It is a good addition to tablet but its key responsiveness is not very good.

My old keyboard wasn't even a year old and logitech couldn't replace it.

This is a wonderful, cheaper alternative to the $150 one that BestBuy has from the Samsung co. This Logitech keyboard has been truly a surprise: snug fit perfectly fitting the tablet, love the magnetic snap in keyboard feature, takes seconds to hook up the bluetooth wireless, sturdy case that will protect from damage if dropped. Keys are very wide and spacious, for more so than majority of other keyboards where they are small and tightly pressed together. Perfect find for $99!

For great protection and function, this is the perfect case, you can use the regular keyboard or the one built into the case. My daughter loves it!

Great slim keyboard case

I purchased the Tab S2 recently as my first Android tablet (3rd tablet) and this time I decided I wanted a keyboard case. I have a 2nd and 3rd gen iPad laying around the house, both in Belkin Cinema folio style cases. I always wondered if I should have purchased a keyboard case but never read reviews about a model that convinced me to get one. Years ago keyboard cases always seemed bulky but this Logitech is very slim. Of course this case adds a bit of noticeable weight and a bit more thickness (what case won't?) but only because the bare Tab S2 is so incredibly thin and light. This case offers great protection and functionality yet it is still MUCH lighter and thinner than my older iPads in their non-keyboard cases.
I'm very happy with this purchase. I really like the texture of the outer cover. It isn't slippery but it isn't grippy enough to pick up debris. It wipes clean easily and doesn't show finger prints. I like the auto on/off feature, nothing to mess with once it is paired with the tablet. I sometimes fold the cover back to use the tablet and I also pop the tablet out of the case to play certain games or to place the tablet in a dashboard mounted tablet holder in my truck. It is great not having to worry about the keyboard being turned on or off. Of course the auto wake/sleep feature is really nice too since I'm used to that functionality with my old iPads. The built in magnet that holds the tablet in typing mode and turns on/off the keyboard is pretty strong. It is possible for the tablet to "slip" and fold flat down on the keyboard but only if you are moving it around aggressively like shifting around while laying in bed. It is easy enough to grip the tablet/keyboard in a way that keeps the tablet from slipping off the magnet so it really isn't a problem. The folio cases on my iPads used nothing but friction to keep the tablet propped up and they slipped if you breathed on them wrong so I have no complaints with the magnetic strip on this case.
The row of "hot keys" is a great feature. It was clever putting the back, home and switch app keys on the left side of the keyboard. This allows you to tap those keys with your left hand or you can tap the tablet with your right hand. I use the music control hot keys the most because they are so convenient. When you tap those keys to play/pause or previous/next track they work instantly without waking the tablet screen. Weekday mornings and sometimes most of the day on weekends I stream music from Google Play Music to my Amazon Echo Dot which is connected to my living room surround system. I use a voice command to tell the Echo Dot to connect to my tablet and Tasker on the tablet automatically launches Google Play Music, cranks media volume to 15 and begins playing music automatically after the Echo Dot connects. I can go about my morning tasks and either tell the Dot to skip tracks or tap the keyboard depending on where I am in the house or what I am doing. I can stream music like this all day and it hardly makes a dent in the tablet battery because the screen doesn't ever turn on.
I really liked the design of this Logitech keyboard case more than the Samsung keyboard case. I never used the Samsung case but I'm positive I made the right choice -and it was half the cost. I've been using the keyboard daily for over a month now and haven't had to recharge the battery yet.

Frustrated and not happy

The first keyboard I purchased I took back to Best Buy and exchanged for another because I had a lot of trouble getting it to connect with my Galaxy tab A. After several tries I got it working. Then the extra time I tried to use it the same old problems. Now if I do get the keyboard and the tablet working and try to Google Search half the time it times out saying I have a bad Internet connection. I have a strong Comcast wireless signal and my other devices work just fine. The odd thing is that when I start having these Internet connection problems if I simply fold the tablet down (thereby disconnecting the tablet from the keyboard) the the Google search works okay. Needless to say this unreliability leads to major frustration and I am about ready to give it up.

Well built, spacious keyboard for the size.

The case itself feels premium, the material the case is made out of is non slip, almost feels like rubber. The keyboard is spacious enough for me to type on pretty comfortably and I have fat stubby fingers and hands. I was a bit unhappy about the price, that is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.
