Almost perfect.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Almost perfect. Switching primary audio from one device to another can be a pain. Windows doesn't want to let my phone play audio unless I leave the sound control panel open on my Windows machine. When I leave the sound control panel open it works great.

Gets the job done
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very solid wireless headset. I am financial representative in a phone role so I spend my entire day on the phone, speaking with many companies of varying backgrounds. I have never had a complaint about being difficult to understand or hear, nor have I ever had an issue with hearing the individual I am speaking with. I also happen to live in an apartment building in busier part of the city so there is constant news in the background during the work day. I have had the opportunity to listen back to calls where I know there was significant noise right outside my window (lawn mower, weed eater, emergency sirens) and I have not notice any level of significant background noise. This thing just does exactly what I needed. Would definitely recommend if you spend a large amount of your day on calls or in meetings.

Great Home/Office Headset. Streaming Level Mic
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Zone 900 is a wireless bluetooth headset with a noise cancelling boom mic. It has pretty standard bluetooth headset looks, in a graphite gray color. The boom mic folds away so you can use it as regular bluetooth headphones when not actively on a call. For me, this was interesting because I typically use a noise cancelling bluetooth headset for work calls in my home office as well as to isolate myself from the sounds of other things going on around the house. In that case, it's the the headphones which are cancelling noise that I would hear rather than the microphone cancelling noise that the people I'd be talking to would hear. It's a subtle difference having both technologies combined in the same headset. Controls on the headset are pretty straightforward, volume, play/pause + call answer/disconnect, mute/unmute, power, and noise cancellation. What's cool is that you can also mute the mic by flipping it up out of the way. In some ways, I like this better as it provides a tactile and visual indicator of the status of my microphone. Logitech even has an app to let you customize sound profiles on the headset, again par for the course. What's nice is that the app is easy to use. Usually, I ignore bluetooth headset apps but the Zone 900 has a sidetone mode where it essentially allows you to hear your own voice. This is feedback one finds in professional microphones or ones geared towards streaming. It's a feature I like as it gives me some indicator of what my voice will sound like on the other end. And it ironically, helps with a minor downside with using noise cancelling headphones on calls. Since most of the ambient noise is muted, I sometimes don't notice if there's something going on that those to whom I'm talking will pick up from the microphone. Noise cancellation for the audio you hear is ok. I've yet to experience noise cancellation that did not benefit from physical isolation of the ear canal, either via earbuds or headsets with ear cups. These don't have ear cups so just sit against your ear but without a seal around it. So while it seems to provide clear audio, I do notice that I hear a bit more of ambient noise than normal. On the other side of my call, people reported that I sounded clearer and more professional. Similar to the response I got while using a (non-noise cancelling) streaming designed directional standalone microphone. Wearing these was pretty comfortable. They're lighter than my normal set which makes it more comfortable to keep on for a full day of work. With my ear cup set, I typically go about 4 hours before taking them off for a break. Wearing these for a 9 hour day also shows that it has at least that much battery life. Given that it stays in my office, the 14 hour rated life is decent but it means I must remember to plug it in at least every other day. Normally, this would be a downside coming from my headset which has about 20 hour battery life. However, the Zone 900 has another trick - Qi wireless charging. And since it's Qi, it works with my existing charging base so I just set it down when I'm done with work and can start the day with a fully charged battery. I think if I also used this for workouts, I'd want the longer battery life to deal with the possibility that I may forget to charge it or have convenient access to a charger but for home office work, the combination of 14 hours + wireless charging is perfect. This being a Logitech device, it comes with a unifying receiver. However, I just used the bluetooth. The unifying receiver worked, but I didn't have any issues having it connected to my laptop along with a bluetooth mouse and serial adapter. Range was pretty nice. For example, I may periodically leave my office on the second floor to go move laundry around or grab food in the kitchen downstairs. I'd typically wear my headset, remaining in contact with my laptop listening to music or being able to stay on a call or accept a call. This has good connection between two floors and several rooms of walls so nothing to complain about on that front. I think aside from the reduce noise cancelling effect, the only gripe I have, and this is pretty minor, is that it's not really water resistant. This means it can't really pull double duty both at home and at the gym for workouts. While to be fair, there are other issues were I using it for more active things, some tweaks would make this a great all around headset.

The best work headset
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been the best work headset. I have purchased several cheaper headsets but was hesitant to spend the money. Man was I wrong not to invest in quality. The dongle gives it a seamless connection that doesn’t drop. Works on a phone client, slack, teams, and listening to music.

Awesome Wireless Headset
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had originally purchased another wireless logitech headset along the $100 price range which I had to return right away and after looking into the reviews on this Logitech Zone 900 I decided well let me try it out and see if it meets my expectations. Well I must say that I love it. I work from home so I'm able to move around and not lose connection and that is just being connected via usb so thats amazing sound quality is good no static clear and I have to honestly say once I put this headset on I can't hear anything that is going on outside of my room. Which is exactly what I needed. Pricey but worth it.
