The sound isnt bad at all. I purchased this item when i got an all-in-one Dell Computer. I was hoping to get a clear sound by connecting it to the S/PDIF jack of my new Dell. So I asked a sales rep who just happened to be a store manager. He said it was compatible.... not the case. If by compatible he meant one plug from the speakers to the headset jack, then yes. But the speakers come with 3 plugs. I came back to ask for a device that i could connect to get the full effect of the 5.1... and once again, they tried to sell me the wrong usb adapter. When they got it right, it was another $90 which I didnt spend. It is now attached to my living room plasma but i never use it. The picture to the right is what you have to work with. It comes with the orange, black and green connectors. Its made for a computer with an older sound card and not for a modern computer with S/PDIF or HDMI connectors.

I'm using them with my ASUS/Realtek motherboard. I have my system speaker volume at 25% and the dial on my Logitech speaker set straight up. It's great and the surround sounds works very well. These are great for the price.

Great for a pc in a relatively small room. It could use more bass - have it maxed out but haven't optimized my software options yet. A bit prone to interference - had to move my USB network adapter about 6 inches further.

System puts out great sound and has a pretty decent volume level. Only bad part is all of the plastic you have to remove from shipping to be able to set up product, but don't have to worry about damage from shipping lol.

The Logitech sound system i purchased works very well. Sound is crisp and clean. The speakers themselves are adequate in size to fit in my computer room space without taking up a lot of space. definitely recommend this speaker system.

They are described in some places as computer speakers but I use them for my TV and the sound is great!. Cheaper alternative to sound bars and more expensive speakers if you don't wanna spend so much money.

These speakers are awesome! I didn't expect true 5.1 discreet audio from these when I hooked these up to my PC but was surprised to learn that they were! Definitely worth the purchase.

its a sweet system. i have a small room so it was easy to put the speakers in all the corners of my room and the sound quality got a lot better, but there was not enough bass for me so I got a 120 wat subwoofer to it and it is fine now.

Good speakers for listening to music. Editing software or codes, videos. I've dropped one speaker 2 times. From my cat knocking them over. And they still work great. Didnt even crack

Installed this system in my sons room to add great sound to his PlayStation and Xbox . Puts out great bass for a small inexpensive speaker system

Great sound in a pinch I didn’t want to buy a sound system to show a movie. I placed the speakers in front in a little behind the projector screen and was quite surprised at the quality of sound.

I love this sound for my home desktop setup! I know it’s old school, but I love it! I do not recommend it for anyone else but desktop owners. This was a steal on clearance!

These speakers are great for a desktop computer situation.

I use the speaker on my bedroom with a Bluetooth adapter with my laptop phone, tablet and echo for everything from movies to music to games and even white noise. while not perfect they do a very good job.

These speakers sound better than expected for the low price. These aren't my first Logitech speakers. I buy them because I know the sound quality will be worth the price.
