I have a small place and the speakers are great. I managed to create a mini theatre at my home. The only thing wrong, which I dont know if its my tv or if the cable in the box isnt suitable to connect from my speakers to the tv. Besides that, it sounds great! Dont know how it will sound in other places, tho.

For it's intended use and price point, a solid product. Sounds decent. Pros: -Great sound for the price. -Convenient to set up and use. Cons: -Some of the back cords could really have been longer. Had to buy extenders to reach the back of my (small) room.

It sounds really good for the price. I use it for gaming so i can hear all the bass i couldn't before.

I bought this system to replace a very old Altec Lansing ADA995 system that I purchased with a Dell 8400 computer several years ago. The old system was (and still is) working just fine. i just wanted something new to go with a new Dell XPS 8930. A little disappointed at first. The new system is rated at 150w total. Volume was quite a but lower than the old Altec Lansing system which was rated at 200w. Sound quality was about equal. Read some reviews and found that the best way to setup the Logitech system was to turn the Windows volume to about 50% and then use the speaker volume control to make adjustments. That was the fix I needed. Volume still isn't quite as high as the old system but the sound quality for Youtube and MP3 files was great. The system could use longer cables for the back speakers but other than that I have no complaints.

Purchased this speaker set to go with a basic new tv for my patio. The tv was great looking but could barley hear it so picked up these speakers and wow what a difference. Super simple to set up and small size give huge sound and lots of bass. Very happy with the value.

Sound is awesome hooked up either to the computer or the TV. Volume and sound is excellent

The sound of these speakers are excellent. They have a very nice bass sound with a room for controlling the level of bass. The sound is very clear and easy to hook up. They have color coded the speaker cables to the subwoofer so hooking up is a breeze.

Nice Sounds at a real good price point. I got these Z506s on sale and paired with a good sound card or mid to high level motherboard that has a good integrated sound solution makes for some great performance. Weather it be for Gaming, Movies or of course Music. I would still suggest getting the extended warranty just in case.

This was supposed to have been for my PC to take advantage of my sound card. It was awesome on the PC clear surround sound for gaming. We are also movie addicts and had RCA cable for hookup to our TV. That was also a very simple connection to the back of the TV. After changing a sound setting on the TV for the surround sound it now makes a reasonable priced home theater sound. Action movies you hear everything. Nature you can hear water rushing over rocks the birds song stands out. Amazing that you can hear things that TV speakers can't even begin to separate out for a full movie experience. For settings of the speakers we have it to the 10 o'clock position which seems perfect for our livingroom. Main volume control is still controlled through the TV. Very happy using it for theater sound, I'll just have to get another for my gaming machine.

Still using this for my computer, has great surround sound and loud bass.

I upgraded from a Logitech 2.1 unit I had for 5 yrs, this seemed like a cost-effective upgrade. So far I like it. Subwoofer level knob is on the back of the sub; wish it was on the right speaker/pod. No big deal really. Got great big sound. You want bigger? Go with Klipsch = $$$$$.

Great little system! Bass is adequate with nice balance between highs, lows and midrange, especially for a "mini" system. I use it for balancing my equalizer settings when I make CDs for my car and it performs just great, allowing me to know just where I need boosting, muting and matching volumes from different sources. Much better sound than other systems I looked at in it's size and price range. The simple, elegant black motif is easy for me to blend in with the other electronics I have in the same area, too. All in all, a very nice purchase at a bargain price- strongly recommended for simple computer use!

This was an easy install and it made my iMac music sound awesome with deep rich bass!
