I purchased these as a replacement for a similar set issued to me by employer. They stopped functioning after 8 weeks. All I can see is a slight tear in the casing around the wire right where the USB-C port. I found a similar tear in the headset issued from my employer. I’m guessing the casing/wire cannot sustain pressure on that spot, although I never thought the wire was too taut, in distress, or otherwise overused.

This was a great headset for me working from home. But they didn't even last a day. I tried connecting via USB and USB-C and both would not work after the headset stopped working. I know both ports work fine as I plugged something else in and it works great.

    Very Versatile Headset

The Logitech Zone 750 is a great addition to my setup. I needed a versatile headset that would serve me well while I work, listen to music, and game. This setup definitely gets it done. I’ll start with the boring work stuff. This headset works very well in a video conferencing situation. It works seamlessly with all of the major video conferencing apps. The mic does a great job of filtering out background noise, and the people on the other end of my calls say that the mic clarity is really nice. One person actually said that this headset sounds better on their end than anything else I’ve used. The fact that I can answer and hang up on calls from the built-in cable controller is great. Also, being able to adjust the volume and mute/unmute from the cable controller is quite handy during a call where I am coming on and off of mute regularly. I absolutely love that when I swing the mic up it automatically mutes. When I’m on a call where I need to mostly just listen, I swing the mic up and I don’t have to worry about accidentally unmuting myself and having people hear me say something when I’m complaining about the meeting. :=) Now on to music. I was really shocked at how good this headset sounds. I really thought it was more of an office product, but the quality is pretty amazing. It’s not going to blow away my $300 music headphones, but for general listening, it’s fantastic. It has a surprising amount of base, and the mids and highs are really clean and clear. I love it. If you load up the LogiTunes software, you can have a few EQ options to play with. Nothing spectacular, but I do like the bass boost EQ setting. It gives it a little more pop without distorting. Gaming is awesome with this headset. I can clearly hear directional sound. Nobody sneaks up on me when I wearing these things. My son said he likes them because he no longer hears the fan noise from my gaming setup when we play from different rooms in the house (a testament to the noise cancelling mic). Using the LogiTunes software, I was able to set how much I wanted to hear my own voice come through. Having an active mic that lets me hear my own voice cleanly is a must have for me. I hate not hearing my own voice when I’m talking in game. This headset lets my voice through, clean and clear, with zero discernable lag. In general, this a great design. It is definitely plug and play, and the supporting app is easy to find, download, and install. It doesn’t fold flat or anything, but it has a small enough profile that it’s really not necessary. Folding joints are just one more thing to break. It comes with a soft bag case to keep them clean and the cord out of the way when not in use. I like that it is USB-C, but still comes with an adaptor for use with older systems or when you already have a C device in use. This headset is super comfortable. It’s lightweight and the padding is incredibly soft on my ears. As with all over ear headsets, it gets a bit warm, but since they sit on top of your ears rather than being giant cups that fully encase your ears, they aren’t nearly as bad as a lot of headsets. Overall, I think this is a fantastic headset. It does everything I need it to do for a great price. I can work, play, and relax all with a single headset. You can get sets that are engineered for specific tasks that will outperform this unit in a single application, but as a general use multi-tasking headset, I don’t think you’ll do much better. I would definitely recommend this for general home office, gaming, and music use.

    Good Conferencing Headset

Logitech makes taking calls in the office or home office extremely easy with the Zone 750 headset. They even included how-to videos on setting up the headset with various conferencing apps in the Logi Tune app under the “?”. Overall these headphones are a good solution for anyone who uses a laptop for communications. Fit and Feel: The Zone 750 headset is easily adjusted and reasonably comfortable to wear. The ear pads are made with soft foam covered with a very soft leatherette cover. The soft foam allows the headset to gently sit on your ears vs cupping your ears like some headsets do. Even though they do not fully surround your ears they still do a good job of isolating the ambient noise in the room. I have found that in time the soft foam pads can become warm from body heat and for me that can be distracting. On calls lasting longer than an hour I find myself lifting the earpads off my ears to let them cool off. Sound and Mic Quality: The sound quality of these headphones are tuned for conference calls. The voices sound clear and distinct. The Logi Tune app includes an equalizer to help you tune the audio quality to your listening preferences. While not as good as more expensive headphones for listening to music they are fine for the office. The noise cancelling microphone works well and helps eliminate stray sounds which is important for anyone working from home with kids or dogs. I also found that the microphone worked well with dictation programs which is a plus for anyone who uses that feature. The in-line control module is convenient to use and allows you to adjust the volume, mute, answer calls and control music playback. Pros: - Solid build quality and tangle free wiring - In-line controls are very intuitive and easy to operate - Easily adjusted for a comfortable fit - Logi Tune app adds features and is helpful setting up headset for video conferencing apps - USB-A and USB-C compatible - Noise Cancelling microphone helps eliminate room noise Cons: - The ear pads can get warm from body heat after extended use - When not in use the headphones don’t fold flat.

More Professional Than Your Gaming Headset

PROS: - Excellent mic - Lightweight - In-line controls - Flip mic up to mute - Included USB-A to USB-C adaptor - Included headphone pouch CONS: - Audio quality for music isn't great - Headset doesn't fold in for storage -- SETUP -- You can just plug the Zone 750 headset into your laptop/desktop and use it right away, but Logitech recommends installing their "LogiTune" software. The Zone 750 does use a USB-C connection, but if your laptop/desktop doesn't have a USB-C port Logitech does include a USB-C to USB-A adaptor (there's even a little pocket for the adaptor inside the included headphone pouch). -- LogiTune -- With Logitech's LogiTune software, you can customize the Zone 750 to your liking. You can increase or disable sidetone (if you want to be able to hear your own voice), adjust the mic sensitivity, and access the EQ. You can use the headset without ever downloading LogiTune, but I would suggest at least giving it a try. -- Mic Quality -- I really like the mic on the Zone 750. You can adjust the mic sensitivity in LogiTune as well. Logitech did a fantastic job ensuring that the mic doesn't pick up background noises (such as fans or AC vents above you) and doesn't really pick up breathing (unless you have a cold). To mute your mic you have two options: you can flip the mic up OR you can just press the "mute" button on the in-line controls. -- Audio/Music Quality -- When working from home, it's nice to just use one headset throughout the day. While not in a meeting or on a call, I like to listen to music while working. While I have used headphones with worse audio quality, the Zone 750 are FAR from my favorite. I did notice that music with vocals were "okay", but I would still prefer to more music-focused headphones for enjoying music. -- BOTTOM LINE -- If you value looking more professional for video calls and need an excellent mic to isolate your voice from background noise over listening to music, the Zone 750 is worth checking out.

Hello Samsung, Very sorry to hear about the microphone issues you're experiencing with the Zone 750 Headset. If you're having trouble with the microphone on your headset, try the following:

      - Make sure your headset is selected as the audio input device for your computer (see your computer's documentation for help).
      - Ensure that your headset is selected as the input device in your chat application settings.
      - Adjust the microphone volume on your computer or chat application.
      - Verify that the microphone isn't set to Mute in either your operating system's audio settings or chat application.
NOTE: Some headsets include a mute button. Be sure your headset isn't set to Mute.
      - Try connecting your headset to a different USB port on your computer.
      - Connect your headset directly to a USB port on your computer, and not to a USB hub or extension.
If none of these help to fix the problem, then go to support.logi.com for live technical chat support. Hope this finds you well and that things are going better. Thank you for choosing Logitech. - Richard from Logitech

    Great for noisy office environments

I work in a noisy environment where many people have daily calls with our partners overseas. With all of the discussions it can be extremely hard not to get some bleed over and missed dialog. That's why I was excited to try Logitech's Zone 750 noise cancelling on the ear headset. The fit is firm enough to stay in place during lengthy calls but not so tight that they are uncomfortable. The padded earcups provide a decent amount of comfort and do provide a good bit of noise isolation. I do love that the boom will mute the mic when in the raised position (parallel with the band and not in front of the mouth) making it a very intuitive motion to mute a call. While there is a mute button on the inline control I find the sweep up mute more to my liking. The audio from the headset is crystal clear and the noise cancelling works wonders on ambient noise. I've got some hearing loss so the clarity is very welcome to my ears. The people I talk with report that there is little or no background noise coming through on their end and it is crystal clear as well. I like the included soft carrying bag, making it easy to toss into my backpack when I have to commute to the office. I also like that the native connection is USB-C but also comes with a USB-C to USB-A adapter (which stows neatly in a little pouch in the carrying bag. While the price is a bit steeper than a lot of other headsets you still get a lot of value with noise cancelling features, comfort and included carrying bag.

While I am not typically a fan of headsets that go directly on your ears, instead of over them, these are remarkably comfortable. I also love that the microphone is easily reversible, allowing me to switch it from right to left. This is important to me as I have sensitive ears, and an unbalanced headset to either side gets very uncomfortable over time, especially if I can't switch. I also love that there is an in-line volume control, which I think is a must for any wired headset. The inclusion of a USB-C adapter is also awesome, so I can use it with more devices, including my Google Pixel.
