Purchased these for my girlfriend’s PC with basic expectations until she put on some music. The speakers + sub quality sounded and felt like a recording studio out of the box.

I'm pretty happy with the sounds on this set. The previous reviews helped me make my decision and I don't regret it. For the price, you really can't go wrong. If your expecting theater quality bass out of a 4" woofer, keep looking. But for just listening to music play while your working out or on the computer, this is a great set.

As a teacher, I wanted something that was loud and clear, to play music and movies in my classroom.
First of all, you can't beat the price, so I wasn't expecting a lot.
The speakers are plenty loud. I like the desktop controller for volume and on/off. But, the are a bit muddy in the mids. It's a shame when listening to music but movie dialog is fine.
For the price, I got what I paid for.
Overall, I'm very happy.

This Speaker kit provides all the basic features - separate volume control with headphone plug in - pair of tabletop speakers and a small sub. There are no separate controls for the Sub. The power button / volume control / headphone plugin can only extend a maximum distance of 5'4" from the sub. This may limit your placement as I wanted to place the sub in a location behind me and due to the cord length its impossible.

I purchased these speakers because I have had Logitech Speakers for my computer for years and years. These do sound pretty good, but I don't like the fact that you can't adjust the bass on them which means they are lacking in the lower decibel range. The small speakers sound clear, but don't have much mid range. If you are looking for a cheap and decent sounding set of speakers these are for you, but don't expect Bose or other more expensive speakers.

Originally got these so that I had speakers for my office (and wouldn't rely on a headset). The sound quality is great for the price and they work well for a small office.

I got this item to give as a gift I hooked it up to the computer sounded really good. I think if you're in a real large room it probably would not sound as good but if you're putting these in an office in the house or your bedroom for the computer I don't think you would need anything else unless you wanted a whole full theater set up

I needed to replace a similar speaker set that died after about 15 years of heavy use. The first set that I received had a bad sub-woofer (constant buzz even with no input); I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to make a trip to the store to exchange it. These speakers are not super high quality, but they are a good value considering how cheap they are. Music and videos sound fine on them for individual, daily computer use.
