be recharged.
