I used to play this game when I was a kid on game cube. I loved it then, and I love it now. While the main game is fun, the mini game you can play once you pass level 3 is the funnest game ever!!!! Anyone whos played it wifh instantly is obsessed! Its a clean fun easy little game that gets more fun as your skills get better but you can have fun before then. Cannot higher recommend!

All Luigi’s Mansion games are great! You can’t go wrong! It’s a little repetitive if you’ve played any other title but it’s still fun!

Luigi’s Mansion was a phenom when it was released for the GameCube. It was Nintendo being brave and putting the secondary brother forward as the main character to drive them into the next generation. Despite the slower and methodical gameplay, coupled with questionable controls Luigi’s Mansion was cemented as a solid foundation for the series to build upon.
The second game, Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon was released for the 3DS. The game made excellent use of the handheld’s 3D function and was also a success. However, people that held their breath for another game across two generations of console hardware were left behind. The Wii and the WiiU were both without an entry to the series which left those that didn’t want to play the game field entry wanting more.
Enter Luigi’s Mansion 3. A true sequel in every sense of the word has finally arrived for Nintendo’s current generation hardware. This game delivers on every staple that makes a Nintendo game special. It’s incredibly polished, utilizes every hardware feature available in creative ways and is a ton of fun to play. It oozes charm out of every crevice and will undoubtedly leave you with a smile after you’re finished playing.
My only issue with the game is the controls. Like
The GameCube and 3DS counterparts, they are a little tricky to get used to and cumbersome at times. My recommendation is to go into Settings and change the right analog aiming from omnidirectional to horizontal. Also, remember to use the shoulder buttons for your flashlight. After some practice I was a ghost busting machine!
If you have children this game is amazing to play with them. After you get to a certain part in the story you’ll unlock the ability to play co op. The feature works wonderfully and my 4 year old has been having a blast getting to play with me. These are the types of games Nintendo is known for producing. It’s high quality, very creative and most important fun. Halloween may be over but there is still plenty of secrets to find and ghosts to vacuum up!

Luigi’s Mansion 3 is a delightful gem on the Nintendo Switch. From the moment you enter the haunted Last Resort Hotel, the game grabs you with stunning graphics, charming animations, and a sound design so atmospheric you’ll swear your Switch is haunted, lol. The game play is a blast, with Luigi vacuuming up ghosts, coins, and pretty much any shred of dignity he has left. I mean let’s be honest, Luigi deserves this break from being Mario’s understudy.
Each level in the hotel feels like a geeky fever dream. Egyptian tombs to pirate ships, and wrapped up with clever puzzles and secrets. Don’t let the cartoony charm fool you—the ghosts can be tough, and they’ve clearly been watching something like Home Alone.
I haven’t finished the game yet, but I’m hooked. If Luigi can keep his nerve, and the Gooigi from slipping into every drain, I'' certainly finish this one. It’s a must-play for every Switch owner and proof that Luigi is finally stepping out of his brother’s shadow… even if he’s still afraid of it.

So I haven't played any other Luigi's Mansion except for the GC version and that was wayyyy back when I actually still had a GC.
I saw snippets of game play on this 3rd game and wanted to test it out as it looked a little more interactive and different.
It definitely does not give you the spooky feels like the first game and there are times I wish they stuck little noises or actions like he did in the first (Like when he picked up the key and the music popped up or how he hummed all glumly in a dark room. It's a little more upbeat than the first for sure) But enough on comparison. It is adorable. I haven't even completed it yet and the animations and the art is super adorable. Totally Nintendo-esque and I actually convinced the husband to play it with me.
And he actually enjoyed it even though he spent most of the time laughing at how I enjoyed the corny little cute moments.
That being said, with the Co-op and the small little mini games you can play with others, it's definitely worth a shot to buy on sale if you're not a really big Luigi's mansion fan but want a nice little game to play with others at home.
But if you're a fan of adorable Nintendo art wit Luigi and ghosts on it, then just get it. It's so adorable and the animations for each thing ( down to running away from an enemy) is so cute to watch.
I would wish for Nintendo to tone down the price of their games due to the quality on a big screen, but hey.
That's a whole other story.
Other than that. I liked it. I'm still enjoying it. I play it with the family at times and it's cute/fun. I'm getting some worth out of it each time I turn it on. So its good

This game is really fun and probably one of my favorites in the Mario-verse. It runs really well, and there’s quite a lot to it. My one critique would be that sometimes the solutions to the individual “puzzles” during the levels get complex and hard to figure out what you’re supposed to do, but that doesn’t bother me all that much.
