I bought these because I had a Best Buy gift card to waste. I didn't expect much out of a $40 set of pc speakers. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised. The bass is a bit higher than I'd like compared to the mids and highs, but still sounds quite good. If you're on a budget these are the speakers you want.

Bought these to pair with my Audio-Technica LP60x. Easy to set up & sound great!

I am constantly blown away by how good these speakers are. I was concerned that with their small size that they might sound tinny. The don't at all. Basses are deep and strong and when there are brass instruments played they sound clear and crisp. I could not ask for better speakers than these are.

The first one I bought was a dud, I guess. Couldn't get the subwoofer and two speakers to work together, but Best Buy had wonderful customer service and let me switch it for a new one immediately. Second one is great, I just don't like all of the cords because of the little control pod. Would've had 2 cords less if the headphone plug and volume was just on one of the speakers. The sound is as good as it can be for the price. It does go up to it's max without distortion. *Just be sure to connect the speakers into the back of the subwoofer if you're not looking at the setup instructions. When my parents tried setting it up they kept connecting it into the headphone place on the pod xD

Needed a small desktop set of speakers. Read the reviews, chose the Z313 for price and reviews. Was not disappointed at all. While I am not an audiophile, I like the sound, crisp and clear. Just the right amount of base for me from sub. I would recommend these speakers to anyone.

this product would be good for average uses (videos, music at low volumes, etc). the system has good sound but slightly lacks a good sattelite to subwoofer transition. setup was a snap and there is plenty of chord for the control pad. if your are looking for a decent pair of speakers these are a good choice if you listen to louder music these are not a good choice

Theses speakers have great sound and bass quality. My only complaint is that there is no bass volume control knob on the subwoofer. I bought these speakers intending to upgrade from the Logitech LS21, but I feel like its more a downgrade by not having bass volume control. Won't be much longer now until my neighbors complain lol.

I was just looking for simple speakers for my new computer but I decided to go with these since the sale price was only 5$ more than the simple speakers.Wow! I am so glad I did! These are awesome. The music souds great and I can't wait to watch movies from Netflix on here! Pay the extra money for these...you won't regret it!!!

My sisters boyfriend had bought these for his new computer so i went to test them out for him. plug them in and they where great. so i went down to best buy and bought my own. they are really good speakers and since ive been using monitor speakers for 3 years, these are amazing. and for $34 dollars they where a great value

These speakers weren't actually $5. But that's what I paid. BestBuy had a deal it was selling for $15 and I had a 10 reward certificate. I paid just 5 dollars. This item is worth the 40/50 that it retails for. It has a loud bass that you can control with just a switch. Great sound quality.

Like on/off volume control switch which is easy to position next to computer. For small speakers / computer, sound is excellent. Not going to replace full audio system, but for listening to radio and other computer things at my desk sounds excellent. I positioned sub woofer at wall corner and bass is plenty.

This is a great little speaker system. I mix live sound on some high end systems, and this little guy does quite a good job in the sub $50 market. Obviously there could be some improvements made, but I was really impressed by the clarity of the sound and by the punch in the woofer. One thing to note is that I'm using this on my computer and have a fully adjustable equalizer for all my sound, which allows me to control the bass level (as the woofer itself has no bass control knob). In demoing this alongside the next level 2.1 system by Logitech (which has a bass control knob), the clarity on this one simply was better. Great value, great looks, great sound.

I wanted 2.1 speakers for my laptop just to listen to Internet radio. Had tried a few and the subwoofers didn't have any bass. These speakers sound nice ... for the price. The subwoofer has some bass - certainly good enough for my needs. They are nicely made and look good.

You just can't get sound this good for this price. I even like the sound of these better than the Klipsch, even though they aren't quite as loud. Sound is very clear and bass is good. The volume is the only thing that could be a little better and still it's as good as you could expect for this price.

I bought these for my son's computer. The sound quality is very good, not great, but very good. For the price, I am very satisfied, and so is my son. If you want inexpensive computer speakers, I highly recommend these.

Bought back in February it's now November. To date I haven't had any issues. Great sound quality and bass at times can be a little to good. I live on the second floor so I make sure not to turn it up to loud at night. But even with the volume low sound quality is good.

I bought these for our desktop and we are very pleased. Easy to set up and they sounds great. We decided to start with the cheaper set and see how they did and if they were not any good we would return and get the more expensive set, there was no need to return this set. Great sound and great price

I was able to use my rz account, and acquire these speakers for just $30! At first, i was a little weary on low costing speakers, but when i got them home and hooked up, i was shocked on the quality they put out!! So for the low price, and great quality, i would recommend these to any friend!!!

just got them a couple of days ago but dam there nice sounds great , loud ,clear for the money there great won,t be disapointed

I read all the reviews before my purchase. Honestly, I can't, and don't want to, wrap my mind around some people and their reasoning for slamming products and/or other people. Seems to be the trend for "Reviews" and "Comments" columns, unfortunately. For complaints about being able to adjust the bass or treble levels, most PC's/laptops sold in the past 5 years come with Realtek, or some form of audio customizing software, to support fine tuning the sound. Come on, man! Out the door for less than $35 with a powered sub, a remote control that allows one to spread the speakers out for better separation AND plug headphones into? No, it won't fuel a RAVE, DISCO or Lamb of God concert, was never designed to!! My system is on all day, 5 days a week for three months now, at low to moderate volume levels and I think the sound is SUPERIOR, FOR THE MONEY! It is a great desktop PC sound system!
