Pros: picture quality is fantastic in light and dark conditions; customizable motion detection; light sensors, zoom, tampering alarm; cloud storage, email options, text notifications; it’s hard wired (not wifi) so no worry about batteries; low power draw; no monthly fee; constant recording plus “event” highlights; the price feels reasonable for what you’re getting; very customizable in terms of features, number of cameras, etc.; no noticeable difference in our energy bills; the number of cameras, picture quality, and alert features make this ideal for surveillance if you’re concerned about security; if you wire it with audio, you can also use them as speakers, or set a recorded message to play if a motion sensor goes off. Cons: you will need a professional or a serious tech junkie to set this up; the interface on the mobile app is average (has everything you want, but takes some getting used to); the learning curve for the software and mobile app is steeper than for more simple products like Ring doorbells, so it might not be the best for someone who has a hard time with technology and is only concerned about who’s at the front door. I haven’t had to interact with any tech support or customer service yet, so I can’t speak to that, but the product itself has exceeded my expectations. My father-in-law set these up for us (he does this professionally) because it was too late in the year for the team at Best Buy to do it (they won’t install during the winter I think for safety reasons?), so I also couldn’t speak to their installation team.

This is a good surveillance system for homes, I do not recommend this if you really need extra details even though the video quality is good. It is also really good at nights, my only complaint is that the hard drive it gets full super quick. Also I would like to have Google or Alexa integration. Overall it’s a good product too own

This system is great. I did a self-install, and I did not have any issues. Plugged the cables into the cameras, and the DVR picked them right up. DVR has tons of useful features. Camera resolution is great, and night vision is very useful. User's guide was very helpful too.

Works great. Very good crystal clear quality when viewing. Easy to install can use cat5. We love this system no problems so far.

Installation was difficult but the camera work very well. Would definitely recommend them.

Although laying out the lines in the attic and down the living room wall took a bit of time, once I had it connected, the video quality was very good. I still have to solve the mobile app.

The system is great and all features work. The cameras that's install shows great images. All cameras not installed yet. Waiting on geek squad to complete installation,

Excellent security system, great cameras. The Lorex provided DNS is great, capable of viewing cameras from windows pc.

The cameras have a great picture with nice app to monitor from anywhere.

Excellent value and great system. The 4k resolution is amazing.

I was looking for some cameras for a few months I took my time searching for them. I wanted to get something good. So after a few months I decided to get these ones because they're 4K Supposedly they're clear but they're not I didn't want to spend less money on some cameras because I wanted them to be clear. I wanted to be able to see some license plates but that's not happening you cannot see license plates with these cameras 10 or 15 feet away That's why I bought them that's why I spend the extra money to be able to see license plates but that's not happening I could have got a similar system with the same cameras for a lot less But I'm like no this one's ar better ther not. And if you have a Samsung phone forget about the Lorex cloud app It's not going to work I call Lorex customer service and they connect to my cameras using an Apple tablet and they told me they had a lot of complaints about using Samsung it couldn't do anything about it I am keeping the cameras because I need them Do I like the cameras No When you do zoo min on a camera it's all blurry Do I recommend this cameras No You can spend a lot less and get better quality
