OK Compact keyboard w/ mushy keys & mouse buttons

This keyboard is different from any other keyboard I’ve ever used. The wave in the main key area is less pronounced than I expected it to be. I got used to it pretty quickly and actually like it. My typing seems to be smoother. The keys actually look and feel about 20% smaller than a traditional keyboard but putting this keyboard next to my traditional one, the spacing is actually very similar. I’m guessing the ergonomic wave really does work. I also really like the integrated palm/wrist rest. It is very comfortable and smooth.
The keyboard can be programmed to be optimized for either Windows, Mac OS or Chrome OS. I noticed the Mac specific symbols as soon as I looked at them. This is a nice flexibility feature.
As for the keys, they are mushy. They are not ‘clicky’ and make little noise. I guess this is OK for some people who like their keyboards quiet, but I prefer a better tactile feel. Not a loud clicky keyboard but something with better feedback than this.
The mouse is the same. It is ambidextrous (good for this lefty), very comfortable to hold and has a nice weight to it but there’s basically no click to the buttons and resistance is just too light. I constantly have accidental clicks. This is the opposite of my usual experience with Logitech mice. They are typically my go-to mouse because I love the feel and resistance in the buttons. Sadly, this is just not the case here.
This keyboard is compact. This can be both good and bad depending on what you are used to. If you are used to using a laptop keyboard, you should be able to get used to this quickly enough. If you are used to a full-sized keyboard, finding these buttons can be a challenge at first. The arrow keys are easy enough as they are under the right-side shift key. The Home, End, Page Up, Page Down & Delete are above the number pad. The insert button is on the page up button, but you need to hit the function button at the same time to use it. This is my biggest problem with this keyboard. I am left handed use my left hand for mousing. I use CTRL-INSERT and SHIFT-INSERT to copy and paste because it is more convenient and comfortable for me. This is impossible with this keyboard because the INSERT key requires me to use the FUNCTION key. CTRL-FN-INS is not recognized by windows (and would be inconvenient for me) so I have to use CTRL-C & CTRL-V. This is uncomfortable because my left hand is on the mouse selecting text and I must do this with my right hand. This slows my productivity.
According to the directions, this combo can be connected either using Bluetooth or via a Logitech compact, USB A dongle they call Logi Bolt. I used the dongle. It worked out of the box. I plugged it into my PC and the mouse and keyboard worked. I did not try Bluetooth.
Finally, the software is typical Logitech. It has a lot of features and nice graphics. However, it only recognized the mouse. The keyboard was not recognized. I tried to add it, but I could not find the connect button that the software told me to push (I even looked in the battery compartment). Maybe this keyboard is too new and not recognized by the software yet. I don’t know…
All in all, this is not a good match for me. If you are right-handed, don’t mind a mushy keyboard and mouse and need a compact keyboard with a number pad, this might work for you. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me.

Almost the Perfect Keyboard

This is my 5th Logitech Keyboard/Mouse combo I’ve owned. Just the fact that I continually buy Logitech Keyboard/Mouse combos should tell you how much I consider theirs to be among the best on the market. I wanted to give this new Wave Keyboard a try because I know how important good ergonomics are if you do a lot of typing and this design seemed to be closer to a normal keyboard than some of the “super divided” styles which I don’t really like. I also was looking forward to the quiet keys and the nicely designed quiet mouse. I’ve been using this combo at my work for about a month now. I’ll lay out a quick list of pros/cons and then go into more details on each.
PROS
- Wave design feels completely natural
- Keys & Mouse are super quiet
- Keyboard is full size yet has small footprint
- Has both Unified Receiver and Bluetooth Connection
- Mouse feels good in hand
- Extra functionality built into Keyboard
- Keyboard has Numeric Keyboard
- Logi+ Software allows customizing Mouse
CONS
- Memory Foam Pad too thin for my taste
- Keyboard not YET supported by Logi+ for customizing Key Shortcuts
- No Print Screen Key (Does have quick clip key instead)
- No dedicated Windows Key (Does have key that does serves as such, just no Windows logo for easy identification)
So, overall, I really love this keyboard. The wave design is EXCELLENT! I have used keyboards in the past that were similar, but they had this divided keyboard style where it was like two separate halves - they took up a lot of space and they didn’t feel natural to type on. Logitech solved both those issues with this new “wave” design - they keyboard actually takes up LESS space than my previous standard keyboard did and this is one keyboard (not two halves) and it took me only a few minutes to adjust to typing on it - it just feels natural and normal while putting your hands in a better ergonomic position. The keyboard is lacking a traditional “Print Screen” key and trades that out for a function key combo that will call up windows Snip Tool which is essentially the same thing, but I do wish they had included the old school print screen key as well. It also doesn’t have a “windows” key with the windows logo, but does have a key that serves as the Windows Key - but it’s gonna take me a while to remember which one it is since it isn’t marked and there are several keys around it for other purposes. On the other hand there are a lot of extra functions built into the keyboard which allow you to control sound and media as well as other utilities. Logitech did a good job packing a lot of extra functions in to help you out which is great. The Logi+ Software should eventually allow you to also create your own custom shortcuts and assign them to keys or key combo presses which is awesome - unfortunately, this keyboard is not yet supported by that software, but should be in the future.
The keys and the mouse are super quiet as stated. Yes, you will still make some sound when typing, but these are the quietest keys and mouse I’ve ever heard! I’m in an office so sound isn’t an issue, but this would be a great keyboard for home workers looking for something that won’t disturb a spouse or roommate.
I love that this combo supports both the included unifying receiver dongle as a way to connect as well as Bluetooth. I generally prefer the dongle as I think it uses less battery power and works great, but it’s nice to have the option to use Bluetooth, especially if I need to use it with an iPad Pro or something similar where I don’t have a place for the USB receiver. Brilliant decision by Logitech to build both options into this set.
The mouse feels great in my hand - I could tell right away it is better designed for ergonomics than my previous mouse. The clicks are solid while still being very quiet. The scroll wheel has a nice tactile feel to it while being super smooth. And I love that I was able to customize what clicking the scroll wheel will do via the Logi+ software - I made it open the Windows Screen Clip feature so it’d be quick and easy for me to screenshot anything at anytime. The mouse is solid and moves nicely and just works great.
I don’t buy keyboards that don’t have a separate numeric keyboard because anyone who has used this knows how handy it is. This keyboard does have that and it’s excellent - and the wave design still keeps the keyboard much smaller than my previous ones (as far as the width from left to right goes). This keyboard also has a built in memory pad wrist support. While I suppose it’s better than nothing and does improve the ergonomics over not having one at all, the memory foam seems thin and not so cushiony to me - I much prefer the gel wrist pad I was using with my old keyboard or the bead wrist support I use with my mouse both of which have a lot more give and cushion in them. The downside is that you can’t really replace this because it’s built into the keyboard and with the keyboard’s design, you’d never find one the right shape anyway. In spite of this, I can’t say that using the keyboard has made my wrist hurt or anything so it could be that I just like the more cushiony gel pad but what’s on this keyboard is enough to support my wrist in a healthy way.
Overall, this is an excellent keyboard and one I would definitively recommend considering. The wave design is probably the best I’ve ever typed on. The keys and mouse are super quiet as described. The keyboard is full featured with a numeric keyboard yet has a small footprint. The mouse works great and is comfortable in the hand. The wrist support isn’t as cushy as I’d like, but seems to offer good support. The Logi+ software works great with the mouse and hopefully will extend the functionality of the keyboard in the near future. Overall, I am very happy with this keyboard/mouse combo and will continue using it for my daily computer at work.

Nice travel size keyboard

Overall, I like the MK670 Keyboard/Mouse combo. The key feel and travel is great, the wrist pad is comfortable, and the keyboard itself with dimensions of roughly 15 inches wide by 9 inches tall is great for traveling; it fits in my laptop backpack along with the mouse, computer, charger, etc. with no problems.
Initial setup was only OK; this due to it being a newly released product and no documentation existing on the Logitech support website at the time of this review. Where I ran into issues was the app told me to press the Connect button on the keyboard, but unlike the mouse, there is no similar button on the keyboard, top, underneath, or sides. After much trial and error, it turns out that the F1 key is the Connect key, although I don't think the image on that key (which happens to be identical to F2 and F3) makes it very apparent.
Once I did get it connected though, I was mostly happy. They key feel and travel are great. The ergonomics of the keyboard make typing comfortable. The only thing that struck me though was the size of the keyboard and the keys is just a little too small for my oversized hands. The majority of the keys are exactly 1/2 inch square, which even after my full 1 week of working with it in my full time job (computer programmer), I found myself hitting multiple keys from time to time, and I had to slow down to type accurately. Understand, my normal "go to" keyboard is a full sized, wired, ergonomic keyboard; where the keys are of varying sizes, but none less than 9/16ths inches wide, and it just turns out that the extra 1/16th inch makes a difference for me. If you view the attached picture of my normal keyboard vs. the Logitech, you can perhaps see how a person might have difficulty going from one to the other.
I found it odd, but welcomed, that they include a full size mouse in this combo. My normal mouse is the exact same size and shape as the included mouse (also a Logitech), it's just that my mouse is made for left handed folks like myself and has a couple extra buttons. The included mouse fits well in my hand, tracks perfect, has great button and scroll wheel feel, and in general is a great quality mouse for a combo deal.
There were just a couple other things about the keyboard that I felt could have been improved. You get a light on the CapsLock key to indicate CAPS vs not; but there is no indicator for NumLock or Scroll Lock which feels like a miss. I don't think the function keys F1-F5 have very meaningful depictions of what their alternate use is, and as stated, at least as of this review, there isn't documentation on their website nor in the box on what they do.
Overall, it's still a big improvement over my laptop's keyboard, and I intend to use this one during travels. But I'm sticking with my trusty old wired ergo keyboard as my "daily driver".

Gentle, Quiet, Wave Keyboard (and Mouse)

Logitech is a brand I know and trust. I've rarely been disappointed by any of the Logitech computer/electronic accessories I've ever had.
This time, I wasn't sure what to expect from the Wave Keys MK670 keyboard. It came as part of a combo set, which was nice, even though the mouse itself is pretty basic. They are both made to be ergonomic in design, but the curved wave shape of the keyboard is subtle, yet enough for you to feel the difference versus that of a standard 'flat' keyboard surface.
It amazed me how "compact" this keyboard seems, even with the keys being normally spaced, and there being a dedicated keypad on the right-hand side.
And talk about quiet! Key presses barely make any sound at all. I'm more familiar with the 'clickey-clack' of the other keyboards I own. At first, this almost made me wonder if the key presses were registering. But sure enough, the proof was there on my screen. If anything, this made for softer, gentler key presses, which may also create less stress on your hands, fingers, and wrist joints.
Mouse clicks are also whisper quiet, along with the scroll wheel being smooth and virtually silent. The rubberized 'wavey' patterned sides, allows even my "smallish" sized lady hand to grip onto the mouse securely and comfortably.
While perhaps a minor feature, I'd still like to highlight the feet on this keyboard. They have rubberized strips affixed to them, which help to keep it from shifting position on whatever surface you have the keyboard placed upon.
Now, being familiar with a variety of Logitech products, I've come to appreciate the straightforward simplicity of their PC software. And you will want to install the Logi Options+ app. While pretty basic, for this Wave Keys MK670 keyboard and mouse combo, it still allows you to customize a few key features for these devices. And the USB Logi Bolt receiver provides wireless connectivity; working with both the keyboard and mouse.
The only downside, in my opinion, is that the memory foam palm rest is attached directly to the keyboard, and is not detachable. However, in this case, I really don't mind. The palm rest cushion is thin enough not to be in the way, and at the same time, comfortable enough to help ease the strain in your hands from long periods of typing.
Overall, this Logitech keyboard and mouse set performs just as I'd expected it to. The standard level of quality is there. So if you're looking for a more subtle, yet still, ergonomic style of keyboard (and mouse), this combo may be the right fit for you.

Very comfortable wireless mouse & keyboard

The Logitech Wave Keys MK670 Combo Wireless Ergonomic Keyboard and Mouse is a great solution for your wireless needs. Logitech is a trusted name and they didn't go wrong with this product. What I like best about this combo mouse and keyboard is that comfort is at the forefront for both the mouse and the keyboard. Whether you are a casual user or a professional who spends hours on the computer, the ergonomic design of both the keyboard and mouse are built to provide the utmost in comfort.
The keyboard features a wave design, which means the keys are slightly curved. It promotes a more natural hand postition, reducing strain and fatigue during prolonged typing. This is especially helpful for those that suffer from carpel tunnel syndrome like myself. Typing on the keys feels effortless, and the keys have a satisfying tactile feedback without being too loud. The keyboard is more compact than my last keyboard which gave me more room on my desk. The cushioned wrist pad adds to the overall comfort of this keyboard. It is a soft, breathable fabric and it in a color that won't show dirt.
The mouse is equally impressive in tems of comfort. It features an ergonic design that fits comfortably in your hand, allowing extended use without discomfort of strain. The contoured shape supports your hands natural posture and the rubberized side provide a secure grip. The mouse glides so smooth across the multiple surfaces and seems to be very accurate and precise.
It was very simple to install the keyboard and mouse and I would highly recommend this due to it's comfort.

As someone with carpal tunnel syndrome, I need an ergonomic keyboard to keep my hands and wrists from hurting. Unfortunately, my company does not supply these for the workers.
I received this set (keyboard and mouse) and was pleasantly surprised! It was super easy to connect. I only put in the batteries and I was off and running!
The comfort of the wave shape and the cushioned pad make typing extremely comfortable and do not strain my wrists.
I spend much of my day typing and this has made it much less painful!
The mouse seems like a typical mouse. Other than being wireless, it does not seem much different than the mouse that I replaced.
The keyboard and mouse are extremely reactive without any lag time.
The security measures at my job do not allow me to download the companion Logi Options+ app on my work computer. Honestly, there is nothing I would change if I could.
It is possible to change the pointer speed on the mouse and customize other actions including creating your own shortcuts but even without these customizations, I am extremely happy with this keyboard.
I got it for the comfort, anything else would be gravy

Quiet, quality keyboard and mouse combo

The Wave Keys MK670 Combo ergonomic keyboard and mouse was just what I was looking for. Coming off the gold standard of the early 00's (the wired Microsoft ergo keyboard) I had been looking for an equally reliable, comfortable and wireless keyboard WITHOUT the need for a USB receiver. What attracted me to this combo was that it offers both the option to connect via Bluetooth or the included USB-A 2.4GHz receiver. Given I only have one USB-A port on my laptop, connecting via Bluetooth is a big deal to me. And of course, should I ever need to switch to the included USB receiver (which stores nicely in the base of the mouse or keyboard, concealed in the battery compartment) I can.
I have had other Logitech branded products from desktop speakers to mice and webcams so I trusted the brand to deliver a level of quality better than any off-brand, online merchandise.
The mouse is a bit bigger than my previous (JLab) mouse. It is taking some getting used to. It is comfortable but big. Control is decent. [Note: I had a one day issue where the scroll roller was not moving content in Edge. Could have been an Edge/system issue. I rebooted and the problem continued, then was gone the next day.] There is a textured rubber grip on either side of the mouse. I have had mice with rubber grips on the side that breaks down over the years and starts to peel. Hopefully that will not happen to this mouse. The roller is smooth. You can download their app to control mouse settings such as swap left/right click, speed of pointer, roller, etc. The app also lets you set up "actions" similar to "If this then that" statements, however, I have no use for that feature.
While the mouse may be bigger, the keyboard is way smaller than my old Microsoft ergo. I am adjusting to the small footprint and the slight "offness" of my typing. While still a curved keyboard, letters mostly feel like they are in the same place, but because there isn't a gap down the middle like with my previous MS keyboard, I find myself fumbling a bit reaching for "secondary keys" like backspace, alt, or control. The keyboard does feel a bit cramped--which is something I am 100% sure I will get used to--but the trade-off of gaining square footage on my desk is worth it. The only useful function of the MS keyboard that I wish the Logi keyboard had is a quick, dedicated button to launch the calculator app at the number pad.
As for battery life, time will tell. Duracell AAA were included (2x) in the keyboard. A single Duracell AA was include in the mouse. Ideally, I would have preferred these devices be USB-C rechargeable but assuming I get a solid year or more of use with fresh batteries I will be happy. I think Logi estimates 2yrs on the mouse, 3 on the keyboard which seems optimistic.
Overall, very satisfied to have a BT keyboard/mouse combo that does not require a dongle occupying a USB port--but grateful there is the option to use a 2.4GHz USB receiver if needed.

This is the best wave keyboard that I have used. The mouse included in the combo/kit is probably my least favorite when compared to the other "comfort" style mice that I have been using from Logi...more info on that below.
I have been using the Wave "Pro" keyboard at home since about 2009, with a M705 mouse that replaced the Pro kit's mouse a few years after that. The drawback with that keyboard is that it needs its own/special 2.4 GHz receiver (not the unifying type) to function, and the M705 mouse needs its own receiver as well.
I also use the Wave K350/MK550 mouse combo at work, with a single unifying receiver. That keyboard is comfortable, but rather loud when typing and some of keys seem to take more pressure than others to be pressed down enough to be recognized.
This MK670 keyboard is smaller and quieter than both of those wave keyboards. The keyboard is just as wide as my 15" laptop. It can pair to a device either through the provided 'bolt' receiver (i.e., different and not compatible with the unifying receivers from Logi) or pair via Bluetooth. I have Bluetooth paired this device with my windows 11 laptop, and with my S21 android phone and the process was seamless. Just look for new BT devices, press and hold the F1 key on the keyboard for about 2 seconds and let go when the light is flashing, then your device will show a pairing code that you will need to type on the keyboard, press enter and about 2 seconds later your device will indicate that paring has been completed. BT Paring the mouse is just as easy as you will need to press and hold the paring button until the light flashes rapidly, let go of the button and give your device a few seconds to pair up with the mouse.
For pairing with the bolt adapter, which by the way is secured in one of the box flaps instead of inside the receiver holder in either the mouse or keyboard battery compartment (check box flap if you cannot find the receiver...) I did have some struggles when pairing the keyboard to the bolt receiver on my windows 10 desktop/PC. After a few paring attempts (power keyboard off then back on - try different usb ports for the bolt receiver - restart then a full shut down of the PC...), I ended up unplugging my wave pro receiver from the PC and then the MK670 keyboard finally paired to the bolt receiver. The mouse pairing was instant, so I only struggled with the keyboard.
Once paired, you will get a pop-up recommending that you install the Logi Options+ software, and I recommend doing so. Once that software opens, you will see the mouse paired with your device on the Logi screen (but for some reason the keyboard doesn't show up) and from the welcome screen you can click on smart actions and either start with one of their preset templates (Morning setup, BRB, Reply with ChatGDP, etc.) to have the software execute a series of tasks by configuring the template (or create your own). I did not experiment with these, but it does seem to have a lot of potential/future use possibilities.
What could be done better? I would recommend that Logi either include or allow the combo kits to have a comfort-style mouse included and not a regular looking/feeling M550L mouse. My fingers don't really fit on the top of the mouse as well as they do with the other 2 mice that I already own from Logi.

Easy to use and link between various laptops/PCs. Smaller keyboard from use of the Microsoft ergonomic version, but anything new takes some getting use to.
It's also a bit flatter than the Microsoft ergonomic keyboard which has a slightly more protrusive middle so your hands lay easily on it.
This keyboard has the arrow keys pulled into the main keyboard instead of normally being by themselves. I'll sometimes press the wrong button, but again, that's just adapting to the new keyboard.
The laptop/PC switch is easy to do with a simple press of the button.
However, beware that the mouse does not switch between laptops/PC. You'll have to buy a completely new mouse for that.
But for the price of the combo, it's pretty good.

The ergonomic design is very comfortable on the wrist allowing for more natural hand positions. Both the keyboard keys and mouse buttons are nice and quiet. This is especially critical in our work area with multiple people working adjacent to each outer. The accuracy is specific to the mouse pointer and location. It may be because the prior keyboard and mouse were a mismatched set with 2 dongles that may have caused interference or delay, but this bundle is responsive and accurate.
