--- SETUP --- The Logitech G Yeti was a quick setup. Out of the box, just connect the USB A to USB C cable and it works with plug and play. If you want to customize profiles and colors, then you must download the free Logitech software. --- FEATURES --- Plug and Play (no software needed out of box), customizable Lightsync RGB lights (syncs lighting with other Logitech products, like keyboards), noise suppressor, clear voice. --- PERFORMANCE AND EXPECTATIONS --- I have used Yeti microphones in the past and loved them. This one is no exception. From the beginning, I really enjoyed how I could start using it right away with a simple plug and play. The day it arrived, I actually had a Zoom meeting. Since I recently moved, I couldn’t find my current microphone, so I unboxed this one and plugged it in 20 minutes before my meeting started. Zoom immediately recognized the microphone and I did the quick mic check from Zoom to make sure I could be heard. The person running the meeting mentioned to me afterwards that, compared to the others in the meeting, I was the clearest when speaking. I showed her a picture of the mic I was using and immediately wanted one because of how cute it looked. After my meeting, I had time to download the recommended software, Logitech Hub. The install was quick, and the app is user friendly. You can do a quick tour guide which will enable you to do quick and easy customizations without all the nitty gritty. However, you can get deep into customization with voice filters, multiple personal profiles, and color variations that change depending on what the mic is doing at the moment, such as being on standby, muted, or active. For me, when on standby, it changes color. When active, I set it to a fixed green, and when muted, I set it to a fixed red. As far as gaming goes, I am currently playing Starfield alongside my friends. Though it is not a multiplayer game, a group of us log into discord and we just chat while gaming. Discord didn’t give me an issue recognizing the mic and my friends didn’t complain about me speaking using this new mic. The only thing I would suggest that could benefit this mic is to have a physical mute button. It is not a big deal for me and for what I intend to use it for, as most applications allow you to mute the mic from the app itself. However, I thought it would be important to mention if that is something you seek in a mic. --- APPROVAL --- For gamers who are venturing into mics, this is a great entry level microphone that is sure to satisfy most of your starting needs. I would recommend this microphone to anyone wanting to step up their mic gaming from what is normally included on laptops.

So this Logitech Yeti Orb mic is fairly good, especially for novice/new streamers. Or even those who just want a dedicated mic. Overall, the design is minimal and simple. It feels decently built, but does suffer a bit from its poly design when sitting on a desk. Rest assured, the stand is detachable, and this can be mounted on a boom. The cable, at 2m, is long enough to reach under the desk as needed for most setups. Though, for boom setups, this may not prove long enough, depending your setup. Luckily, it's just a USBC to A cable, so easily replaced/upgraded. In using the mic, I found it to be fairly competent to stream while gaming, as well as making videos.Logitech did it's best to make this entry level device appealing visually, but it does come short a little, though, it does pack some customizable RGB attributes in the "G" logo and above it. This can be set via the G Hub app, which also allows further voice enhancement to your specific liking with Blue Vo!ce presets. This does decently with its custom condenser, it eliminated a good amount of ambient background noise, such as my fan, but did not mitigate keyboard or mouse clicks. Overall, this is a very good entry choice for anyone looking at streaming or keeping on hand for a backup, or whatever your case may be.

This is a fantastic microphone, and quite the upgrade from my previous Yeti from 4 years ago. This microphone captures voices very clear, but also does a great job of capturing bass from your voice. I was so pleased with the audio quality that I re-recorded our phone tree menu at my work, and it sounds great! The Logitech G Hub software offers tons of customizations, including BlueVoice, which is a set of preset filters you can run your audio through. The BlueVoice optimization really does a great job at enhancing your voice for whatever the intended purpose is. The microphone is bigger than I expected, I figured it would be half this size. It does take up more room on my desk than I anticipated, but, in instances where I need high quality audio, it's worth it. The G Hub app also allows you to use LightSync to change the color f the LogiTech logo on the back of the microphone. I have a LogiTech Lightspeed mouse and I am able to sync the colors up for a very nice effect. Overall, really solid microphone, does a great job with auto, tons of eq settings, and the app is amazing.

The Yeti Orb delivers amazing sound quality for gaming, streaming, and calls. It’s super easy to set up and the LIGHTSYNC adds a nice modern touch. For the price, it feels premium and professional. Highly recommend

PHYSICAL FORM Logitech Yeti Orb is their new (2023) entry-level, gaming microphone that comes with a stand and a USB cable to connect to your computer (doubles as the power cable). The stand itself can come off and there's another screw hole available if you'd like to mount it on another stand/arm. The entire set up is super light (~1/2 lb) but sturdy enough - I could see it being knocked over every once in a while there's a lot of activity happening nearby. There's also a small "G" on the microphone that has an RGB light on it to customize. Keep in mine that if the microphone is directly in front of you, the viewer will see that "G" illuminated. The one function missing on the device itself is that there is no mute button, which is incredibly convenient to have but not essential. SOUND QUALITY Voice/Sound pick-up is entirely dependent on where this microphone is situated on your desk space - I'd say a good, comfortable position would be about 1 foot from your face. Even if you have a lot of background noise, having the microphone about a foot from your face will be sufficient enough to be able to soften the background sounds (it won't cancel all the noise) and still hear you very clearly. One concern I have is that it CAN pick up sounds from a mechanical keyboard (as opposed to quieter membrane keyboards), which could be a concern for some gamers. It's a well known fact that the gaming community has a propensity to favor mechanical keyboards for the tactile feedback and, oftentimes, lower latency for gaming. That being said, I live in a studio with a somewhat loud central A/C system and always have my air purifier on (situated probably 15' away) and the Yeti Orb was great at not picking those sounds up at all. Keep in mind that this is very much an entry-level microphone so it's not intended for high quality podcasting; though, going to that level changes the price point by a significant amount (2-3x the cost, typically). LOGITECH G HUB SOFTWARE The Logitech app allows you to program the microphone so that you can control the mute through other applications, such as Zoom (e.g. muting in Zoom will mute the microphone so you don't have to do it separately through the Logitech app). There are three (3) major settings available through the Hub software- microphone settings, lighting (LIGHTSYNC), and Sampler. The microphone settings is normally just set to change the mic input but if you enable "BLUE VOICE", there are additional equalizer and audio signal settings; there are also some presets as well. One fun function is custom voice settings, which allows you to change the sound of your voice - robot, alien, high pitched, etc. The Sampler section is used to create custom macros or assign them directly to a key (e.g. you can preset a sign off blurb instead of having to say it every time). LIGHTSYNC actually has a lot of options in it, similar to all the other light-up Logitech devices, but given how small the light is on the microphone, I don't think it's all that worthwhile.

Really nice gaming microphone. If you want to start streaming or recording your gaming sessions. This is the Mic for you, and you wont break the bank. Its a really good solution for people like me that are just starting their gaming/streaming ventures. They include a nice desk tripod and its very functional. However the orb itself has also a metal hole so if you wish in the future you can use a tripod or arm to fix it to. They include a nice and very large USB type C to A cable and also I was surprised to see they include also a code for streamlabs ultra! With this (and a nice webcam), you will have all you need all you want to stream. And even if you don't stream, you can just use the Mic as your machines mic for online gaming. The sound quality is so good it will blow most headphones integrated mics out of the water! You just plug it in a USB port, and download Logitech's Ghub software (I was surprised to see how well polished and good looking it is now, I have not used it for ages, good job Logitech). From there, it will detect it and in my case it prompted a firmware update which was quick. Then you can use the software to configure and tweak your mic to your liking. There are so many features to play with. Just to mention a few, you can control the lighting (yest it has a small RGB light on the back). Then enable Blue voice if you want, and tons of effects. Sound quality is great. I logged in discord to play with my friends without telling them I had this new mic. Right away they were asking what was different, they could hear me clearer and with much more quality. Then I started to mess up with the sound effects and different distortions available. Like I chose an alien voice (there are tons), you can sound to them like Darth Vader if you wish it haha. Highly recommend it if you want to up your Mic quality and/or start streaming without breaking the bank!!

I recently picked up the Logitech Yeti Orb microphone, and it's quite a good value for gamers, or anyone looking to move beyond a crusty built-in headset or webcam mic. First off, let's talk about convenience. This microphone presents itself to the system as a regular USB microphone. There's no need to have Logitech G Hub installed to use it, though if you want to change the RGB settings you will need to install it at least once to do that, and the settings are saved on the device itself. There is no audio processing on-board the mic, it's all done through G Hub. The G Hub software comes with a decently sized suite of voice effects, filters, and noise removal, with full customization of all options that the built-in effects/filters make use of, so you can tweak presets to your liking or make entirely new ones yourself. The noise removal is not some type of AI-based system, though, so while it's good for fan or other regular, low-level background noise, it will not completely remove sporadic effects like a squeaking chair, heavy typing, or particularly loud mouse clicks. It does include a standard mounting screw, so you can ditch the table stand and use a boom arm if you wish to reduce particularly heavy keyboard thunking. You can make macros to play audio effects or change filter effects in G Hub, but it should be noted that it requires you to use supported Logitech keyboards/mice. If you don't have any other Logitech peripherals, you can still use sound bytes and filters, but you have to manually navigate the software to activate them. One thing I absolutely love about this microphone is the built-in pop filter. You don't need to fuss with external filters; it's got you covered. And the low noise floor? Fantastic. It makes my recordings sound crisp and clean without any unwanted background noise. The pop filter built into the mic is fantastic, and it's great to have no need to fuss with any add-ons that would take away from its understated design. It has a low noise floor, and thanks to the integrated USB interface you don't need to worry about the quality of your mic ports or a DAC/amp, or other interference from a long audio cable. Finally, the RGB is minimal - just a strip that faces the user, and the G logo on top. If you're specifically looking for an "RGB" microphone, there are flashier options available - but if you're looking for a good no-frills microphone with everything included at a reasonable price, you should definitely consider the Yeti Orb.

I got this with little research and hoped for the best and it delivered exceptional results considering. Solid quality, great sensitivity. Will get the job beyond done if you need a mic for your setup.

Bought this mic because the mic dongle on my headset (detachable) was messing up. I really like my headset and didnt want to make a crazy investment on getting a new one if the mic was the only issue. After research, I decided to purchase this mic. This was within my budget. For me, this is a great mic! Whether it this is for casual gaming, discord, or streaming, youll be getting a VERY crisp sound. Alot of options to customize the sound levels wit GHUB. I use this mic on a Mac; no issies to date. The setup was also super easy. Looking forward to my future setup once I upgrade to a PC. The downside to the product in my opinion, is not having a mute option.

Pretty good mic that is easy to use. Voice quality is good and has an app, that allows you to tweak the settings if you want a different sound profile.

Great microphone, good quality, great price. Only problem is that there is no mute button. But other than that, it does exactly as needed.

i was looking for a replacement for my Hyperx Quadcast S since it just stop working on me. Did some research on the Logitech Yeti Orb. it has great sound and a nice sleek compact look. It plugs in and works quickly and easily on both Windows and Mac with no setup. I love the look as it actually compliments my workspace versus cluttering it. Great price, great look and great quality. I highly recommend this product.

I was actually quite surprised how good this microphone is; as I typically use Logitech headsets with the mic piece on the side. Onfe i got used to it, the sound quality is much better.

This mic is amazing. My voice is super clear. The Logitech app works perfectly. It is super easy to use. I use it to role play in GTA, it’s great.

Great mic, not beginner friendly but over a good microphone for gaming or communication. There's no mute button so it's live when something is using it. You need to know how to setup a key bind for mute button.

This microphone is really budget-friendly and has pretty clear audio. It has settings through the downloadable app and is easy to understand.
