Makes static noise, I wanted to use this for background twitch alerts but caused static noise to my viewers, the Logitech z200 was better for me.

These were a cheap price and the quality is cheap. You get what you pay for. The most annoying thing about these speakers is that they are so light they can't stay in the upright position. I'm going to have to glue a weight to them or something. Basically I just needed some cheap speakers to hear my PC but this is ridiculous.

Ok speakers, not exactly what I was looking for but they will do. Works great with iPhone, not so good with android. Volume low with android phones.

Very inexpensive speakers but only good for your computer not good sound quality for listening to music. I'm only using for Skype.

Speakers serve the purpose. Would like a little bit more volume. I wouldn't buy it again

I have not used them yet but you can't beat the price

They are okay, just good for broadcast. They sound annoying if turn up too loud and really awful if you play music on it. They are much smaller in size than the pictures. Should have spent a little extra to get better quality sound.

When I got home from picking them up I put it aside for later use. When I did open the package to use them one of the speakers didn’t work but maybe too late to return them. So I paid for 2 speakers but ended up wirh one.

Originally I would have given these a good review. Sound quality wasn’t amazing, but it was all that I needed. I bought these almost exactly 6 months ago, and now they don’t work at all. They turn on, but no sound comes out. Now I have to buy new speakers...but I will not buy these again!

The sound is fine but regardless of where I place the speakers, there is static. Too late to return and I threw away the box. :(

At first I was happy with these speakers (except that they're easy to knock over). Then the one without the on/off button began failing. I checked it from the computer, which claims that it's working, and it sounds the tone when I test it, but half the time no sound comes out of it. You get what you pay for . . . .

I've done everything to get the speakers to work. Even had a tech support help me and appears all the drivers are updated on my Lenova desktop I purchased from Best Buy. The tech advised it appears there is a problem with the speakers. They could be defective. Need to address that

Speakers repeatedly emit loud static noises. Very difficult to listen without constantly readjusting the position of the speakers and have to be turned off when not in use to avoid static.

They sounded good and five days later one sounded crackling noise. I am an older person and I just use it to listen to the smart cracks from the canasta players.

I was using a small pair of speakers that came with a Gateway PC I bought years ago. 10 in fact. They finally died. I only listen to a stock market squawk through these (just a man speaking) so I didn't need much. I decided to go with the cheapest Best Buy had because of this. The reviews sealed it for me. And I can tell you these reviews are accurate. Considering the size and price these speakers deliver. Will it fill a room? No. But if you're in front of your PC and put on some music you won't be sad. If music is your #1 priority you can certainly justify more $. I use 2 NEC Multisync EA223WM monitors at work. The physical design of these speakers allows me to put them on the monitor stands and tuck them behind my monitors. The monitors don't block the drivers just the unused portion of the top of the speaker. Turned out to make for a sleek install. These speakers have a 4.5' power cord (2-prong A/C) coming out of the left speaker and a 4.5' 3.5mm jack audio wire coming out of the right speaker. The speakers are connected to each other with a 5'4" wire. It seems odd that the on/off knob is on the right speaker, but the power comes in from the left speaker. This worked perfectly for me. My PC is on the floor by my right foot so the 3.5mm wire drops right down to it and the power wire goes to the floor through a pre-drilled hole. Just thought I'd point it out. This was literally perfect for me, but I could see this being a problem depending on your layout. I always thought both wires came into the left speaker and then just one wire went to the right. The small power LED on the right speaker glows a nice, faint pumpkin orange and the VOL knob is very easy to turn being on the side vs. the front. Overall for $8.50 shipped to my house I could not be happier. Possibly one of the best value tech buys I've ever made. I've attached a photo of how it looks tucked between my monitor stand and the monitor itself.

Was happy with this item at first. But have had now for two/three weeks and they cut out and have harsh feedback.

cheap sound, sure wish I could find a good sound at a reasonable price. Disappointed to say the least.

Simply awful. Tinny, tiny sound. Was trying to boost my MacAir while listening to music. Don’t buy them. I still need to return them.
