Customers are delighted by the ergonomic design, ease of use, and impressive battery life of the MX Vertical mouse. Many appreciate the Bluetooth connectivity and comfortable weight, although some find the size unsuitable and a few have reported issues with the scroll wheel. The high price point is also a recurring concern for some buyers. Positive feedback overwhelmingly focuses on the mouse's comfort and functionality.

Great Mouse and Comfortable Feel

This mouse offers a great alternative to standard mice where the hand sits on top of the mouse. My arm lies flat on the desk and the mouse fits comfortably in my hand. The battery is built in and should be charged soon after opening the box and connecting the mouse to the PC; about 1 to 2 hours to fully charge the mouse. I have used both the bluetooth connection as well as Logitech's Unifying Receiver; both work well. The mouse can connect up to 3 different devices; easily change the device to connect to using the button on the bottom of the mouse. Depending on what software I'm using or just browsing the internet, the cursor speed control (oval button on top of the mouse) button makes it convenient to change. Logitech claims 4 months of use on one charge, since I have not owned this mouse for that length of time yet I can't say one way or the other except I am still on my first charge (one month to date) since I purchased the mouse on 12.12.2020 and still going strong.

I bought this mouse to help out with some bad wrist pain I was having from excessive mouse usage. This has definitely helped in that regard. The mouse is high quality and pleasant to use. I found the learning curve transitioning from a traditional mouse to be really quick. I do think it's priced at more than what it's worth (blame Logitech, not Best Buy) but you can't put a price on your health. As any look at ergonomic keyboards/mice will tell you, the manufacturers know this, agree with that philosophy, and price their products accordingly.
Side note, it also works almost flawlessly in Linux, but if you want to re-program the buttons there you'll need to use a program like xbindkeys, etc. The mouse doesn't have on-board memory so any changes you make to the button bindings won't persist if you move it to a new computer. The only button I wasn't able to program on Linux was the DPI button, although that can be configured with Logitech's software on Windows.

Stop what you're doing and reach your hand out, like you're going to shake someone's hand. Now turn your hand palm down, as though you're going to hold a normal mouse. Notice how that's harder? Crazy right?! How did I never notice this before! I wish I had purchased this mouse a long time ago! It looks weird, like it would be awkward to use, but it has completely solved my hand and wrist pain that I was experiencing with other mice (mouses?). I would like to address a few things:
- I'm going to be controversial and say I think this mouse is actually OK for small hands. I'm a woman with average size hands, and the first few days I used the mouse, I felt the mouse was too big. Then I actually discovered you can reach all the keys by just adjusting your grip to be higher on the mouse, where it is narrower, and rotating it to the left. I think your grip adjustment is something that happens intuitively over time - but you have to get over the "it's too big" feeling. Chances are, if it feels big you may be resting your hand on it incorrectly. (My 11 year old with tiny hands seems to have no problem with it once I showed her how to adjust her grip).
- I love that you can adjust the sensitivity, and that it takes just small movements to make large movements across the screen. I use 2 computer monitors, and it takes just a tiny wrist movement to move the cursor from one screen to another. This makes me so happy.
- I have no issues with the scroll button, but I did adjust it to the fastest scroll ability possible.
- the ONLY thing I do not like about this mouse is that I lost the ability to scroll left to right in excel, but I just customized the thumb buttons for that (I wish they were bigger).
- I have thwacked the mouse off my desk a few times because I forget it's so tall.
In summary, for me, the benefits of using this mouse FAR outweigh the negatives. Most of the negatives have been a matter of just getting used to something different in the beginning. It's just second nature now.

I really really like this mouse. If you spend your days clicking away at spreadsheets this mouse really eliminates a lot of hand fatigue. The charge lasts for days and you can still use it while charging.

I've only been using this a few days and I felt the need for a quick review.
I work at my computer for 8 to 9 hours per day and I'd developed severe wrist pain and discomfort. Had all the classic signs of rsi or ct. Within 24hrs of using this my pain has almost completely subsided.
I'm a heavy pc gamer as well and this mouse has also replaced my G305 gaming mouse without any issue.
It took a minute to get used to the movement but once that was conquered, this mouse is amazing. Pair it with the ERGO K860 keyboard and you are all set. (you also only need to use 1 usb dongle if you pair these)

Good with a mouse pad...

Nice on my bad wrists, but it does cause my wrist to hit the table and I get a small red sore. If you have a mouse pad with a wrist cushion, you'll be good. Before I had this one I would sometime use my left hand but with this one, it's impossible to use my left hand.
It took me about 2 days to get used to it but now I like it. Love how I can just recharge it by plugging in my android's USB-C cord every 2-3 weeks versus replacing the battery.

I recently got this mouse to replace my MX Master 3S as my home setup mouse. I didn’t want to switch, but the MX Vertical does a great job of offering most of the same mods and adjustments as the MX Master, and it’s super comfortable to use for long periods. I like the new hand position because it’s so comfortable, but it does take a bit of getting used to so you don’t feel like it’s going to slip out of your hand. The build quality is really good, but it’s light and it shows that it’s made of plastic.
I think this mouse is perfect for anyone with hand or wrist problems because of an injury or ailment. It’s a great choice that’s a consistent price for Logitech peripherals. I would definitely recommend it and buy it again for myself.

Overall, a great ergonomic option for a mouse. It's not too complicated to figure out as far as options and settings. Smooth movement and comfortable handling. My only issue with the design is the area where the palm rests. Where the mouse fans out in the thumb would have made more sense in the opposite area where the palm is. I find my hand slipping to the table without realizing it and the side of my palm on the table; over time this can feel uncomfortable. When I'm conscious of my hand position it doesn't prove to be an issue, and hasn't been over time as I get used to it.
If you can try it out in person at a store or otherwise I'd give it a go. Since I personally have issues with regular mice, I've stuck with it and have grown accustomed to it and it is a great mouse for anyone trying to avoid pain issues.

I love it. The first day I used it my hand wasn't used to it but by the end of the week it was fine. Eventually you build the muscle to work it sideways. Overall much better for your wrist. Even light gaming like Minecraft is still fine. I have large hands so I chose this over the Logitech Lift (I recommend going in the store and grabbing the displays). If it was slightly larger it would be perfect for me but that's just personal. Overall great.

Use case:
1) Improve ergonomics of home office (purchased with Logitech - ERGO K860 Ergonomic Split Bluetooth or USB Keyboard)
Pros:
1) Sturdy scroll wheel/middle mouse button (had a previous, less expensive vertical mouse have its scroll wheel brreak)
2) Relieved wrist pain
3) Rechargeable battery, charges via USB C (very quickly)
Cons:
-- non observed --
Neutral:
1) If charging with a cable connected to a computer, mouse inputs go to that computer. I'm not sure if there's a way to do this otherwise, but this caught me off guard at first.
2) The input selection feature is on the under side so need to flip the mouse to access it. Minor inconvenience, not really a drawback unless you're needing to switch connections often.
3) Perhaps not for everyone, but I recommend giving it a try.

I usually don't buy Logitech as I'm a Corsair guy but I have a soft spot for the odd. The weird angle that the mouse sits at got me curious enough to try it. Within an hour I was hooked on it. It feels so natural and I'm not sure why they never designed anything comparable up till now. I haven't tried gaming with it yet but I'm sure that will come later. The battery life is excellent and installation was very simple. I tried my Corsair Scimitar after and the difference was night and day. I highly recommend this mouse!!

AWESOME ergonomic mouse! I bought this some time ago to use with my work laptop. I'd been having pain in my wrist and hand from using a traditional mouse, but using this mouse had made those pains disappear. This device is one of the best investments I've ever made! It was easy to set up and use (even on Windows!) and it keeps its software up to date. It even notifies you when the battery is getting low, which is not often.

Excellent mouse, I now have one at home and at the office. Much more natural hand position. Took me about 30 minutes to get used to, now regular mice are awkward. Only thing is that sometime is knock it over when I go to grab it after typing, but that basically went away after a couple of weeks.
