A Surprisingly Good Bag

I thought for sure this was going to be a temporary bag. From the images online, it looked fine. Simple. Functional. But once I got my hands on it, suddenly the bag became one of the most essential tools of my day.
The design is simple but incredibly effective. While it won't hold EVERYTHING if you're a full-time nature photographer, it can securely contain a multitude of lenses, filters, batteries, and other tools.
Somehow, it still has room for a laptop, ipad, kindle, chargers, snacks, cables, and anything else you'd like to keep secure.
The zippers feel smooth and secure, the material is well construction, and it's comfortable even with a bit of weight in the bag.
I may keep this for years.

This is an awesome backpack for me, I love it and I use it literally every day. I’m a production tech person so this backpack has allowed me to carry my work gear and my hobby of photography with me at the same time. I’ve spent a lot of time looking for a medium sized backpack that allows me to to safely carry all of my gear and protect my camera equipment at the same time, and I am so happy that this is the backpack I’ve been using for almost a year now.

I was looking for a good backpack to take on my trip to NYC but needed something protective for my Sony a6400. I don’t have a lot of camera gear as I’m just starting out but this backpack was great for my camera with lens attached and all my other gear I needed to carry with me (charging bricks, cables, power bank, as well as a nintendo switch in its own protective case). It even has a dedicated pocket for small laptops/tablets which I was able to fit a journal and ipad together.

I’m currently photography undergrad student and received the Lowepro Fastpack Camera Backpack as a gift from my mom.
It was very thoughtful of her because she was disabled from working in eight years ago due to MS but just over three years ago suffered a terrible TBI right before I started college. I've been my mom's caregiver since I was 15 and commute back and forth weekly between home and college to take care of her. My mom pretended she had an order ready for pick up Best Buy but it was actually a surprise for me because so I could carry my equipment securely.
I was a little skeptical about this product at first since I didn't take part in researching one that fit my needs and review this particular products information online or in person at Best Buy before purchasing. However, I’m really impressed with the convenience and security it provides my camera equipment.
The Quick Door access feature is a game-changer for me, as it allows me to store and retrieve my camera quickly through the side access. The backpack is also lightweight and has a minimal yet strategic padding that ensures comfort without sacrificing security and space.
It is such a blessing my mom came across the Lowepro Fastpack Camera Backpack for me to store all of my photography equipment in. The price is affordable for the quality, size, comfort, design and style.
I would highly recommend this Lowepro Fastpack Camera Backpack to any photography student or professional who needs a practical everyday backpack.

What does it hold?
- canon EOS R8
- 24-105mm f/4-7.1
- 50mm f/1.8
- 100-400mm USM
- Sunpak df4000 flash
- 14” MacBook Pro
- phone and laptop chargers
- 2 spare LP-E17 batteries w/ charger
- Peak Design Slingt
- 4 A5 hardcover notebooks
- portable SSD
- 3 Fountain pens
- assortment of cables
- misc lens and body caps
- snacks.
Goes anywhere, does anything, holds just about everything.
I’m also a pretty big guy (6’8”, 375) and this feels a good fit for my size. Smaller folks might feel it’s too big.
It’s got several places to secure a tripod/monopod, which is a huge bonus.
A few nitpicks.
- the camera access flap is on the opposite side I’d prefer.
- laptop compartment feels tight. Fitting a thicker laptop may be difficult.
- would appreciate battery pockets on the camera access flap, rather than having to dig for them.

Really high quality bag. I knew it would come up when I bought it so I can't take it away from the star rating but I do wish there were more space in the camera/lens area. Fills up VERY quick while the top half tends to be for a few loose, little things. The top handle and side loading camera section have been huge wins for the bag.

I absolutely love this backpack. It’s been incredibly useful for carrying everything I need—my cologne, sunglasses, laptop, and all of my camera gear. On top of that, it’s super comfortable to wear. I highly recommend it—100% worth it.

Light weight very durable. Had my camera two extra lenses and a few other things. The straps were easy to adjust and comfortable across my shoulder. Little on the expensive side but worth it.

I love this bag. When I first opened the box, I was a little concerned about how big (yes, measurements are given but I am a visual person) it was and how heavy it already was. After loading it up with my gear I was excited. I don't feel like my gear added much more weight to it. The amount of storage it offers is fantastic for a beginner like me. I have not had the opportunity to take it out much yet, but the few times I have, it was great.

I use this to carry my new Sony a7 IV and I love it. It holds all my EDC items I used to carry in a messenger bag, but this bag allows me to carry everything in one bundle. Definitely worth the money. I will say, it seems the cushioning may have retained some water because it feels barely moist, but that can likely be fixed. I just haven’t taken the time to dry it out.

Love this pack! It fits my a7iii, bunch of lenses, and all kinds of goodies easily. Customizable storage on the bottom half lets you fine tune it to your needs. It feels well built, I love the loops on the zippers, the material seems like it'll stand up to abuse. Worth the money.

I am able to fit 2 DSLRs, one with a lens mounted in the bottom section. The top area has two zipped compartments. The front is perfect for batteries, lenses, flashes, etc. I can fit a padded insert with a dslr with lens in the rear compartment, or extra clothing, snacks, etc for a day trip. My 17” laptop fits securely but I can’t zip it closed. I’ve had no issues with standing the case upright when necessary.

Really excellent option for traveling with camera gear. I hate having to carry multiple bags, or be extremely limited on what personal items I can fit after my camera gear. My only complaint is the gap in between the zippers on the upper largest compartment, but not enough to take a star off.
