    Powerplay 2

First of all, the mouse pad is smaller than the original. You only get the soft pad, but that is not all bad as the hard pad wore down the feet on your mouse. It is thinner, but not a game changer. Hower, the big deal is the receiver is not im the power block attached to to pad. You will meed a C port for the power pad and a second USB A port for your mouse cord with the receiver for your wireless mouse. This is a downgrade from the original. Logitech is no longer making the original and the decrease in price is off-set by having to use a second USB port.

Downgrade from original in many ways

Friend bought one. As all the other reviews say, this thing is a downgrade in all ways possible to the original. Cheaper build. No built in receiver, which is a double whammy. Makes it take 2 ports and the receiver isn't as close to the mouse as the OG. No hard matt included. I got lucky and happened to find the OG in stock at a business supply chain. Bought it in case my current OG ever dies because I don't want to replace it with this garbage.

    What a disappointing downgrade

I can't believe they don't sell first generation. This thing is such a a downgrade. I wanted to buy a second one, saw this one. Got excited and quickly disappointed. They get rid of the RGB light which is fine but the fact they got rid of the wireless dongle connection is such a disappointment. Also the cable is now soldered directly to the pad. So you cannot get it replaced. This this should not cost over $40

    2.0 is a DOWNGRADE

I came here with intentions to buy this pad for a second desk and was immediately disappointed to see the design and quality of “version 2” is worse and less features by removing the built in receiver. Somone at Logitech really screwed up. Don’t they have employees that actually use thier own products? What is going LOGITECH?
