I just want sound, so I can watch a few videos and listen to a little music. These speakers do have a good sound, although they tend to favor the higher pitches a bit. Once I adjusted my computer's graphic equalizer, I am quite happy with the sound of these speakers. Having the on off switch, volume control and headphone jack on a separate unit is a nice touch. I can put the control unit in a very accessible location, and that way I do not have to fuss with the speakers to turn them on, or adjust the volume.

I attached to my PC, which I use for about everything - TV, movies, games, music. I definitely recommend if one is looking for a reasonably priced option.

She works off of her laptop and likes to play music and she occasionally plays sims. To her these are the best speakers for what she needs them for.
