The pandemic shifted my workspace in many ways, but mostly in the way I meet and communicate on a daily basis. It’s all about teleconferencing and videoconferencing, and that requires a good audio setup on my devices (PC, tablet, mobile). The Logitech Zone 900 serves its purpose very well, filling the space that can only be satisfied with quality audio on both ends. The headset comes in a modest looking, but very sturdy box – I’m one of those guys that feels packaging tells me a lot about how the manufacturer feels about the quality of their product. The box includes everything to get you up and running in any environment, even a non-Bluetooth setup. This is one of the things that I like about Logitech. They go that extra step to ensure their products function in any environment. Handling the headset, it feels light, but very well made (a very balanced combination of plastic and metal). It’s an on-ear design with very soft ear pads and distinct button controls. The headset folds into a small footprint and there is even a carrying bag – nice touch. After powering the Zone 900 on, it took no time to get it connected to my laptop, then my tablet. It gives you verbal audio cues for each operation – pairing, connected, microphone muting, etc. I really like that feature because you are always aware of the state of the headset. How does it sound? Actually very good. I was a bit skeptical with the on-ear pad design, but I came away pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. Also, I was told my voice was very distinct, crisp, and clear on the other end of meetings. The controls are spot on and easy to reach and tap/press. When the mic boom is raised, it immediately mutes the mic – no button searching or fumbling around, just simple. The Zone 900 has very good range as well. I had no issues walking around while in conference, or venturing to another room for a quick task or pickup. The battery life seems to be in line with the 14 hour estimate given by Logitech. The Zone 900 is a quality headset for anyone who does voice related conferencing. It has very good sound, more than adequate signal range, active noise cancellation, fantastic battery life, and sports a quality build. There is even an app providing more customization (sound and status monitoring). I highly recommend it!

Even before COVID, I was already doing lots of things remotely and have depended on either headphones or speakerphones. Because I can’t stand most headsets for long due to sensitive ears, I prefer speakerphones for business calls and my best experience has been with Logitech. So, I was curious to find out if I would have a good experience with this headset. I’m happy to report that it is comfortable and not heavy. I can wear them for hours without ear fatigue and while listening to music is not perfect, this Zone 900 is excellent for video/audio conferences. Bluetooth or wireless dongle. You can go either way, which is great and leave you untethered from your computer during those moments you have to walk away from your desk. The range is very good provided you don’t go too far. In my personal experience, if you use it with a phone or tablet, you can expect solid stability, which is not that common with many Bluetooth headsets. At least with an iPad Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, it performed very well. To make it even more enjoyable, the noise canceling function works very well for what it’s designed for. Again, if I were listening to music on it, I would go with another brand but even for that, it performs fairly well. I wish every manufacture used USB-C as Logitech did here. That’s great for charging and should be the standard for modern devices using USB. Even better is the Qi charging capability. Logitech doesn’t include the charger in this case but I tried two Qi chargers, including the one for my iPhone, and it worked flawlessly. Nice! Battery seems to last a loooong time. Other than for testing USB-C and Qi, I haven’t had to charge it in over a week. Another thing I liked was the dual muting function. I’m always wondering if I’m really muted during conference calls. No wondering here. People could hear me well when it wasn’t muted and it was total silence for them when the mic was folded back or I pressed the mute button. This is a very solid, professional grade headset. Much better than most you’d get for WFH. When not using a speakerphone, this is the one I’ll be using going forward.

I have been using the Logitech Zone 900 headset for the past several days and I am amazed. The Zone 900's are super comfortable on-ear headphones. Build quality is solid with a metal frame, good padding and some nice design features, like the ear cups can fold in words and the entire Zoom 900 can balance on one ear cup. This may seem odd, but it supports Qi/Wireless Charging which is AWESOME. NOTE: a wireless charger is NOT included, but the Zone 900s charged perfectly with my Belkin charger. What is included is a USB C to USB A extender cable, a USB A to C charging cable, a Logitech Unifying dongle, and a carry bag (thanks Logitech for including a bag!). A little side note on the dongle, it's a little bigger than a typical Nano dongle but I think it's so you get a better connectivity range. You can use the dongle to connect your other Logitech devices (my Logitech MX3 works) or you can simply pair using Bluetooth. On Bluetooth connectivity, it worked with my iPhone with no issues and I prefer it for calls because the boom mic mutes on an upswing. One unusual thing is that there is a mute button on the boom mic. The boom mic does mute when you move it into the upright position, so not sure why Logitech has the button. Usage time, the Zoom 900 is rated by Logitech for 14 hours with ANC on. I do a lot of calls and while I don't work 14 hour days, I was able to easily get a full day of heavy use without charging. Finally, Logitech also makes an app called Logi Tune, which gives you the ability to customize buttons, adjust ANC strength, etc. and also for firmware updates (none at time of my review). The Tune app is useful but not mandatory - the Zone 900 worked without drivers, ANC works, etc. on a plug and play basis with Zoom, Teams, Meets, etc. Super happy and recommended.

The Logitech - Zone 900 Wireless Bluetooth Noise Canceling Over-Ear Headset are simply a must have for anyone that has to be on conference calls. This headset is spectacular! The ear pads are comfortable and the adjustable microphone make this headset a real compliment to your daily office routine. Best of all, it can be used on any device that supports bluetooth, so you can switch to your phone if you are on the go or a laptop when in the office/home office. The sound is always crystal clear and your meeting participants will hear you loud and clear. There is no feedback, no hissing noise, and best of all no distraction from outside noise in your home or surrounding area. The microphone also reduces these noises so your voice is always clear. Even when I have kids playing in the background, people on the call tell me they don't hear it or, at worst, it's muffled and not distracting. Simply awesome! From time to time sirens may go by while I'm on a call. It use to be a considerable disruption. So much so that I would either have to mute temporarily or repeat myself if I were speaking at the time the siren was audible. Now, it's no longer a concern. The battery life is great. I can use the headset all day on a single charge. I generally spend 4-5 hrs in meetings/conference calls each day so it's nice to have a reliable headset. I highly recommend the Logitech - Zone 900 Wireless Bluetooth Noise Canceling Over-Ear Headset.

These headphones functioned pretty well. However, I found the on ear design to be uncomfortable and returned them for an over the ear design instead..

Noise reduction not good quality, horribly uncomfortable to wear, could not get them returned quick enough

I've been using these pretty much every day for the past two weeks, and I'm really happy with them. I just realized I only charged them once, and it hadn't run out of battery yet. They're comfortable, but not like lounge-chair comfy. You can wear them all day and they aren't irritating, but they definitely have weight to them and the pads push on your ears to remind you they're there. They do a good job of blocking some noise just naturally because they cover your ears and they're kind of thick, but when they're powered on, the noise cancelling works great. I can be on conference calls and they can't hear the background noise or moderate music. My co-workers say I sound really good, natural, and clear. The controls are super simple. The power button and noise correction button are far apart and really easy to find. You can fold up the mic to automatically mute, and there's also a mute button on the mic boom. They're reversible so you can wear the mic on the right or left side. The side with the mic also has a great big volume control -- the side of the earpiece rocks up or down. Overall, these are great quality and easy to use. Highly recommended.
