Love the sound quality and speakers. Only complaint is the battery powered wireless sound control. Not a fan of having to buy batteries for it.

I love music! I also love playing games on my computer. So, when I got the Logitech Z407 Bluetooth computer speakers, I was excited. The speakers are easy to set up. You just plug them into an outlet and connect them to your computer or phone using the included cables. Then, you can start listening to music or playing games. The speakers sound great! The bass is really deep and the treble is really clear. I can hear all the different instruments in my favorite songs. And when I'm playing games, the sound really makes the game more immersive. The speakers are also versatile. You can use them for listening to music, watching movies, or playing games. And they're even portable, so you can take them with you to a friend's house or on a camping trip. Overall, I'm really happy with the Logitech Z407 Bluetooth computer speakers. They're great for listening to music, playing games, and watching movies. And they're really easy to set up and use. I would recommend these speakers to anyone who wants great sound and a versatile speaker system. The only complaint is there is a bit of lag when adjusting the volume using the puck.

I am always listening to music, so when opportunities to review headphones, earbuds and speakers come around - I jump right in. Pros: Wireless volume control Great sound Easily tuned subwoofer levels Cons: Dial bottom grip affected by dusty and can then slip around Loud mode change (volume vs sub) chime Inconsistent browser interaction While opening the box for these Logitech Z704 speakers for setup, the wireless volume dial was right up top. While unpacking, it’s noticeable that all three pieces of the setup were packaged well. The speakers require their own wire with color-coded RCA plug to the subwoofer. The length of the wire is enough that I can use them without issue on my motorized stand-up desk in stand-up mode without putting strain on the cables. The speakers are a bit bigger than I had anticipated from seeing images. When on their side, they are 8 inches (20 cm) wide by just shy of 4 inches (10 cm) high and 3 inches (7.6 mm) deep at the biggest dimensions.. They ALMOST fit under my home made monitor stand as the front is too tall and therefore can’t go completely under (see pic). Pairing was quite simple given the button on the bottom of the dial. I paired it very quickly with both an Alienware Aurora R9 running Windows 10 and Google Pixel Slate running ChromeOS. Bluetooth selection from the device will steal it from the active one once paired, as expected and a chime indicates that there was some sort of pairing accomplished. This set also supports 3.5mm audio sources and those that connect via USB when hooked up to the subwoofer, should you not want to (or are not able to) use Bluetooth. Switching between the modes (USB/3.5/BT) is as easy as pushing a button under the dial right next to the Bluetooth pairing button. The wireless volume dial is a great idea and uses AAA batteries. It has a decent rubberized grip on the bottom, but make sure you dust your placement area first, the dial will slide around if it’s dusty. During all my initial use after setup, the subwoofer was emitting a static sound & popping. I reached out to Logitech with a video of the issue and it was replaced very quickly. The rest of the review is based on the replacement speaker set. I found the volume dial to be very responsive when in use. When your computer or other device goes to sleep, so does the dial. At that point, you have to tap and wait a second or two for it to wake up, so you can adjust the volume again. For example, I was listening for a while and got a call and I found that rotating the dial to lower the volume, didn’t do anything. Pressing down on the dial and waiting a few seconds gave me control back; I’d almost rather the action of rotating the dial be enough to wake it from a sleep / power save state. Adjusting the bass by holding down the dial is good and saves me from going under the desk for a manual adjustment on other vendors, however the chime to let you know you’re in subwoofer adjustment mode (vs volume mode) is LOUD! A chime more in line with the current volume would be better, but at least you know you’re adjusting the bass for that moment. Control of pause/skip/rewind does NOT work on Windows Chrome or the YouTube Music (YTM) App, but it does with Edge. Weird. Controlling the audio / music stream in ChromeOS with YTM in either Chrome or the App, works as expected. It’s tough to go to Chrome on Windows from ChromeOS and lose pause / skip capabilities for a browser you use primarily; I don’t like using Edge. On a side note, a nice minor change to the dial, would be a slight indentation for your finger, if you wanted to spin the top to adjust the volume like you were using a Google Home speaker, vs spinning it at the middle. I’m happy with Sound, the bass and overall appearance of the Logitech Z704 speakers. I listen to most genres of music, but am more regularly a Cali Reggae and Alternative Rock listener. From guitar to keyboards and brass, these speakers are nice and pack a punch when pressed to do so. If you need a nice 2.1 computer speaker set and don’t mind that the speakers need to be hard-wired to the subwoofer, I’d say pick these up. If you have a Tenkeyless keyboard (like me!) and it doesn’t have volume control, the wireless dial is a time and annoyance saver. Or, if you have anything that supports a 3.5mm plug for output and no Bluetooth (old iPod, Echo Dot, etc.), this will bring life back to the old device and/or add superior audio value wherever it’s used. Overall, it’s a nice setup and if the design works for you, I have no doubt that the sound will be delivered.

The Logitech 2.1 Bluetooth speakers is a great entry point for anyone looking to get some decent sound quality at a fair price. There are some areas it does fall short so hopefully this review will help with your buying decisions. Let's talk about the basics here real quick. Out of the box your going to get your two speakers, main bass box, all the necessary wires and a wireless hub to control sound and playback. Let me start by saying this is a Bluetooth set up and not a wireless set up. The only thing that is wireless is the sound hub which runs off of 2 AAA batteries. Set up is very easy and can be done either via Bluetooth or through the provided 3.5 mm cable. I tested this against my ps4, android phone, and PC. Both set ups worked really good through Bluetooth except my pc. While trying to run it through the Bluetooth audio was badly distorted and would not come through crystal clear. I can't really blame Logitech for this as i don't truly know where the problem lies. What i ended up having to do was run the speakers to my PC through the 3.5 mm cable and everything worked just fine. One thing i was disappointed to see was the lack of a app to allow further customization of sound control and quality, mainly speaking of the bass speaker. The Bass speaker looks nice and with a downward facing subwoofer i was really hoping this thing would shake the ground when the bass hit. I was wrong however. Sound quality on this set up seems to focus more on clarity and vocals then it does on any other area. While playing games like COD, bass was decent around explosions and could be felt. Now don't get me wrong bass can be adjusted through the wireless hub however even at full setting it just seems like the unit is trying to hard to push it through. That's not to say the sound quality is horrible because its not. Your going to pick up on vocals and your highs very well and with very good quality, however compared to some of my other speakers that i have that are very identical to this set up, the Logitech falls short of keeping up. Through the wireless audio hub you can do some basic task like raise the volume, pause the track and skip/rewind the next track and well that's pretty much it. Overall guys im keeping this review short because, well basically this unit is as average as it gets. There's not a whole lot of features, and there is no use of a app to control features or fine tune your audio device Sound and voice quality is very clear with decent bass however that's about where it ends. I own a lot of Logitech products and for me this would be a hard pass for two reasons. One, i like full control of my audio sounds via a provided equalizer, and two certain sound qualities are lacking. Over all this is a great set up if you are on a budget or looking for some discreet speakers. For most people this is going to be enough however im very picky when it comes to my audio and at the end of the day for me, this a basic set up at best and nothing else.

Ayo I love these things. I've had the Z200s for years but wanted some more OOMF. Super easy to set up and I like that the speakers can be upright or sideways - fits your desk setup nicely. Had no issues with connecting to Bluetooth w/ PC and there's no audible delay when watching videos or movies. I want to note my experience buying these speakers. I was down to buy them at the price I was seeing online. About $110 - I went inside and picked up the speakers from the shelf and saw they were in-store for $75. Even happier. I brought it up to the cashier and it wrang up $110. I was only curious to see what price they'd honor so we checked the tag, and SKU - they were the same. Just to make sure I wasn't picking up the wrong item in the wrong spot, we walked back, and it says $74.99. Only maybe 5 minutes pass, he chats with some people and he gives me the OK that they're honoring the in-store price. Hopefully can fill out a survey soon so this gets back to him. Super stoked with the purchase and experience with the dude!

This speaker set is pretty impressive for the price. I was looking for something that would sound respectable when I wasn't using my headphones (Sennheiser HD598 SE). I can't say these speakers are 100% comparable to the headphones, but they are surprisingly clean sounding and rich. The subwoofer provides solid punchy bass and matches well with the satellites. Even with the sub mounted under my desk the low end sounds like it's coming from the satellites and the sound is unified and clear with no low end muddiness. High end is very crisp as well and the set gets louder than is comfortable for me without distortion. They aren't as balanced and accurate as my headphones, but they are pleasant to listen to, and I don't feel any frequencies are distractingly exaggerated or missing. The wireless controller is also a nice touch. I didn't think I would like it at first, but its very convenient to use. It works well, looks simple and clean, and the speakers are very responsive to the controller with no delays. The only complaint I have with the set is that when they go to sleep they seem to take forever to wake up sometimes. You can force them to wake up by turning the dial on the controller, but it would be preferable if they were just more responsive. A small complaint overall though for such great sound at a reasonable price!

this speaker is great for computers and gaming consoles, but by far the best thing I love about it is the Bluetooth capabilities. the wireless controller lets you go anywhere within range and control whatever it is that you're hearing and the sound is crisp and loud you could even hook it to an outlet anywhere in the house and pair it up, boom now you jamming to a great sound quality

Compare these to the Pebble 2.1 system. Logitech and Creative have been making speakers for a LONG time. I prefer these, more about Creative below. These might be the best sounding Logitech speakers I have ever purchased. Some audiophiles might discount these for how non-audio they look and the fact that they are squarely focused on PC users. These are GREAT speakers for the cost. They're not going to go insanely loud and they're not going to match a system three times the cost, but for the application, you really can't match these. I had the v1 of the Pebble speakers and they are great, especially when including the subwoofer, but the wiring coming off of the single right speaker is not as great a plan as the way these Logitech speakers are wired back to the sub. It's much easier to work with for a desk. This is an easy recommendation. Just buy these.

Great all-around product as far as speakers go with some decent quality sound and some thumping base from the subwoofer this is the perfect computer speaker set the only reason I give it four stars is because of the sound adjustment hockey puck it comes with it is slow to connect and does not always control the Volume immediately.

I was a little skeptical about it when I first purchased it, because not all units that have a sub woofer have a decent sounding bass. But After unboxing and the easy set up to my pc, It is nice that you have the option to have the speakers horizontal or vertically depending on your setup. after using it for a few weeks, the sound quality is actually decent, from listening to podcast, YouTube, movies and music, it surpassed what I was expecting for sound quality.

Pros: * Good sound quality for the size * Satellite speakers can be placed sideways to save vertical space Cons: * User Manual has to be obtained online, and it is needed due to complex and unintuitive operations of the remote control. * Very short 3.5mm cable. You'd want to use a long USB cable for PC anyway so separate purchase is required. * Can connect up to 3 devices (3.5mm/USB/Bluetooth), but lacks of a sound mixing option for a speaker system that is not exactly cheap. This is my first encounter to a Logitech product that isn't intuitive and UX friendly. For a replacement of my desktop speaker system, it works well. However as mentioned above, a lot of missed opportunities and flatly user unfriendly elements exist. It can be a good buy if you want to have the speakers lie flat due to not have enough vertical spaces. Otherwise you might want to see what other options are out there.

I bought the Logitech Z407 speaker system to upgrade my PC audio and I'm pretty satisfied with it. The sound quality is good, the bass is powerful and the wireless control is convenient. The speakers are easy to set up and connect via Bluetooth or aux cable. The only downside is that the subwoofer is a bit bulky and the volume knob on the control is too sensitive. Overall, I think this is a good speaker system for the price and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple and effective PC audio solution.

I purchased these speakers to replace a set in my office that died. They were a good fit for the price point that I was searching for, and I have been very pleased. The sound quality is great and I love the Bluetooth connection option that helps to reduce the wires to control around my desk. I can also easily switch the connection to my phone if desired. One note...a couple of reviews I read indicated that to have integrated volume control on your computer with a visible volume indicator, you must use one of the two available wired connection options. That is not the case, as it works great with my laptop running Windows 11.

I recently purchased a Logitech Z337 system for my new office space. It was fine. Not great. Just okay. The sound quality was a bit muddied and bassy for my tastes. I like bass, but I want crisp treble as well. (I like my EQ to smile at me!) Wouldn't you know it - two weeks after getting the Z337, my 12-year-old JBL Duet computer speakers in my home office went caput. So once again, I found myself researching computer speakers. I wasn't going to get another Z337 because I wasn't wowed by them. So I ended up spending the same amount and took a chance on another Logitech product. I gotta say, this Z407 arrived today via FedEx and WOW, they are SO much better than the Z337. Good bass. Nice and clear trebles. Not only is my EQ smiling, but so am I. And the wireless volume "hockey puck" is a nice added bonus. I am so much happier with this Z407 over the Z337, I may swap my systems because I suspect I'll use my new office space three or four times more than my home office space. So do yourself a favor and get the Z407.
