after 18 months, the speakers started buzzing, sound is too heavy in the Bass range

I bought this system without reading a review, and am a little disappointed. They have good base, but no treble to speak of or any way to adjust it like my previous old school speakers had. No tone control is a big negative for me.

I love it. Very good image quality, although sometimes it looks better than real life. The sound is ok. Louder when viewing videos on Amazon or Netflix. Have to turn up the volume to watch regular network TV. Will likely buy a soundbar soon.

I had a audio failure with a speaker system I had used for 30 years. These replacement speakers were an excellent replacementfor the ones I had. Once out of the box they were connected and playing excellent sound in less than 4 min utes.

I want to Best Buy to get a set of speakers and I didn’t want to spend too much and I saw this set of speakers that was only $50 and decided to give it a chance and when I got home I was absolutely in love with them and it was very much worth the money

These speakers work extremely well with the controls of my new keyboard. Of course, they work extremely well overall! The bass is powerful but you won't want to crank it up if anyone lives below you!

I have always had small speakers for my computer music because of space constraints, so I bought these originally for their size. Imagine my shock to find out how really good these speakers are! Songs I have listened to for years suddenly made sense because I could hear and understand the words, and since I talk a lot to my friends back East on Skype, it is great to not keep asking them to repeat things. I love these speakers! A huge Thank You to the salesperson who recommended them!

I got tired of using whatever I could find to raise my monitor. With this, it raise my monitor a little higher than I wanted, but it provides usable storage space underneath my monitor now. Just don't put the monitor too close the the edge, or it will roll.

I found this speaker system too confusing to use. I hooked it up to the stereo system I purchased, but had to not only use the separate volumes on the speakers, but also the one on my system, and my system sounded better without the speakers. I tried to use them with my brand new laptop and the speakers hummed, so had to unhook them. The bass is plenty loud enough, to the point that it sounds like it's separate from the sound of the speakers, and they just don't marry well, and the bass just boomingly thuds, rather than enhancing the bass sound of the music playing. I haven't had the ride yet, but am going to be returning it to my nearest store as soon as I'm able.

I am returning these to the store. These speakers have a horrible static noise. I have tried multiple wall outlets and tried different locations and the static is still there. I have been reading online forums and this seems to be a common issue. What a disappointment.

These speakers have worked perfect since day one. I play mp3 music files frequently while working on my computer.

Sound quality is really "Average +". For the dollars. For the small amount of money invested this is a good computer speaker system. Of course, it isn't going to sound like an audiophile speaker system. If you're not willing to invest a lot of dough this should keep you satisfied.

After reading several reviews I decided to purchase this speaker set up. I connected them to my Visio TV because the speakers and sound wasn't very good. I have this TV in my bedroom and these work very well in this environment. The only regret is no remote to control the volume.

I can confidently say to stay away from these speakers. Don't let the 4.5-star rating fool you. These things provide a whopping amount of bass. Honestly, however, it's too much bass for how weak and terrible the satellite speakers are. The satellite speakers are all tinny treble with absolutely no mids. Trying to mix that sound with the thudding subwoofer was not a great experience. I literally had these on my desk for 15 minutes and promptly put them back in the box to return to Best Buy. I'm pretty disappointed, I WANTED these to sound good. I like how they look and the small subwoofer fit perfectly under my desk. But nope, they're garbage.

Great speakers, only draw back is you might have to keep adjusting the base when you watch talking videos to when you listen to music. The plus side is they auto shutoff with the computer..

These speakers are really good. I am constantly worried my kid may jump up and poke his finger through the speaker, but so far, it hasn't happened yet. I really do love these speakers

For the price these aren't that bad. If you're looking for deep base, crisp tones, and dynamic range...probably need to spend more. But for a quick set of cheap speakers they work great.

A little difficult to set up at first, but that could be because I’m not very tech savvy, but these speakers function great and I’ve had no difficulties since.

They sound pretty good for being what they are. They're better than monitor speakers and not as good as 5.1 surround. What I do like is that they're easy to hook up and easy to live with.
