I purchased this remote for use with my macbook pro using both keynote and power point. The remote works superbly with both programs. I like the green laser as it is different than most remotes and provides an extra emphasis during presentation. The timer feature is also a great feature. No need to keep an eye on the clock. The remote vibrates at intervals of 5, 3, and 1 minute from the countdown timer. Great remote.

Do what it says, and I like that it performs well even from a distance.

This Logitech R800 clicker has worked fantastic for me. I am a nurse educator, and this device allows me to walk around the classroom, engage in my students, and not be stuck behind a podium during my lectures. It has a good range, is plug and play, and easy to use. I highly recommend this. If you are needing to flip through a PowerPoint slide or PDF document but don't want to be stuck at your laptop, this is the clicker for you. Go get one!

I teach at a University. This pointer is great for class as it lets me walk around a bit instead of being stuck at the podium. It is also great for formal presentations. The green laser pointer is awesome. The buttons work great. The range is amazing! The built in timer is fantastic. The only thing that could use improvements is scrolling between slides very quickly, it's a bit slow when you try and move through like 10 slides at a time.

Excellent product. It has great range and is very easy to use. I found that it took very little "self education" to make this product work. It is a powerful communication tool for presentations because of the ability to have a countdown timer to keep you on topic/time and good range for those of us who can't stand still when we talk but our laptop is on the opposite side of the room. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great tool for presentation. Love the timer. The ease of use. You can use it over a great distance! I just wish the laser pointer would show up on a flat screen.

I got this so that my wife could do presentations without needing to stand behind a podium or walk back and forth to her laptop to navigate her slides. She had originally asked about getting a laser pointer so I did some research and found this handy wireless presenter / laser pointer combo. It was quite reasonably priced compared to other alternatives I found so I was a little skeptical that it would work well, despite having the Logitech label on it. Installation could not have been simpler. Simply plug in the USB dongle and pull out the battery saver tab. I was able to start testing it immediately. The green laser worked great although I find the dot a tad fuzzy compared to other lasers I have owned in the past. It simply does not have as crisp an edge to it than I expected. However I may be spoiled having used some very expensive pointer systems in the past. Using the buttons to navigate the slides is intuitive and very responsive. I also like the ability to disable the display at the start or end of the presentation. That was a nice feature I have never had on presenters before. All in all it is a very well priced device that does the job very well. So if I have nothing but good things to say about it you may wonder why I did not give it 5 stars. The reason is I rate on a bell curve. To get 5 stars in my book something has to be truely outstanding, not just very good. Far too many people rate on an inverted bell curve which is useless in my book; you cannot truely get a sense for how good (or bad) something really is because _everything_ gets either the lowest or highest score every time. I bought this item because of the green laser, which is more visible than red lasers when focused on large video monitors. I also find the green tone more visually appealing than red. The timer works well and is a nice feature. The product worked perfectly with all three Windows machines that I tried--two were Windows 7 devices (laptops), and the third was a Windows 8.1 desktop computer.

My mind wanders and when the teacher is trying to give the lesson, I have been known to drift onto a rabbit trail in my head only to be awakened to my name being called because the projection is not keeping up with the speaker. Now that I have this little gadget, the teacher can easily go from slide to slide and back without worrying about the sound man getting lost in some side issue or other and forgetting to advance the screen. Where he teaches is about fifty feet away from the computer in the sound booth and it hasn't missed a beat turning to the next slide. The Shabbat School teacher really likes the laser pointer! It helps him to draw our attention to exactly what is being covered on the projector quickly, easily and without interrupting the teaching flow. Installation was hassle free. I just plugged in the receiver and brought up my program of choice. I did add a six foot USB extender just to get the receiver higher in the air for a better reception as opposed to on the floor plugged into the back of the computer. I don't think it was really necessary, but I just wanted to be sure the signal would reach. I don't know why I didn't get one sooner! I use it with PowerPoint and ZionWorx, (a song presenter). I am very pleased with its performance. It does what is advertised with no surprises. My kind of product!

Very lightweight easy to hold. Long battery life. Sometimes the range is great, other times it is very poor - not sure why. Maybe the communication is blocked by some materials or surfaces, or by interference. Laser pointer is easy to use. However, it is fairly easy to hit the wrong button, so the screen blacks instead of the slide advancing, for example.

I've used this to give 4 talks in the last month. Works great and as intended. It does not say Mac compatible, but it works flawlessly with powerpoint. Mac OS seems to treat this like a keyboard and asks to hit some keys when starting, I just cancel that window and it works just fine. The one button even brings up the full screen mode and blacks out the screen if you don't want your audience to see anything. The backwards and forward buttons are fine. The green laser pointer is much better than red for me, although color blind people may not see the green pointer. I did not try it using keynote, but it supposedly works with that program too to advance and back up slides. I also love the fact that it keeps time for the speaker. I'm usually rushing at the end and when it gave me the close to end warning, I was able to plan out and skip a few slides.

The Logitech - Professional Presenter - Black - Larger Front Logitech - Professional Presenter, is easy to operate has an on off switch to save on your battery life. It also advances your slide easily, and the green laser pointer I believes is easier to see then the red ones.

This Logitech clicker has been a fantastic tool throughout grad school. I use it regularly to practice presentations and always bring it with me to conferences. It has even come in handy when the provided clicker at a conference wasn’t working—definitely a lifesaver. It connects seamlessly with Microsoft PowerPoint, and the laser pointer is clear and effective. I paired this accessory with a new computer and a TV screen to use in audio visual training classes. I am able to move about the room freely and advance my power point presentation as needed. The timer keeps me on track for breaks and the laser pointer helps in specifying and highlighting. I love it

Reliable and easy to operate. Made my job of controlling my powerpoint presentation extremely easy.

We use this in a medium sized conference room where the computer and remote receiver is under a desk and the pointer has to transmit through the desk. The unit is replaced was unreliable for changing slides. This device has performed flawlessly. The green laser pointer is much brighter than the old red laser pointer and easier for people to see in ambient light.

I purchased this item to use in a college class as part of my final presentation, being able to set a timer on it was extremely handy as well as the laser pointer and page turning functions. However my only gripe with it is the lack of clarity around the setting and using of the timer. As due during the timer setting being modified, the page turning function stops working. But determining this to other users who have not used one before was very difficult. Maybe a flashing light or haptic response of "edit timer mode" and then a timeout to back out of the function. Just my thoughts. 4/5 for great function when well versed in the manual, but for those who have never seen its literature, it can be a steep learning curve that can confuse some people.

This laser pointer presentation tool is a must have tool for the professional salesperson, manager or senior executive. Do not waste your money on a red laser pointer (Red lasers do not show up on the screen at distances greater than 25 feet.). Bright green lasers are the way to go for presentations that require pointing out critical information. This remote’s forward and rearward buttons allow you to advance or go back to prior slides with ease. As with all presentation tools, practice with this laser pointer so you can hit the laser button only and not bump the advance/go back buttons. This presenter has a built-in timer to help you track your time remaining for your presentation. Great buy for the professional presenter, salesman or public speaker.

This is a simple clicker with great features. It has a green pointer, a timer so you know how long your presentation is running and an on/off switch. I like it because it does the job. It also works with Power Point and Google Slides.
