Customers are saying
Customers express satisfaction with the Z506 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers' sound quality, bass, and ease of use. Many also appreciate the value for the price and the ample volume. However, some customers mention that the cable lengths could be longer, and a lack of wireless functionality is a common point of feedback. A small number of users reported issues with some speakers not functioning correctly.

Awesome Speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought these today. Listened to them in-store and I was thinking, there alright not to bad. But take into consideration that you have all of the store noise "people and all". So I bought them and just hooked them up to my computer and let me tell you. WOW!!! These speakers are amazing. Sound 100 times better in the home from in-store. Don't be fooled. Well worth the money. Full bodied sound and bass. The only complaint and its not really a complaint is that the bass control is on the back of the sub. Aside from that you cant go wrong. Trust me on this. My old speakers were Polk Audio and they were great for the 5+ years I had them. These are a great replacement. -Mike In Cali

Can't beat a system like this for the price!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this setup 3 months ago and for the $99 you spend on it, I will think you'd be hard pressed to find a better setup for the money. The sound is fantastic, the bass is beyond what I was expecting from the sub. I have heard some slight white noise from one of the speakers, but that's gone once you have music playing through it. Other than that, the only thing I don't care for was the cables they give you for the speakers. Having the option of using standard speaker wire would have been nice for speaker placement. Overall, this is an unbeatable system and if you are disappointed with it, you are probably always looking to be upset about something or looking for every little thing that can go wrong. Buy it, set it up and expect to be blown away for the $99 you spent on it!!!

Great speakers for a bedroom
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this set for about a 2 weeks, and use them everyday to listen to music. I really have to say for the price they are more than worth it. The sub really kicks for a small sub and the surround sound is surprisingly nice. It is really great that the sub has its own volume control. I have a little white noise, but it is hardly noticeable. I do wish it had its own remote control, but for the price I am very very impressed by the quality of this Logitech product.

Great Sound Not For The Price, Great Sound Overall
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The dynamics is great as it should be for any 5.1 system. It sounds like it should for any 5.1 sound system. Not taking in account of the price, which is even better of course. The price is great obviously, and the setup is simple and easy. I especially love the box and the only issue I have with it is the port noise. Which can be heard when the subwoofer is being put well into action. That's the only thing that the price has taken affect on. The subwoofer is built well, especially for the price, with obviously a plastic coating but with wood inside as it should be.

Pretty impressive!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked these up on sale for $68. Have to say that I'm very impressed with them. I hooked them up to my 55 in Samsung HDTV and they blew the tv speakers away! Don't get me wrong, this isn't a top of the line surround sound system but for a small room (my man cave is about 10x12) and the price, this provides a pretty solid theater experience. Like I said, big upgrade over the tv speakers. Highly recommended.

GOOD FOR Rich and Clear sound BUT NO Stands
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Id say... AWESOME SOUND IN EVERY WAY! Thinking of ways to position it... It lacks stands, which sucks. Too bad I cant turn it ALL up bc of weak house structure and neighbours. I WANT to run THX Optimizer sound tests but I can't do it with ANY of my players (Bc of glitches, not being able to skip foward during the test, or just plain non-surround sound [BTW, I use a Windows XP pc with these speakers] in the player, dang) I really LIKE these speakers. I'd Reccomend it. FINAL RATING: 4 of 5 STARS (If I could use it to the full capabilities, and if it had at least 2 stands, I would rate it 5 of 5 STARS

Awesome!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this speaker system for my computer. It also works with my MP3 player. The sound is awesome--you can adjust the bass easily on the back of the subwoofer. It was so easy to set up and sounds amazing! And it was on sale, too!! Best thing for the money.

Good sounding speaker set for price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These speakers are really great sounding for the price. They are a piece of cake to set up too. The only thing i don't like is the separate volume knob and power switch. The power switch is a push on/off switch and you have to push it so hard that the light weight speaker slides across the desk if you don't reach behind it and back it up. I would have preferred having the on/off switch built into the volume know to prevent this. Or a heavy weight in the base of the right speaker.

Not a bad setup if you get on sale.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right off the bat, I will say, I give it 4-stars for the price I paid. If I paid full price would give 3. With that being said, looking at the other bad reviews, the complaint of the clicking, humming. This also happened to me. The sub was too close to other components, ie. wi-fi cable modem, my computer tower, etc. Once I moved the sub about a foot away, ALL the clicking/humming went away. Also read about this unit not having enough bass...it is a 5-1/2" sub....it's not a 10"-12" home theater sub... For me, it has GREAT bass for a sub that size. I have to turn the knob on the sub down at times on certain songs. It may be in their computer EQ settings, but there is plenty of bass. Now, the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars for the price, connection limitations. I REALLY wish this had a Digital Optical cable in. Ready the description saying you can easily connect game consoles....using RCA jacks??? I would have to use an AV Multi to RCA jacks for my PS3. What a waste. Not sure what year these were released, but I am using a PS3 120GB slim that I got in '09. I would think anything after '10-'11 would have a digital optical in. All in all, it is not a bad little system for a computer, my fiancee loves it.

not bad at all
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.overall, these speakers work great. the surround sound is excelent and so is the bass, but the only problem ive had after owning them for probably a year is the when the bass gets loud, the panel on the back makes a distracting rattle. this subwoofer, being 25 watts, also doesnt have a very high output at low frequencies, but this can be expected for the price of the system. overall good product

Very Pleased!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After visiting the store and listening to all the available sets (I suppose quite obnoxiously as I was offered assistance several times) I decided upon these because of the sub control. Great sound at an unbeatable price. While purchased as a gift, I'm thinking to "gift" myself for a bedroom TV. Terrific value!

Good speaker set overall
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just got the speakers and just used them with Call of Duty Black ops 3. Overall the sound is amazing! The guns and other weapons sound a lot better than the speaker set I had hooked up before. My only complaint is that the guy who tells you about UAVs, etc is coming out of a low sound speaker. Sounds like I have a helmet on with no speakers in it.

Speaker sounds fantastic
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even if this is my first time having a 5.1 speaker, I have to say it sound really good than I expected. Had to replace my x-240 2.1 was, because of the radio interference & static, so I thought I would get a new set of speakers. And the $60 price range is nice deal to get one for yourself.

Good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its really good, I love Electronic dance music and its great for playing it. But problem is, sometime it makes random static sounds. For example, if my phone is near the AUX cable and i get a text, the speakers play a loud static sound.... its really random. I hate that....

Exceeds Expectation
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech speakers? I was skeptical about a mouse/keyboard maker on speakers. But the sound quality is way much better than what I would expect with $70 (bought it with a nice deal). Very strong base. I can hear people whispering in a (badly recorded) concert CD. Need to make sure I can hear that on my Bose. But I would need to really crank up the volume. Amazing..... Using a Logitech speaker to check out on my Bose? Unthinkable......

Great priced, big bang for your buck
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these speakers blindly reading a number of mixed good and bad reviews. I picked them up in store and hooked them up when I got home to my pc. Great crisp sound quality and after playing with a few equalizer settings the sub has a very nice deep clean bass tone. Way more than I expected for such a low price. I've only had them hooked up for about an hour or so, so I'll write a review back in about a month and report back.
