Sound system

Apparently there is nothing to cushion the inside elements of the system from the case so there is a perpetual rattle or vibration when it is in use.

Get what you pay for!

Distortion and scratchy sounds from satellites and overpowered bass sub/w made barnyard noises! Hopefully this was just a defective set as most Insignia products are reliable with OK sound.

Mediocre Speakers

sub has crackling sounds when turned on. Defective

The sub does nothing but crackle and pop and sound absolutely horrible .. This item is going back. I was going to buy the BOSE companion series but since i researched this speaker set first.. and seen all the great reviews .. i figured i would try out Logitech speaker systems. I am normally a Yamaha HTR user.. but trying to save space and not have an all out HTR system in my 10x10 home office. As such would be over kill. Will return these and look at the Bose Companion 3s or just go use my Yamaha HTR that i already own.

Ok sound but stopped working in 3 weeks

I may have just got a defective set up so hopefully this new one Logitech is sending lasts longer.

Great Sound for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My little speakers started crackling so I needed a new set.. These were actually a little more than I wanted to spend but I was able to compare them to others in store. I got them home, hooked them up and was wowed by the overall sound quality. They are not exceptionally loud but very clear across the volume range. A lot of smaller speaker sets have terrible bass, either too booming or non existent. This set has a good sub woofer adjustment that allows you to adjust your bass to your tastes. Hooking them up is a bit different than other sets but in no way difficult. My one complaint is that the speaker cords are a bit short for me. The cords are adequate for smaller spaces though. The bottom line is that these speakers sound great! I'm really glad I spent the extra $15-20

I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your new Logitech computer speakers. If you are looking for more power at a similar price range, I suggest trying the Z407. Also, I recommend you download an audio manager for Windows, such as FxSound; this app will let you adjust different audio frequencies with more precision than Windows Audio Mixer. Logitech appreciates your product insight.

Not as good as older Logitech speakers
