The Best Headset... that I cannot fully recommend.

This headset has great sound quality, similar to a standard set for music connoisseurs (although not quite on that level), and I was especially impressed with the noise canceling ability. The first time I placed them on my head, I couldn't hear ANY of the ambient noise around me, except for my own heartbeat in the silence. Bluetooth connectivity was very simple, quick, and intuitive, and the microphone seemed to be clear, from what I was told by MOST people I spoke with using these.
The only issue I have with these headphones is that there does not appear to be an audio notification when the battery is low, and this caused quite a bit of confusion during a conversation I was having with these connected over bluetooth. The person I was speaking to began to periodically say they could not hear me, although I could hear them fine. Since I could hear them, we both assumed that it was their device malfunctioning, but once my voice apparently could not be heard for an extended time, I ended up having to disconnect the headset from my phone and speak though my phone directly. Later I saw that the low battery indicator light was on, and so I charged it up. They worked fine once they were fully charged. My biggest issue here is that this could cause some major inconveniences if using this for work or other important communications (having the microphone drop out with no audible battery notice). Other devices I own will state "low battery," "recharge," or something similar when using headphones with those devices, and wireless headphones I own with a weak battery will at least do a stutter tone, disruption in the sound produced, or some sort of audible signal that the battery is low, and I think this is critical if using these for work or other important communications. It should also be noted that the low battery indicator light was not showing when the microphone first began to have issues, further contributing to my confusion about what the issue actually was.
While I love the sound quality and features of the device (there is a mute button on the microphone, it has both a Type C and Type A USB dongle to use aside from connecting through bluetooth, and it comes with a tote bag that fits the headset nicely and makes it more portable when not in use), I have to take a star off due to the lack of an audio notification about a weak battery, as I was lucky that it gave out during a social call as opposed to a work-related one. I have no way to know if I just happen to have a bad set related to an audio indication for low battery not being present.
Bottom line, great sound quality, microphone (on a full battery), and overall accessories and features, with exceptional noise canceling, but cannot recommend for those that may need a head set for multiple daily phone or video meetings, as it would be too easy to overlook the low battery notification (which leads to microphone issues).
Would be great choice for a casual headset for personal/social communications, or only occasional work-related meetings of minimal importance where you can insure that you are going in fully charged, but in that case, you can find cheaper headsets for casual purposes. As many positives as there are with this set, I still cannot recommend these in general, as i think most will consider these for work, and the low battery/microphone issue is too critical to ignore for that purpose.

Initial unboxing of these anc headphones, you will find a charging cable, usb-c and a usb-a adapter dongle to use on your laptop or desktop computer, a nice carrying bag and the headphones themselves. My first thought was how premium these headphones felt in my hands. It was lightweight yet not flimsy. I'm sure that these headphones will last a long time if taken care of.
I work from home a lot so I knew the majority of my use with these headphones would be conversations on my cell phone. So I hooked them up via bluetooth to my phone and then downloaded the Logi app. With the app, you have so many options to change settings that I can't go over them all. But definitely download the app because that is how the headphones will get updates from Logitech.
The headphones can be worn from either side which I thought was really cool. It is a little snug on my medium size head, but I think that helps with the noise cancellation. It was still comfortable for hours though. Physical buttons is on the mic side which I'm a big fan of, and a touch control of volume and other features, which I am not a fan of. I got use to it, but I personally prefer physical buttons. The mic if flip to mute but also has a physical mute button on it as well.
The things that I'm really impressed with these headphones is the noise cancellation is very good. I was able to have clear conversations with customers and even though being at home, I was concerned that they would be able to hear things in the background, like the neighbors lawnmower and such, but no, it worked great. There is also a transparency mode which works great. Having the wife come in and ask a question, I just switch to transparency mode and can hear her clearly. The headphones also has multi-point bluetooth which lets me connect to multiple devices which is very convenient. The distance from device is also incredible. I have been able to move around most of my home without losing connection, even through walls. This really is a great anc headphones and highly recommend it.

I've been looking for a headset for my noisy co-working space. The issue I was having with my previous headsets is that the people I was on meetings with would complain that they could hear the conversation the people around me were having.
This issue is completely eliminated with this headset, its quite amazing. I asked the people after my calls if they had heard the other people around me, their response: I thought they must not have been there today...
The advanced call quality is helpful to block out background noise of the people you are talking to. For example recently I was talking to my colleague who was taking the train home. Usually we could not talk because the background noise from their end was so intense. Now, I can still head a bit of background noise, but it is not distracting.
I've been telling everyone about this headset, it is a game changer for me as I was considering needing to rent a private office, which now I don't feel like I need to.
I get two full days of battery life, but I am constantly on calls or listening to music with ANC on.

This product has helped me a ton in my day-to-day job. I am an Executive Assistant and I am constantly having to multitask. Taking notes while on the phone is easier. We also use a program that is an internal messaging system but we also use it for video conferencing. This headset helps block out all the excess noise coming from outside of my office and people have commented that they can hear me a lot better than they could when I was using just a set of wireless earbuds. I also like that in order to mute my voice, all I have to do is tilt the microphone up and it mutes me. I don't have to worry about searching for a mute button on my call or video call.
I will say the only downside to this headset is that it makes my ears sweat after about 30 minutes of use. It's not terrible, and I'm not sure it can really be improved in any way, but it something that I noticed happening. I also have a hard time wearing earrings while using the headset for about that long as well. Once again, not something I think can really be improved but it is something that I noticed.
All in all, I love this headset. It has helped me greatly in my job.

The Logitech Zone 950 headset is an impressive upgrade from the previous version of Logitech's Zone 900 business headset. From a features standpoint, the Zone 950 retains many of the features that I loved about the previous version, while improving a few key points that I was less happy with.
Out of the box, the Zone 950 comes with the required trimmings for a 2023 product. A USB-C charging cable is included along with a USB-C dongle, and a cool little USB-A adapter that is form-fitted for both the dongle and cable to make them feel more sturdy when using the dongle. I for one welcome the trend to have more accessories go USB-C as now my work and personal laptops have more USB-C/TB4 ports than USB-A and all of the docking stations I use have an empty USB-C port ready to use for stuff like this. Also included is a zip up bag (with a handy little pouch for the dongle).
In use, the first thing that I noticed with the 950 is the absolutely amazing active noise cancelling on this headset. Seriously, this is an "on-ear" headset (with notably comfy pads that sit on your ears) so it doesn't perfectly seal you off from the outside world - it just has amazing electronic trickery to reject the droning conversations and air conditioning sounds you hear at an office. I love it for that. It also seems to have good rejection of outside audio on the microphone, without me needing to adjust the settings in Zoom or Webex where the software noise rejection has caused me to sound like a robot with other headsets I've used. When using the dongle, the flip-to-mute on the microphone automatically mutes your audio in the Zoom and Webex apps which is quite nice so you don't have to click an extra button to tell your coworkers that you're muted.
Fortunately I'm able to use the Logi Tune app with my work computer, and it's a worthwhile app especially if you have a Logi webcam since it can configure multiple Logi accessories. I appreciate being able to customize the ANC button. I left the ANC settings at the default (button can select either ANC "High" or Transparency mode), but you can also have it cycle through ANC "Low" and ANC off with the button.
I'm fortunate that my meetings this week haven't featured any other parties with noisy backgrounds of their own, but a highlighted feature of this headset is the noise rejection capability for the -other- side of your calls. I've used similar tech in the past and found it to be pretty cool. This eliminates the need for other third party apps or GPU drivers that might be hard to approve in a corporate setting, so it's cool to see here.
The only 'negatives' I have for the Zone 950 are mainly nit-picking ones. The Zone 950 doesn't have wireless charging like the Zone 900, which was a feature I used heavily with a previous job/desk setup, but I can no longer use at my current job that uses hoteling so I don't have an assigned desk. Here I'm hoping the longer battery life on the 950 makes it even less of a hassle to charge at work. The Zone 950 also doesn't fold up the same way as the 900, but it's kind of break even on that point as it now can rotate the ear cups to get "flatter" if not actually smaller than the 900. In my bag either configuration works. And finally, this is a purely voice communications oriented headset so music quality is not great. I used to think this was a bigger deal, but now I've found that using wireless earbuds at the office is a better way to signal to my co-workers that I'm just listening to music rather than in a meeting, so I just use my voice comm headset for its purpose and the Zone 950 will have no problem with that.
The Zone 950 is definitely a premium headset from a pricing perspective and the features and quality live up to the price. Logitech should be commended for upgrading the headset in quite a few ways instead of just iterating on the old design. Highly recommended from me.
