This camera does tracking and is perfect for indoors. I have people watch my kids and this keeps me fully informed. It does motion detection and tells you whether its a pet or person walking in front of it.

W463AQ Series - 2K Dual Lens Indoor Pan-Tilt Security Camera The Pan Tilt Camera keeps turning away from the room and stares at the wall behind it. Since there is no motion on the wall it stays there all day looking at the wall. I am familiar with the App and have tried all the settings and it keeps doing it. I called Lorex Tech Support and spent an hour on the phone with someone from India or Pakistan who was completely useless and just keeps repeating back to me what the issue is and was of no help. In the end their advice is to turn off the motion tracking which is the feature you buy this type of camera for. Ugggh! Apparently Lorex does not have this camera figured out. There needs to be a way to limit the field of view to just the area you want to monitor. If Lorex can assist I would appreciate it otherwise I will have to return the camera.

If using as a stand alone camera, it would be a good buy. I bought this to connect to my existing NVR unit but this camera would never fully connect to where I can access it on my app or monitor that includes my wired cameras. The camera would say that it is connected but it never was. I reset and reboot the camera and my NVR numerous times and same issues.
