I mean, if you have an LG fridge, you would need to check if this is compatible with your own. However, it needs to be changed every 400 gallons, which in our house doesn’t last very long. But it does the job, water taste better. Just remember to price match with Amazon if you’re buying this from Best Buy, because it’s definitely expensive.

Fridge filter for water and ice easy to install last a good amount of time, price a little steep but it last a long time.

I've always had to put some kind of flavoring in my water, not just for the taste, I can't stand the smell of city water. I can't drink out of plastic either...the smell is just so gross. This filter allows me to drink water again and actually enjoy it. It removes all of the offensive smell, not just most of it. It tastes clean and doesn't have a flavor, which is how clean water should taste. I replace it every 6 months, the old one twists out and I pop this one in and have been using it for almost two years and I drink a lot more water now.

I am glad the refrigerator I bought has an easy to find and easy to install water filter. I would only want the best for my family and pets. This water filter is a dream when it comes to water filters. It does not take up much room and produces water that even the Waterboy would be proud of!

Filter for refrigerator is good and very easy to install. But kind of expensive!

This filter is and exact fit, manufacturer filter for my fridge. I am happy with the water as it is clean and tastes great. More importantly, there were no leaks!! Thank you Best Buy!

This LG brand filter is the third filter we installed in our LG refrigerator (following the LG recommended schedule) and it does its job very well. Another (second) filter we installed was an NOT an LG and injected huge amounts of fine black particles into the water stream for the first gallon or more and, throughout its use for 6 months, left white particles in the water stream. This LG filter does neither of these things, the water has always been clear, just as with the LG filter that came with the refrigerator, and the water tastes fine. Of course, this LG brand filter is more expensive - but it's certainly worth it.
