Pros:
-Seamless wireless charging for Logitech gaming mice
-Eliminates the need for traditional batteries or charging cables
-Compatible with select Logitech gaming mice
-Customizable RGB lighting effects
-Reliable and efficient charging performance
Cons:
-Limited compatibility with Logitech gaming mice
-Higher price compared to traditional charging options
-Requires a compatible mouse pad
-Review:
The PowerPlay Wireless Charging System by Logitech is a game-changer for avid gamers who want uninterrupted gaming sessions without worrying about battery life or charging cables. With its seamless wireless charging technology and convenient features, it offers a hassle-free solution for Logitech gaming mice.
One of the standout features of the PowerPlay Wireless Charging System is its ability to provide continuous charging to your Logitech gaming mouse while in use. Gone are the days of swapping batteries or pausing your gameplay to charge your mouse. Simply place your compatible Logitech gaming mouse on the PowerPlay mouse pad, and it will wirelessly charge as you play.
The elimination of traditional batteries or charging cables is a significant advantage of this system. You can enjoy the freedom of wireless gaming without the hassle of changing batteries or dealing with tangled cables. This convenience ensures that you can focus on your gameplay without interruption.
The PowerPlay Wireless Charging System is compatible with select Logitech gaming mice, including the Logitech G903, G703, G502 Lightspeed, and PRO Wireless models. It's important to check the compatibility of your specific mouse model before purchasing the system to ensure it will work seamlessly.
With customizable RGB lighting effects, the PowerPlay mouse pad adds a touch of style to your gaming setup. You can personalize the lighting to match your gaming aesthetic or sync it with other RGB-enabled peripherals for a visually stunning gaming environment.
The charging performance of the PowerPlay system is reliable and efficient. It keeps your mouse charged throughout your gaming sessions, providing a consistent power supply. You can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your mouse will always be ready for action.
One potential drawback of the PowerPlay Wireless Charging System is its limited compatibility with Logitech gaming mice. If you don't own one of the supported models, this system may not be suitable for your needs. Additionally, the higher price compared to traditional charging options may be a factor to consider, especially if you already own a compatible Logitech mouse and are content with your current charging method.
It's worth noting that the PowerPlay system requires a compatible mouse pad for charging. While the system includes a mouse pad, if you prefer a different mouse pad or already have one you love, you'll need to ensure it is compatible with the PowerPlay technology.
In conclusion, the PowerPlay Wireless Charging System offers a convenient and uninterrupted charging solution for select Logitech gaming mice. With its seamless wireless charging, elimination of batteries and cables, and customizable RGB lighting, it enhances your gaming experience. However, the limited compatibility, higher price, and reliance on a compatible mouse pad should be considered before making a purchase. If you have a compatible Logitech gaming mouse and value the convenience of wireless charging, the PowerPlay system can be a worthwhile addition to your gaming setup.

Hello Ivan, thank you so much for the 5-star review!! We greatly appreciate all feedback. Although the Powerplay mat comes with a hard and soft pad, you'll be able to use any existing mouse pads you may already have. We just can't guarantee that it'll fit the mouse pad properly. Thank you once again, have a great day. -Ricky from Logitech.

I recently purchased the POWERPLAY Wireless Charging System from Best Buy for use with my Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED mouse. As a gaming enthusiast and professional in the video production field, I’m always looking for ways to streamline my workspace and enhance my gaming experience. Here's my take on the POWERPLAY system.
Key Features of the POWERPLAY Wireless Charging System:
Seamless Integration with G502 LIGHTSPEED: The compatibility and integration with my G502 LIGHTSPEED mouse are flawless. It's like they were made for each other.
Continuous Charging: The constant wireless charging keeps my mouse always ready, eliminating the inconvenience of plugging in to charge mid-use. This is a game-changer for long editing sessions and extended gaming marathons.
Uninterrupted Performance: The charging system has had no negative impact on the mouse's performance. Precision and responsiveness remain top-notch.
Sleek and Minimalist Design: The charging pad's black, sleek design fits perfectly with my setup, adding a professional look to my desk.
Ease of Use: The setup was incredibly straightforward. It was a matter of just placing the mouse on the pad, and it started charging immediately with no fuss.
No More Battery Worries: The peace of mind that comes with not having to worry about my mouse battery dying in the middle of work or gameplay is invaluable.
Overall Impression:
The POWERPLAY Wireless Charging System has exceeded my expectations. It's been a fantastic addition to my gaming and work setup. The convenience of continuous charging without ever having to plug in my mouse has not only improved my gaming experience but also my workflow efficiency.
I highly recommend it to anyone with a compatible Logitech mouse, especially if you're into gaming or spend long hours at your computer. It’s a small investment for a significant upgrade in convenience and efficiency.

Unique offering that's still overpriced

This is a bit of a niche item, which is the only reason I can think of that it costs as much as it does. The surfaces included are quite nice, it's super easy to set up, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It keeps my Logitech G502 Lightspeed Wireless mouse charged at between 80-90%, meaning it never dies even with the lights left on permanently, and it doesn't damage the battery by overcharging.
It replaces the wireless USB receiver that my mouse came with, but it does require being plugged into your PC with a wired USB connection, so there's no net gain of a port, but you gain a software-customizable glowing 'G' on your desk (this can be turned off if you're not a fan).
The bottom line is, this is an overpriced wireless charging mat and Logitech wireless mouse dongle replacement rolled into a large mouse pad. That being said, there isn't another product out there that does this particular job, let alone this cleanly, so if you're a marathon gamer, or someone who usually forgets to plug your wireless mouse in to charge, this is the only tool for you to keep mousin' without concern.
I would recommend this product to a friend - but only if they fit one of those groups. Everyone else should just get a nice mousepad and remember to plug in.

Was using a Logitech G502 Lightspeed mouse and kept forgetting to charge it ever so often. Found out about this charging pad that worked with certain mouse. Saw that it was compatible with mine so decided to buy it even tho it was a bit pricey. To my surprise it was a well worthed purchase. Saved me the headache of coming home from work just to a find out my mouse is dead. Always charged and ready for gaming.

Okay, lets get the cons out of the way first. It's a mouse charger. That's it.
But the pro is, it's a mouse charger!!
Disclaimer: I've only had this for a couple of weeks and I use it with the G502 lightspeed wireless mouse.
But what a load off my mind to never have to worry about my mouse dying again. No more candy crush marathons plagued with the lingering doubt over whether my mouse is going to make it or not because I forgot to plug it in.
Old habits die hard though. My mouse doesn't. But I still open Logitech's G-hub software to see the battery percentage.
There really aren't a lot of options with this thing. No spare USB ports. However, there is a lightspeed receiver on the module at the top of the pad so it doesn't take away any USB ports. You unplug your original receiver and plug in the mouse pad.
It's not all super flashy, either. There aren't RGB lights around the edges. I have my two G logos, one on the mouse and the other on the pad's wireless receiver 'breathing' in sync. Can't charge your phone on it, so don't bother trying. I knew it, but I took one for the team and tried it anyway.
There are two choices of mousing surfaces. a softer, cloth style and the harder plastic. I'm using the harder surface and the edge is 'edgy'. I guess for the price, it could have been rounded smooth. Sometimes i can feel it on my wrists. Maybe that could be a con. Maybe a pro if you like that sort of thing. I'm not judging. The stickiness is good. Again, maybe you like it sticky. In this case, i do. It doesn't slid around on my glass table top.
It is a large mousing surface. Not obesely large, but more conveniently large. And the lack of a usb wire does give the impression that the mouse is lighter than it really is.
Anyway, my mouse hovers between 84% and 92% every time I obsessively compulsively check the software.
Frankly, the price is a little high for what you're getting. I guess that adds an air of exclusivity and if you add the cost of the wireless mouse AND the charging pad together, you're definitely in luxury as opposed to necessity. I'm waffling between fair and poor in the value because I actually paid more for the wireless charging mouse pad than I did for the wireless mouse. Something feels 'wrong' about that. But I do find myself sneering when I see someone using a wired gaming mouse, or hear someone make a comment about charging their mouse.
Peasants.

Cool idea - software needs work

I purchased the Powerplay Wireless Charging System for my new Logitech G703 gaming mouse and the idea is pretty slick. Not having to worry about charging my mouse while still having most of the freedom of wireless functionality is very nice.
Setup is straightforward for the most part, take the mat out, plug it in, put the module in the bottom of your mouse and let them sync. For the most part it doesn't need much user intervention, with a minor caveat.
I originally had the Logitech Gaming software installed for my G703 mouse to manage profiles and RGB coloring. What's interesting is the Gaming software recognized both the G703 and the Powerplay charging system... but not together. I couldn't initially figure out what I was doing wrong as the mouse was working, but the software couldn't see it. I reinstalled/updated the software and even went back to the original lightspeed receiver that came with the mouse to make sure I hadn't missed anything.
Turns out you need the Logitech G Hub software in order for the two devices to recognize each other at a software level (again, there didn't seem to be any functional problem with the mouse using the other software other than the software couldn't see it).
Once I made it past that stumble, I had some issues with the RGB coloring. There is a functionality inside the G Hub software to synchronize the lighting between the mousepad and the mouse, and it only sort-of works. I was able to get them to stay at the same color through some effort, but while it says it is sync'd it never really seems to sync. When I set the effect to something besides fixed (such as 'cycle') I could never get them to cycle at the same rate or pattern.
In terms of actual use, I am currently using the hard mat and really like it, although the edge is somewhat uncomfortable to rub your palm or wrist against, it would have been nice if it was smoothed or rounded in some form.
All in all it's a cool idea. I like it, though it seems a little overpriced, particularly once you consider combining with an already fairly expensive mouse.

I thought it would be too big but it's the perfect size for my gaming sessions. I love the fact the it keeps my wireless Logitech 502 mouse charged while playing too. Great buy overall and highly recommend for any gamer that likes the convenience of not having to plug in their mouse to charge. I have to sacrifice the weight in the bottom for the charge button.

An Excellent Accessory For The 703/903

The G703 and 903 mice are both peripheralls that need no introduction and I've used both extensively and would recommend either without hesitation. For the people who already love using them, this is a slam dunk. The price is a little hard to swallow, but if you catch it on sale or have a gift card to spend, this is a great thing to have on your desk. I run my Powerplay pad on top of the Corsair desk spanning M300 mat. Everything stays right where I want it and I never have to worry about charging my beloved G703 ever again. It's also probable Logitech will add other peripherals in the future that can charge using the mat adding further value. The only criticism I have stems from the logitech Ghub app often failing to push the lighting configuration to the pad until you disconnect/reconnect, but if you can make peace with that it makes great mice even better and adds substantial convenience to your setup since you'll never have to resort to plugging in during a marathon gaming session ever again.

After reading other reviews, and watching the very impressive videos on the "POWERPLAY" wireless charging system for select Logitech gaming mice, I bought it. It is nice to have a device that keeps my mouse working without the need for wires on the mouse, or having to worry about running low on battery power. It works as designed, but can be on the pricey side for what it does. It is first and foremost a very large mouse pad with two options for the top. Either a cloth top, or a very slick hard plastic top. It is a personal choice for which one you would like. I prefer the cloth, but can see where it might slow you down in game play. The hard plastic one has some rough edges that could cut if you are not careful. It is also a very expensive power supply for the mouse you are using, and did they mention? It only works with three of the Logitech mice. Not one of the mice is inexpensive. I went for the most expensive of the three - the G903 that boasts up to 12000 dpi, but unfortunately the software that comes with the mouse and POWERPLAY pad only allows for the mice to go up to 6000 dpi. Even with that the mouse is beyond fast. Just to clear the air on price, I got a really good deal on the mouse, the "POWERPLAY" pad, and of course a wireless headset to go with it all - the G933 Artemis headset. I paid about 60% of the cost of these products as found in the stores, so it was a good deal for me, and a happy birthday gift as well! I would only recommend this to someone who has plenty of money to spend on mice and mouse pads, and who hates wires...

Pros:
-My G502 X Plus is always at 96% charge, constantly
Cons:
-Very small area
-extra puck adds a couple of more grams of weight to the mouse
-the 2 pads that come with it need to be either taped for stability or you can just use your existing mousepad to go over it
-the PRICE
Conclusion: this really is more of a luxury item than a necessity. My G502X Plus battery life already lasts 38hrs on a single charge & it's not that challenging to just charge this thing at night before I go to sleep. I would've kept it had there been an XXL size and the price was cheaper.

This was the first mousepad I've gotten in a while, used to use my desk and before that a mousepad from 1990. Although the other reviews say it's smaller than expected, it's actually pretty big so make sure to measure your desk. It comes with two mats you put ontop of the mousepad, they usually like to move around a bit, but not anything that annoying to me. Mainly bought because of the charging feature and it works as expected, just keep in mind this isn't Qi charging so it won't with your phone or other non-logitech mouses

Amazing mousepad. I love the cloth surface. It's easy to clean(I just used dawn soap and water and let it air dry). I bought it because I have the g502 lightspeed and I hate micro usb so this mousepad allows me to just plug the pad in and forget about it. It keeps the g502 charged between 80% and 90% so the battery won't degrade too quickly but it will also keep it charged enough so you can bring the mouse anywhere without worrying it's low on battery.

Using a wireless, rechargeable setup (including keyboard, mouse and headset), this mouse pad eliminates the need to recharge one of those components, while keeping a healthy level of charge - not too low, nor too high. That's one less thing to have to think about.
Aside from that, you get a hard and a soft surface to suit your preference, build quality seems good, and the size is ample, but not too big for my desk space.
Expensive? Yes. Necessary? No - just like most tech stuff. But it sure is nice to have. I give it wo thumbs up!

Logitech G502 Wireless Charging

I bought this because I own three different wireless Logitech gaming mice. In our house we have the Logitech G502 (my personal favorite) and two of the Logitech G703. The nice thing with this pad is as long as I switch out the circular piece on the mouse with the included magnetic circular piece that came with mousepad I can wirelessly charge any of those devices I listed above.
Pros:
-Nice no longer having to plug in my mouse for charging or searching for the USB to plug it in.
- the included mouse pad options on top of the charging pad are mostly comfortable for extended periods of play
- I have not seen my mouse get below 89% since purchasing this a couple months ago
Cons
- this mouse pad on my desk surface feels slightly large and that it takes up quite a bit of space. I have a ROCCAT full size keyboard that the mousepad is almost as wide as.
- switching out the magnetic charging device can be a bit of a pain at first but once you figure it out, it is easy to switch out between other G series mice.
- Price, the price does seem somewhat steep when not on sale, however, if you find it on sale below $100 it is worth the desktop cleanup and being able to put away a charger.
I also had noticed some feedback stating they had input lag issues but I have not experienced any.

My G903 has been set free

Got this to go with my G903. Very happy with it so far.
It has a built-in receiver for the mouse so you can unplug the little dongle from your computer and free up a slot. It also uses the same cable as the mouse does so you don't even need the cable that comes in the box, I just unplugged my mouse and plugged in the pad. After a quick update and turning the mouse off and back on everything worked perfect. The mouse immediately began to charge and the little white light on the pad lit up to show that it was doing so. I was able to quickly sync the RGB on the pad to my keyboard and mouse and everything was very easy and smooth. Logitech's software is very easy to use.
The pad comes with two interchangeable mouse surfaces. A standard cloth pad, and a hard plastic pad. Both pads have rubberized grip on the bottom to keep them from slipping, and that is the only thing that keeps the pad attached. There are no raised edges or other retaining devices, most likely to keep the profile small and stop any discomfort. That said, I haven't noticed any slipping problems with the hard mat and haven't needed to adjust it since I put it in place.
Also, if you have a large mouse/keyboard mat already, you can actually just slide the charging pad (with neither mouse surface installed) under that and it should work fine as long as your mat isn't very very thick. I tried it on my current mouse mat and it worked just fine, but I am waiting on a larger mat to come in stock so I am using the included hard mat for now. It's good to see you have options though and if you wanted to you could just use pretty much any mouse surface you want on top of the pad as long as it's not too thick for the wireless charger.
Haven't noticed any charging issues. Mouse sits at a pretty constant 98%. I've only had this for a couple of weeks but I already love the freedom of having a permanently wireless mouse I never need to charge. My only complaint is that this is only supported by two of Logitech's mice, the 903 and the 703. It would be really awesome if they would start including this option on all future mice as I love Logitech mice and don't want this pad to eventually become a rather expensive mousepad that doesn't do anything else but light up.

I held off on buying this for a while and I still think it's pretty spendy for what it is, but it's a nice companion for my G703 mouse. It keeps it charged all the time and it also acts as Lightspeed receiver for the mouse and doesn't use up any additional USB ports on my PC. The wireless charging puck replaced the 10g weight I had in my G703 and it feels like it's slightly lighter, but I didn't notice much of a difference in my usage. You get cloth and hard pads, which is nice. I started with the hard pad, but I didn't like how it felt on my wrist and switched to the cloth one. Overall nothing really bad to say about this other than the fact that I think it's too expensive. Still worth it for me though.

The perfect set and forget way to use a wireless mouse while never having to worry about the batteries. Could not be easier. I even use a different mousepad above it (Glide 19) instead of the included surfaces and have not had any issues.
It is on the expensive side I guess, between this and the equally expensive mouse to match to it. But if you have the disposable income and simply want an amazingly worry free setup, this is it.

I just realized I've had this for over a year and hadn't reviewed it. I absolutely love the G series Powerplay. I have the G903 and haven't had an issue out of it. For the gaming I do, just started BF 2042, it's done everything I could ask. It remains in the 95% charged range and turns on from sleep very quickly. I would definitely buy this again.
I only have two slight issues with it. Ones not really an issue, just some wisdom learned. Make sure you keep the mouse within the width of the receiver. I've noticed it not charge sometimes if I have the mouse too far to the right. No big deal, I just always leave it close to the receiver.
The other is finding a replacement cloth mat. The one that came with it is still serviceable, but I will need/want a new one at some point.
Neither of those detract in any way from how great this works.
This has been a great addition to the rest of my G devices. G Hub works very well and allows me to sync lighting across all my devices. I also have the G915 keyboard and G935 headphones.
Logitech got it right with their Lighspeed wireless. I'd not owned a single Logitech device in a number of years. After getting this and the G903 I became hooked.
I also use this to do some PS and Premiere Pro work. It works without any issues there as well.
Overall a great purchase for me.
