Honestly not a need but definitely a must have if you have a compatible mouse. I've used plenty of other mice, ranging from Steelseries Apex brands that advertise 180hrs, Razer with charging docks, etc. and this combination with the Logitech superlight has totally become a privileged luxury I had the joy of experiencing. In detail, I have totally forgotten about having the need to charge my mouse in between use in fear of it running out of battery mid game. This definitely prevents that. I'm able to have ease of mind when playing and knowing that it will never fully charge the mouse, the longevity of this mouse is ensured. Only gripe I have and this is totally minor, is having this mousepad hidden. I definitely use extended mousepads to cover it but having a raised groove under your mat definitely feels awkward at least for me. Other than that... perfect product to pair with your logitech compatible mouse. MUST HAVE.

Works extremely well with wireless Logitech mice, make sure to research first and see if your mouse is compatible with the PowerPlay. The built in receiver has an unnoticeable difference between it and a wired connection, and does it’s job with keeping your mouse charging. One thing to not overlook, is that the wireless charging is not intended to keep your mouse at 100% charge, rather, it extends the battery life and tries to keep the charge between 80% and 95% when not in use. If you want your mouse to get the 100% charge you will have to plug it in. However, i’ve had the G502 Lightspeed and the PowerPlay charging mat for about 3 weeks now and have yet to have any reason to plug the mouse in to charge. The mouse battery life stays at a consistent 85% to 95% even while in use. The PowerPlay comes with two “covers” to sit on top of the charging base, a firm plastic and a soft fabric that you can switch between depending on your preference.

1. After watching plenty of reviews I must remind you not to bend the pad EVER. Be careful taking out of box because you will have to take out the other mousepads b4 or with it (comes with two interchangeable pad tops). 2. It does work with my extended Corsair mm300 pad I bought on BF from BB and is perfect size vertically. 3. Noticed no difference on my G903 and that's a great thing. The cord for the G903 did not work. Use the one that comes with the power play. Out of the box it was at 78% and stayed that way for a half hour of no movement and a half hour of school work (mostly typing). Ended up going to 95% (thats max (85-95) to save the battery life) while gaming for 2 hours. If this thing holds up for a while, it is well worth it. Only time will tell.

Life changing because it allows you to ditch that dreaded mouse cable. Wireless gaming mice finally reached a perfomance point where they can now match their wired brethren. The missing piece was that you still had to plug in once in a while to recharge. So I ended up just using my wireless mouse with its cable anyways! The Powerplay Wireless charging mat works great with compatible wireless mice to truly untether you from that dreaded wire. I have never looked back and I am now spoiled. This is a definite buy for those who hate the mouse cord and having to plug in wireless mice. It truly changes the game.

I was a little hesitant on buying it due to the price, but I’m glad i got it. It makes my gaming experience more efficient because I don’t have to worry about my mouse losing battery while i play. I like the fact that it can charge as i move the mouse as well as how the entire mouse pad can charge. Other mouse pads i have been looking at before purchasing this one, only have a small are on the mat that is designated for charging. I also like the fact that it comes with both the hard and soft mat so that i can pic which one suits my needs. My only complaint is that it was a bit pricier compared to other mouse pads but it was worth the buy.

This literally enables the best of both worlds. You get to use a wireless mouse, and you never have to think about charging it. Not to mention that you get choices of both materials, hard and fabric. In Addition to the fact that the receiver is literally right next to the mouse (no interference). And the fact that the mouse can charge ANYWHERE on the mat (unlike Corsair, etc. which only have a little area that has Qi charging). It's especially reassuring knowing that the Logitech software (which is great) keeps the mouse only charged ~80% to preserve the battery life over the long term.

Love that it comes with two options for use, either the cloth (which I prefer) or the hard surface (too fast for me). Love that my wireless mouse will always be charged. No more pausing to plug in or replace batteries. Size is a bit larger than regular mouse pads, so take that in to consideration when looking at space on your desk.

This is a big mousepad, so make sure you got desk space. It's hard to go wrong with the materials of a mousepad, and this product is no different. If you prefer a harder, more plastic touch then there is an optional cover to use instead of the soft pad. It's not too flashy but definitely captivates your attention if you sync the small lighting component with a Logitech mouse. A touch on the expensive side, but it charges great and I hated plugging in wireless products to charge, so it's worth the money if that's always been a pet peeve of yours.

I had a larger mousepad than this originally for FPS games as I play on lower DPI and sens. Still plenty of space. Using with G502 wireless. Easy to link up. Never had to charge the mouse once. I didn't think it would be so groundbreaking as I've always used a wired mouse before. I can move the mouse so freely and don't ever have to charge my mouse. Linked my mouse RGB to the the RGB of the pad and just looks very cool. The mice that work with this pad plus the pad itself is not cheap, but if you want a great gaming experience I couldn't recommend the combo more.

I really liked this device. I recently purchased the logitech g pro wireless mouse and had been looking for a new mousepad to go along with it. I received this product yesterday and was able to quickly install it and get it running after a firmware update through Logitech G Hub. I switched the charging puck with in the box with the one in my mouse and right away it started charging. The soft cloth mousepad comes standard and I tried also the included hard pad, both felt fantastic in conjuction with the logitech mouse. I am very satisfied.

Works great, really easy to set up and the choice of soft or hard top is great aswell. It's pretty big too plenty of surface area but really thin and it does an amazing job of keeping my mouse from dying.

Great product. Batteries none needed with this. As long as you get the right mouse that is compatible with this charging mat. I was a little iffy on the price. But it turns out you forget all about it once you get it home and see how nice it really is. I love that fact that it is larger than your normal mice pads. Logitech never fails. Im pleased with this purchase.

Great product. Before I owned this product, i had to remember to chsrge up the mouse every few days. Once you set it up, it works flawlessly and keeps the mouse charged around 80%. The pad is large which is great for some games and the LED lighting is customizable. 2 pads are supplied (one hard and one soft) depending on your preference. I highly recommend.

This is a great product. The full benefits of a wireless mouse without the charging worries. I'm using this with a G502 and it's working great. I was using a wired G502 before so I did appreciate that there was a wireless option. There is a puck that is included for the wireless charging which replaces a plastic insert in the mouse. For the G502 that insert is where you can place additonal weights which becomes impossible with the puck but was not an issue for me. Love the size of the pad! Overall it's amazing even if a bit pricey.

When I got the new G503 wireless I couldn't get it without the Powerplay. I never wanted to get a wireless mouse due to the fear of it dying on me in the middle of a game, or during a crucial task. The Powerplay is what made me make the jump to a wireless mouse, since now I never have to worry about my mouse being charged! Both of the included surfaces are high quality; whether you prefer cloth or hard mat (like me) it will treat your mouse very nicely. Overall I can't recommend this enough if you own one of its compatible mice. You'll never have to worry about charging again!

As your main mousepad, this would be an excellent choice, as it comes with 2 different texturized options for covers that go on top of the existing charger. If you have a mousepad, however, it does tend to bulge out a bit. If that doesn't bother you, then this is a great option to ensure your mouse is always charging.

Bought this for my g pro x superlight. Instructions in the box are simple and explain how to insert the powerplay module into mouse. In combination with the Logitech G Hub software the mousepad keeps the mouse always charged up and ready to go and the connection between the mouse and mousepad has never dropped out. Both mousepads (cloth and hard) are comfortable but I preferred the cloth cover. Also the size is good for medium-high sensitivity gaming.

I bought this specifically for my Logitech Pro mouse. I wouldn’t really recommend this for someone that can’t make use of the wireless charging. In addition I find this priced way too high for what it is. I mean I like it for my setup since im running all Logitech but I thought this was way too high. Overall the quality is great and I like that I can switch from either a hard or soft surface.

this is to be used with logitech's lightspeed offerings. it comes with it's own power coin, which you have to swap with the factory coin on the g502 lightspeed version (you can't use the factory coin that ships with the g502 and charge wirelessly with this pad). if you have a lightspeed mouse, unplug the dongle, and then plug the mat in. this will charge your mouse and act as a receiver. i put this under my xxl mousepad and it charges through the mousepad. 10/10 i recommend.

I was skeptical on how well this would work for the G502 X PLUS I purchased at the same time. Being able to use it as the dongle for the wireless has ensured low to no latency while gaming. And the charging has been flawless. Software keeps the battery cycling at a healthy range and have experienced no unexpected outages.
