The speakers sound great, the bass is great. And at $60 you can't beat it especially since other shops want $100 for the same speakers. There's only 2 cons: 1. The controls are on the right front speaker, it'd be better if it was on the center or separate remote. 2. They did not put much shielding in them. The speakers will pick up interference around them as stated by other reviewers. To fix this it's best to try and find what is giving off the interference. For me it was my router which I moved to the other side of the room and now I don't get a single chirp.

These speakers are awesome. I just hooked them up to my new Sony record player both from Best Buy....the bass can shake glass on the windows, beautiful crisp clear sound...could not be happier....rockin to my classic rock vinyls from the 70's

    All Around sound system

Had been doing research for a good sound system for cheap....had an older Logitech 2.1 sound system, for my pc, that I ended up using for everything. Was checking into home theatre systems and sound bars; they were all way over priced. Wandered into the pc speakers and saw this set, they sounded good in the store and sound even better at home. They are perfect for all around use...they would bring your pc to life, hell I even have them hooked up to my flat screen in a smaller room and they sound as good as my expensive home theatre. It is really easy to set up. Has the A/V inputs and the 3.5 jacks in the back. The only way to get the 5.1 out of it is the three 3.5 jacks made for a computer sound card. When hooked up to the red and white A/V you get a simulated surround sound that works very well. I am a tech guy and am very impressed with this little setup. It's well worth the money and can be used for all minds of devices. If you looking around you might give this set a chance.

Amazing Speakers For Anyone Looking for 5.1

I absolutely love these speakers. After reading some of the other reviews I was really hesitant, after reading the negative reviews I decided to get them anyone since anything I've ever gotten from Logitech has always amazed me. I can easily say the people that gave this product poor reviews did not read the instructions or hook them up correctly. I've been getting amazingly clear and immersing surround sound from all my movies, my gaming has given me goose bumps and I've caught myself looking from side to side behind me forgetting about the rear speakers, and the sub woofer kicks out more than enough bass for my setup. My music has sounded so much more exciting and powerful. Hooking them up to my PC or my TV has never been easier. I feel the only downfall this set up has is the speaker wires for the rears are a tad bit shorter than I'd like but I easily found some extensions for them and its made life much easier. Otherwise its a great set for anyone looking for amazing speakers at an affordable price. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Had it two weeks and all the speakers went out. Not only that but it was not loud at all. My fan would over power it all the time. Worst thing is I couldn't return it for a better one because of Best Buy's stupid 15 day policy.

After seeing the price and the reviews, I was a bit skeptical at first; especially considering how much most people actually know about speakers and sound quality (think, Beats headphones... yuck). I install speakers and sound systems in bars and restaurants as part of my job, and I have a pretty decent 7.1 channel system for my home theater. Sound quality is pretty important to me. Anyhow... I decided to buy these on impulse after stumbling across them online. Hooking them up was simple, it took more time to unbox them than it did to actually plug everything in. After playing a variety of music, from Lindsey Stirling, Metallica, Tech N9ne, and some Lamb of God, I only have this to say: PROS: The low frequencies are delivered excellently considering this subwoofer has what appears to be a 4" driver. The box is very well engineered, and the porting/tuning really brings out the bass. I've only run into a few bass frequencies that seem to "drone" or resonate incorrectly, but I don't listen to much hip hop or house music so it shouldn't be a problem. The high frequencies are crisp and clear, with almost no distortion even at high volumes. Trebles can be a bit overpowering at times at high volume, but it's nothing a little bit of sound tweaking can't fix. Mid-range leaves a little to be desired, but it's able to play most music excellently. I may have to mess around with my EQ a little bit, but for $70 speakers, I really can't complain about having to do some tuning. CONS: The only downside I've noticed so far to these speakers is that they all have allen screws holding them together, that would be a perfect mounting point for grilles - however, Logitech didn't include any. Maybe they sell them separately, but I haven't looked yet. Overall I am very pleased with these, and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an inexpensive but great sounding set of computer speakers. I upgraded from a 10 year old Harmon Kardon 2.1 system and will definitely not be going back.

    First week impressions

After ten years with my Altec Lansing speakers, they finally dropped their amp so I decided to shop around. I was a bit hesitant to purchase this package but the reviews seemed pretty decent and the price was great. I shopped on-line but elected store pick-up on the same day which was great since I was able to replace the bad set the day it broke. The speaker set came well packed and was factory perfect from the box. The front right speaker has the power button, volume control and head-phone jack port. Its cable is a bit thick and out-muscles the light weight of the speaker but it can be managed. Be nicer if that speaker was weighted down. Differences from what I had was the Right speaker has the headphone jack but the amp does not have an individual power switch. The center channel appeared large in the photo but it does fit below the computer screen however I elected to locate it behind the screen as it is a bit over powering. The sound with the standard Windows configuration is fair but once each speaker was balanced using my on board audio software that came with the sound card on the PC, the quality was WAY BETTER and is 90% or more what I had before with the high end 4.1 Altec Lansing system. Plenty of volume for a PC set of speakers. After three days of using this product, I would definitely recommend it.

    Excellent speakers with correct driver

These speakers sound excellent when paired with a Realtek HD-compatible 5.1/7.1 motherboard. I'm running these speakers off of an ASUS P67P8 EVO board and they sound fantastic. For the price, these deliver deep bass and excellent surround sound. Well worth the money, as comparable speakers will cost 2 to 3 times the price. The only con is they don't look as polished as say a Klipsch or Bose, but they aren't too bad.

A full featured 5.1 surround speaker system. 100+ wats of power makes the bass sound wonderful on all MP3's and movies. Easy to connect to your PC. Make sure you have the proper sound card to process 5.1 surround sound. Overall, a great value for the money.

NO INSTRUCTIONS! I would pay an extra $5.00 easy if they just put a one or two page color instructions, figured it anyways, but was a pain, had to use readers from my neighbor and a magnifying glass. LOVE THE SOUND and the bass!!! But only 2 speakers out of 5 work, its something with Windows, but I spent 3 hours with Dell and another tech, Im done. This should be simple. I did exactly everything i should and even had a tech take over my computer and I had it all correct. Plenty of wires which give you good room to spread out. But Logitech support sucks. I will have a Bose or other before they even get back to me. Too bad, I really liked it. Going back tomorrow!
